Phone has been amazing especially love the freedom and not having the same phone as someone else and all 👀 on me when I pull out the S24… The S pen is by far the best tool on any device especially when needing something to take notes, or measurements or even a remote for my camera and other phone features…
First seconds of The videos is so true already iPhone just have gotten so boring Im starting to fully switch to my fold 4 as my main phone I'm thinking about getting that ultra. Also with RCS coming out for apple to merge messages with android (essentially) ill take the lose
Once a Note User, Always a Note User! I've been with Samsung since the beginning and the S24 Ultra has been truly impressive. I've been customizing my Notes in all kinds of fun and creative ways. You have so much flexibility. Having access to developer features is an absolute plus. If you know what you're doing, then you know there is nothing you cannot do with a high end Android device like the S24 Ultra! Limitless... Great video as always
Mate, I keep trying to immerse myself into the iphone (I don't care about the ecosystem) but it still has so many limitations that it still feels like using a 5-6 years old phone except for the cameras.
Long time Android user and switched to Apple and I am enjoying it. Got the 15 pro and FaceTime and my Apple Watch Ultra 2 and just loving the Apple experience.
I just switched to s24 ultra and it is worth every bit of it! It is packed with so many features and the camera is unbelievable. Longterm apple will catch up and take over especially in the app department. Until then rock that s24 ultra bc it's a productivity beast
I don't think Apple will catch up because it's soooo far behind like by then Samsung will be on a WHOLE NEW evolution level that Apple will struggle another 15 years to try to get to Samsung already to far ahead of the game for Apple to ever catch up with unless Apple partners with them and then at that point it'll be pointless to get a iphone 😅 Steve Jobs would've kept up but the people who got the brand after he died are not tech geeks like Samsung and Android so they so far behind. That's why there has not been much innovation with the times but yet still same thing from back in the day
Apple has NEVER caught up to Samsungs flagships phones, what makes you think they will on the future. For crying out, Samsung supplies Apple with their tools. If they were superior why run to your competitor for their resources?
First 3 minutes of the video just shows that: iPhone makes you "an iPhone person" and Samsung makes your phone "You!" idk if anyone here will understand this but I know CJKnowsTECH understand this one.
I switched too. I loved 95% of the s24 ultra. The display, the battery, cameras, honestly almost everything. Only thing that kept annoying me was the biometrics. It was subtle at first and then it kept missing fingerprints. I set the same finger twice multiple time, but still had many times where it would fail. Eventually, I just the sold the device and am now returning to apple. And I am dreading the decision, but I never realized how much better just the basic biometrics for apple was. I hope to return back next year.
The Samsung S Series is good. But! Still miss the days of, "THE NOTE!!!!!" What can I say, "I'm a Note lover." Which finally took me away from the first, HTC with front facing dual speakers.... wow!
Still have my iPhone 14 Pro, no plan to upgrade to the 16 Pro. Still have my S23 Ultra, no plans to upgrade to the 25 Ultra. Just bought the OnePlus 12 three weeks ago, along with the OP watch 2, enjoying it so far and will stick with it until it proves otherwise. CJ, what's your daily driver these days? Nice video!
As a long-Time Samsung phone user, I must say that the speakers on Samsung phones used to be excellent, especially when portable speakers were not as widely available as they are today. Samsung understood that many people use headphones or portable speakers, so they made a decision to dial down the sound quality of their phones.
not to mention the reverse charge to charge other gadgets with you're samsung, the fact you can turn your tv into a PC with you DEX, the S Pen that's included, the fact that it takes bettter picures and videos, it doesn't charge you for every little thing, I also switched from iphone to the S24 ultra
@CJKnowsTECH don't lie to him CJ, tell him the truth. Apple just a close source operating system, same what Blackberry was at one time. You have nothing special.
Great content. Do you really need a laptop or computer or a tablet if you have a galaxy s phone. All you need is a monitor, and to use Dex on your s phone.
Great video. Likes you, Marques and many others, I use Android as my main/primary phone (Galaxy S24) and I use an iPhone for my business phone. Yes, the iPhone is pretty slick, but it's the details that Android gets right. Case in point, all Android phones have a number pad above the keyboard. This means you never have to toggle to a number pad when entering phone numbers, addresses, dollar amounts, passwords, etc. Most people don't know, but if you've used Android, it's such a pain using an iPhone keypad. We've been able to move the App icons anywhere on the screen since day 1, yet Apple is waiting 15 years to bring this out? Surfing the web is so much better on Android as there is a dedicated 'back' button at the bottom of each page (can even customize the location) but on my iPhone, you have to reach to the top left of the screen on many pages. It's not a streamlined and uniform experience. I could go on and on.. Both are great, but an Android will always be my primary driver...
