Your shorts are great and you look fantastic in them! 😍👌🏻💯 As for how they fit around the crotch, I've seen many pictures of people in the Persephone pants / shorts and it seems to me that that's just how they fit and look. The same thing goes for the fly. I can't remember who it was or where I saw it, but somebody pointed out that they'd modified the fly somehow to avoid the fly front from gaping slightly because they'd either noticed it on a lot of other people or they'd made a previous pair themselves and wanted to fix that the next time around. So, all of that to say that you're not alone on those two points and not to worry about it. 😊

What a great tutorial and aren’t they beautifully made well done I think you always get creases on shorts even the shop bought ones the fly looks just fine if you had bought them you wouldn’t have noticed that.

I love your shorts. They are gorgeous. You did an amazing job sewing and teaching. I do have a question. I was wondering if moving the 4 buttons closer to the edge by a bit would have also worked? Would it have fixed the gaping and added a slight amount in the hips? I'm not a proficient sewist, so, I like a lot of alternative ways around a problem. It helps me feel more confident in case a less than optimal situation occurs. But, you did awesome and rolled with it.
