I learned all this in one summer. Good to know so you can work on your own bike. Spindle length does matter on outboard euros. Because their might not be enough biting area for the crank arms. The Profile website has all the recommended sizes. But that’s mostly just racing bikes.

Its basically the same yeah. I'm just confused now cos i have TWO supposedly MID BB bicycles BUt they have the same style of BB as the Euro inboard so i'm wondering if it depends on where you buy teh bike what you get with it. I'm from teh UK so wondering if Stolen fit UK frames for inboard euro. Which would be nice cos it would mean i could slap a outboard hollowtech on it and have auch better bike haha.

You forgot the random 20mm spindle which is always fun when that comes up. It’s not coming at all but 20 years ago it was out there on 8 spline cranks. Or the short lived Maltese BB in the early 10’s which was a euro bb without the threads or the aluminum shell on the bearings so you just pressed in 2 on each side euro size bearings. Remember that time in the early 00’s when some companies were trying to push euro’s in the freestyle world? Kinda wish that caught on tbh

I can’t used a regular 144bcd, they don’t take the big chainring. Thts why ppl are using the bmx crankset cuz of smaller chain rings. I’m thinking euro out board.