I switched 2 weeks ago from iphone 15 pro to s24 ultra. Upgraded my watch today, my iPad is next. Absolutely satisfied. Going over to watch the camera video riiiiiiiiiight, now
I have an iphone 14 pro and a Samsung galaxy z fold 4. I daily drive the iphone and only use the Samsung only when I need to complete or sign a word document. I just don't care about all those customisation shit. I just love the convenience of my iphone and not ready to change.
I have both and I only use my S24 Ultra and Z Fold 5 for fun and Entertainment. I only use my IPhone 15 Pro Max to make calls and because I Love the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Because of the Watch, Air Drop, iMessage, Apple TV that has my downloaded Movies, and Apple Music I made my main phone Apple. But I never have it in my hands. Because Apple is Boring. But Effective
As an Iphone user, I never really used iMessage or the Facetime, I used Airdrop 2-3 times in my whole life. So I don't think I would lose anything. As I watched your watched your video sir, I kinda understand you. The newest iphone is not that wanted as Samsung nowadays: iPhone may have good features in it, but the user may or may not use those features or settings out. In Samsung, I think they're able to use those features and settings out, which are actually useful for an usual, "normal" person. For example, the circle search, the AI search n' stuff like that. 👍
I've had the s1, 2,3,5, then went to note after went to the S10 which I kept until last year until I got the s23 now I am rocking the s24. In my opinion there is little between the S23 and 24 but I really wanted the flat screen7 years of updates. I never owned an iphone but I am a Macbook and ipad user and you're correct because of the lack of freedom I would never go to iphone.
Ive dropped my Iphone4 for Samsung and never looked back, but one thing Ive always envied about Apple is the video calling "FaceTime". Even with my 24U i feel like the quality of video calls aint there still.
Apple does have a Great Ecosystem. But Samsung might be neck and neck because they have more options in the ecosystem of Samsung. They got phones, Laptop, Smart fridges with screens, washers and dryers and tablets so the Samsung ecosystem is Huge people just so stuck on Apple that they mistake Apple as being the BEST or like they're the only ones with a actual ecosystem
@@whatsthetopictodaywithceel4448 They have alot of options, but what I've seen from reviews online, apple seems to work just slightly better. And when it comes to apps, just about every app company prioritize apple products, then include android as an after thought. That's why the same app on apple phones has more features and work better. Me personally, I have a s24 ultra because that's the ecosystem I grew up with, and android phones have more freedom to do other things.
@@whatsthetopictodaywithceel4448 Stop comparing that kind of ecosystem. When we talk about "ecosystem", we mean the seamless integration between devices. There's an easy hand off from your MacBook, to Iphone, AirPods, Apple TV. etc. Those 4 devices talk to each other without opening up any app. Samsung might have laptops or earbuds, but its not in the same level as the Apple devices i mentioned above.
@moundjibenflis4782 yes still lovin this s24! Both of those phones are good phones kind of hard to say. I just switched because I've been using iphone for over 10 years and wanted to go back to samsung.
@@moundjibenflis4782 if you use iMessage, Airdrop, FaceTime, wallet, reminders, Shortcuts or calendar on the regular or if these apps are important to your daily routine I wouldn't switch. Samsung's version of the same apps fall way short.
I'm an Android fan boy who switched to iphone for the last 6-7 years while my kids where growing up. The ecosystem of Find My and screen time etc is unmatched. But now that they're grown up I'm switching back. They've definitely added more features but there stuff Android has had for the last decade
What? You said It's just a phone but then you say love your iphone and will never go android? You're talking out of both sides of your mouth. Typical crybaby, apple-fanboy hater holding on to old tech and upset the world is passing him by.
I just got that iphone 16 pro max yesterday and returned it an hour later for a S24 ultra. The phone was smaller than my iphone 12 pro max. If apple is gonna promote bigger screens they need to make bigger phones like Samsung does. I would love it if they brought back the galaxy mega 👍
I switched from Samsung note 20 ultra and got the iPhone 14 pro max I've had every note up til the note 20,its a few things that I miss, but I'm staying with iPhone!
