I'm in need of advice regarding bottom bracket, I have bought a Jason phelan GT BMX frame, it takes a mid bottom bracket with 19mm 8 spline spindle..
I want to be able to fit a 44t two or three piece sprock crank set..
Most of the sets I see on line that I like are square tapered cranks ...
Is there a square tapered spindle or adaptor I can use to allow me to use square tapered cranks and get the sprocket I want...

      Hello,
That frame will take a 30 tooth (Maybe 33) cog maximum on a BMX style 3 piece crank set before it will hit the chainstay(the tube coming out from behind the BB shell). You cannot fit the threaded square taper bottom bracket into a mid shell unfortunately.

I think 22mm mid bbs the best one to go for 24mm blow out easyer and start creaking I found 19mm cranks flex 1pc cranks flex so easy and the cranks come loose and wobble all the time never run euro bb on race BMX’s and mountain bikes
