I lost my sewing mojo haven't been in my sewing room this year but found your channel and its inspired me again I've ordered some fabrics and patterns to a couple of your sew alongside to do to give me some confidence. I've been watching your past vlogmas videos too so heart warming 💓
I got lazy about cleaning up the garden in the autumn because we had just moved in and were doing some renovations and now it's quite overgrown. I've been tackling it slowly so that it doesn't become an overwhelming chore, I just hope my neighbours bear with me as I get it under control. They all have such pretty gardens, I don't want to be the neighbourhood eyesore!

Hi Michelle, glad to hear that you are taking some time out to enjoy your garden and the outdoors - we have to grab those moments while we can this summer (it’s been a bit hit and miss here in the SW at least). I’ve been the same - not so inclined to sew as I’ve wanted to be outdoors as much as possible. I hope the DIY goes well - I imagine that’s another reason you’re not so inclined to sew - if your sewing space has become a storage area while DIY is in progress. It’s the same in our house as we’ve recently laid a wood floor in the lounge. It’s always worth it in the end though. Your William Morris Scout is lovely. It was you that got me interested in the Scout Tee and it’s now one of my faves too (thank you) it’s so easy and comfortable to wear. Have you tried any of the variations in the expansion pack? Hi Michelle, Lovely to see you. Your Lyra is as beautiful as as I knew it would be. I agree with you about the collar. I’ve made three and have had not issues whatsoever with cutting the collar pieces on the straight of grain. We’re obviously missing something 😄 I really like all your makes Michelle; you’ve chosen such pretty fabric. That quilt top uses such pretty colours too. Your quilts seem to be getting bigger and better , maybe it’s time to start one for the bedroom ? 🤔😃. I quite agree that there are lots of other things to be doing as well as sewing. It is lovely to be able to make your own clothes etc. but there is also so much more in life to get pleasure from and gardening is a huge part of that. There is a great deal of satisfaction is that form of creation. Also, you’ve got your choir too. Where I live it’s been go time in the garden. We’re harvesting now so I understand completely about wanting to be in the garden. Thank you for the videos you’ve provided. They are so helpful.

We are moving house my sewing room is piled high with boxes. Work must be very stressful so you need to be in your garden to unwind xx good luck
