Quick guide on how to connect your DDJ-200 to rekordbox on your computer. I'm using a 2016 Macbook Pro. You can use the same method for Windows computers also.

Great little controller for set prep and seeing what works quickly. It’s tiny, I have my PC keyboard and mouse right by it. The workflow is much better than having a huge bit of kit in the way.

I can’t connect my ddj 200 to the MacBook they keep saying Waiting for "DDJ-200" to accept pairing.

The website that I want to buy the ddj200 on, tells me that it has a intern hardware license for record box. Do I need to pay something extra to use record box and ddj200?
The built in output isn’t showing for me, do I have to use pioneers own split cable or does any work?
Can rekordbox use Apple Music? And do I have to pay for a license or for a pro version of Redbox once I hook up a DDJ 200??

Thanks for the feedback! You'll need to select SAMPLER at the bottom of the screen to enable Sampler mode on the pads. From there, drag-drop your samples & they can be triggered
Hello. I’m thinking about using this controller as a cheap way of controlling rekordbox decks whilst also using my xone px5 mixer in external mode for channel control and also for its internal sound card. Is this possible? I assume I would select Xone px5 as audio output in preferences and select external mode. Thank you
Audio will go thru no problem, but consider the headphone cues. Make sure it's set up correctly in preferences > audio. As for the deck control, you can use the DDJ-200 jogs or compatible CDJs. You cannot use turntables as the controller doesn't support dvs. See chart below for more info.

hey I. just bought this deck and wondering how to get the transition fx to work? the on button in the middle doesn't light up and allow me to fade?

to achieve same result in rekordbox : maintain "shift " button and use fader left to right to fx transition , same shift + volume deck 1 and 2 (one up while other go down ) . you will see transition fx button go red while shift + volume or fader and you obtain a transition fx . but it doesn't work the same as in the phone app . but it is ok like that
what kind of cable do i need to set this up i have everything right but the cables (specifically for ddj1000)

yea this is for mac, on mac everything is working properly especially on laptop, but the problem is on PC, i can't use it on pc, keep getting "unknown device driver error" did everything i saw on internet, nothing works. Windows 11
Should still work regardless of OS. Please submit a support ticket thru rekordbox.com, provide as much info as you can & the support team will help you out.
Is there a way to browse and load a track using the controller
Unfortunately not as there's not browse knob and load button. You'll need to click drag or use keyboard shortcuts. Consider the ddj-flx4 or similar.
When I follow these steps exactly, the mono split button never appears, and rekordbox just tells me I need to pay 50USD a month to use DDJ200 in performance mode.
So frustrating.

I did thanks it was software related when I loaded into sera to it downloaded a file and all was good from then on
My rekordbox doesn’t detect my ddj 200… when I plug it in it’s lit, but it doesn’t seem to be working at all. I don’t know what to do… :(
replace USB cable, update rekordbox, make sure your computer meets the requirements. and get onto PERFORMANCE mode > ruclips.net/video/JiV2zoxtbZA/видео.html

I have a windows 11 and no matter what I do I can not get my decks to connect also the others apps djay and all that won't work wasit of time have to pay for all the apps as well whole thing is rubbish