I been an Android guy since the g1! Switched to iPhone tho 2021 now I’m thinking bout switching back to this joint but hella conflicted. That iMessage man!!! 😂
What about life photos? My number one worry is losing all of these 2-3 second memories for each picture I’ve taken. I don’t think OneDrive or GPhotos keeps that metadata, but I could be wrong. If I were to switch, I think I would want to keep my old iPhone just in case.
which is one of the reasons why I always end up reactivating my iphone 15 pro max. Developers will always prioritize IOS. Must say the best answer to IOS vs Android is just to own both lol.
@ralphmilleriii9957 yes i know it's harder to develop, but still would be nice if at least flagships got better app versions, i use both android and iphone and one app that always comes to mind is Instagram, works much better on ios
I've had 4 phones and now am with Samsung. I don't dislike my iPhone products and still have iPads, however having recently moved to an s24 Ultra (had a note 20 ultra before) it's refreshingly different and easy to switch to as well. Well worth a look if you're thinking about something different to Apple and now I've read Samsung phones are outselling iPhone in 2024? I can see why with this latest handset 👍
Why does the apple iPhones always die so quickly I have a iPhone 15pro max I’ve had it for 7 months now and my battery health is at 89 percent I still have the limited warranty until 11/24 Every iPhone I get this happens every single year and when I go to apple they look into my settings and tell me it’s because I’m using my phone to much. And I am a construction worker. I am not on my phone for 9 hours a day. 7am to 4 sometimes 5
I left Samsung for IPhone 15 pro max. I am most certainly going back. What an awful experience and waste of 12 months and money. It’s literally hot garbage.
I watched my girl suffer through Apple for 8 years! She complained, I gave her the solution. Finally I got her to try a Samsung and it was like I got a brand new woman! Well not really, but She's very happy now!
To someone who never used Samsung/Android. I just got my S24 Ultra and the Samsung Ultra watch. I miss some features from the iPhone of course, but I’m so happy I switched over. It’s also fun learning everything I can do with this phone.
I see so many saying they switched, yet the figures don't say so: iPhone 15 Pro Max 34 million iPhone 14 Pro Max 33 million iPhone 14 29 million iPhone 15 Pro 28 million Indeed out of the top 10 selling devices, 7 are Apple and not one Samsung Ultra phone gets in. So Samsungs top rated device cannot beat Apples lowest rated on sales figures.
All phones are boring at this point. If you had a Samsung s20, 21, 22 and 23, then the 24 would be boring. You have to make the decision based upon your other equipment. I have a lg tv which works far better with its built in AirPlay than it does with its laggy screen mirror on android (I’ve tried both). My kids also have iPhones so it’s better to also have a iPhone. That said my pad is android because I like to play around with unlocking bootloaders, rooting with roms and all that other good stuff.
I just switched from apple to S24 Ultra as well. Not totally sure if I'll like it more but it's by no means bad enough to immediately go back to iPhone. Some things are better, some things are worse. But the best thing is that this phone actually suggests the correct email address when I'm typing it, Apple went like 10 years without learning to suggest the one that I use all the time.
Believe it or not the S24 Ultra is the more expensive device. Both are amazing. I have both. The IPhone works better for me at work. It all comes down to who you communicate on a daily basis. If people you talk to or work with predominantly use iPhone stick with Apple. If not, go with the S24 Ultra.
After today’s announcement I can see a video reversing that decision especially if an IPhone 16 Ultra drops. I can’t even use my S24U over the 15PM right now due to the ecosystem reasons, after this WWDC, it’s game over. Apple said 🎤 drop
I have the s24 Ultra and haven't been an iphone user since the 6s honestly, but the editing and the crispiness of your video, and you being my boy, made me stay for this review and I really do honestly agree with the whole video. This was some heat.
My first smartphone was an iPhone 3GS, I kept that going far longer than I should have with the WhiteD00R custom rom (back when you could do such a thing with iPhones). I was an Android user until I once again got an iPhone with the original SE. What drew me back to Android after that was how easy emulators were to set up. My current phone is now a Galaxy Z Fold 3 but now that Apple has started to let emulators onto the app store I am very much open to using an Apple phone as my next one.
