Hi Michelle, glad to hear that you are taking some time out to enjoy your garden and the outdoors - we have to grab those moments while we can this summer (it’s been a bit hit and miss here in the SW at least). I’ve been the same - not so inclined to sew as I’ve wanted to be outdoors as much as possible. I hope the DIY goes well - I imagine that’s another reason you’re not so inclined to sew - if your sewing space has become a storage area while DIY is in progress. It’s the same in our house as we’ve recently laid a wood floor in the lounge. It’s always worth it in the end though. Your William Morris Scout is lovely. It was you that got me interested in the Scout Tee and it’s now one of my faves too (thank you) it’s so easy and comfortable to wear. Have you tried any of the variations in the expansion pack? Enjoy your summer and happy sewing (whenever you feel like it)🧵😊🧵

Question: could you actually use the STP as light sew-in interlining for accessories that would not be washed? I suppose that if it is compostable it would disintegrate in water, wouldn’t it?

Hi Michelle, love your videos. I love how you showed how to grade the front of the skirt. Did you also grade the back of the skirt? If yes, did you use the same method as you used in the front? (There is no marking in the back skirt as the front skirt). Thank you 🥰

Hey thanks for video lovely , I’m new to patterns is it 5/8 seam allowance to join shoulders, sleeves, joining sides? Also confusion on joining placket around neckline also is it 5/8 for that also? We’re it circles dots with size number is this reference to we’re sitich and join collar hopefully I make sence and you can help me please. Thanks ❤

I'd like to see the other versions of this pattern made.

When you did the arm hole finish you could have stitched in the ditch. It would've helped you turn over the material to give a very clean edge. Just letting you know in case you didn't. Love the fabric you chose.

I have made 3 pairs of Pietra pants - shorts, capri and long pants. I too could not have done them without you fabulous instructions. I just stopped the video at each point where there was a change and followed along with the video. I did not even look at the pattern!!! U are right these are fabulous pants that hang beautifully.

I am relatively new to sewing. I get soooo confused when reading patterns. This sew along was brilliant. The best one that I have followed. I couldn't have made them without you. Thank you so much.

As an inexperienced sewist I wasn't sure if I could make these, but with the help of your tutorial, I have finished them (it took me about 6 months on and off :)). Next time, I would use a lighter fabric, as I used denim for my first pair and it was very bulky when trying to sew through multi-layers, I'll try linen next time. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for this tutorial Michelle, I couldn’t have made my trousers without you virtually holding my hand through the make, I’ve just got the hem left to do and I’m delighted with them, I made the wide leg version. ❤❤