And why is it only the iphone pro that gets 120hrtz? Android have been rocking this for years. We scroll on our phones at rapid rates, for the premium $$ you pay for apple, every phone should have this. S24 ultra is smoooooooth scrolling....
I removed majority of icons and use widgets. Faster to get to apps pulling down on screen and type first letter of app. Also ALOT more accessories for Apple devices to customize, especially if you a gadget person. No watch surpasses the Apple Watch, so iPhone and iPad Pro, able to handle everything efficiently.

This is exactly what I did. Literally just switched to the S24 Ultra yesterday from the iPhone 14 Pro Max and I'm very happy with it!
Mate, I keep trying to immerse myself into the iphone (I don't care about the ecosystem) but it still has so many limitations that it still feels like using a 5-6 years old phone except for the cameras.
Understood. Respect
@CJKnowsTECH Thanks mate. Respect to you too.
Long time Android user and switched to Apple and I am enjoying it. Got the 15 pro and FaceTime and my Apple Watch Ultra 2 and just loving the Apple experience.
You'll get bored eventually
I just switched to s24 ultra and it is worth every bit of it! It is packed with so many features and the camera is unbelievable. Longterm apple will catch up and take over especially in the app department. Until then rock that s24 ultra bc it's a productivity beast
Takeover 😂😂😂
Productivity yes but camera Absolutely Not
I don't think Apple will catch up because it's soooo far behind like by then Samsung will be on a WHOLE NEW evolution level that Apple will struggle another 15 years to try to get to Samsung already to far ahead of the game for Apple to ever catch up with unless Apple partners with them and then at that point it'll be pointless to get a iphone 😅 Steve Jobs would've kept up but the people who got the brand after he died are not tech geeks like Samsung and Android so they so far behind. That's why there has not been much innovation with the times but yet still same thing from back in the day
Apple has NEVER caught up to Samsungs flagships phones, what makes you think they will on the future. For crying out, Samsung supplies Apple with their tools. If they were superior why run to your competitor for their resources?
I feel you CJ. Primary Apple user here w/ a S24 Ultra & Z Fold as sidekicks. Why? Because sometimes you want an apple and an orange! ✌🏾
Right
First 3 minutes of the video just shows that:
iPhone makes you "an iPhone person"
and
Samsung makes your phone "You!"
idk if anyone here will understand this but I know CJKnowsTECH understand this one.
The finger print thing on andriod is truly annoying fr.
The Samsung S Series is good. But! Still miss the days of,
"THE NOTE!!!!!"
What can I say, "I'm a Note lover." Which finally took me away from the first, HTC with front facing dual speakers.... wow!
The Ultra are pretty much just integrated notes. The only thing they took away was the size and headphone jack(if you count that as a note feature.)
Nice video!
Daily driver is always 2 phones at one time(one iPhone one android). Currently: iPhone 15 Pro Max & S24 Ultra
Bro. You should've bought Vivo x100 ultra instead of One plus 12.
@@leemoika7376 Not feeling the design of that phone.
@@CoachD77 understandable 😂
@@leemoika7376 I assume that's what you have ?
Traded my iphone 14 pro for the s24 ultra couple days ago.. iphone really just have you in a cult like mentality, i feel like ive been enlightened 😂
I'm convinced that this guy is the Katt Williams of Tech videos
Switched from Android to Apple and ecosystem is the best. Everything just worked together and never gonna go back to android
Right. That ecosystem is well built
@CJKnowsTECH don't lie to him CJ, tell him the truth.
Apple just a close source operating system, same what Blackberry was at one time. You have nothing special.
@@BruceDragon-sf1tr lol
Did that over a year ago went from a 12 pro max to an s22ultra and love it
Great content. Do you really need a laptop or computer or a tablet if you have a galaxy s phone. All you need is a monitor, and to use Dex on your s phone.
💯 dex is gold
I use my iphone as a game phone now. My s24 ultra is great
I switched 2 weeks ago from iphone 15 pro to s24 ultra. Upgraded my watch today, my iPad is next.
Absolutely satisfied. Going over to watch the camera video riiiiiiiiiight, now
Did you get the galaxy watch? How do you like it?
Boring but EFFECTIVE. I love that statement
Big facts
Android user since day 1. It does sooooo much more than an iphone ever could dream of.
Agreed. Since the g1.
I just switched from the 15 pro max the only thing I miss is imessage and FaceTime. Other than that probably airdrop
There is airdrod version of airdrop now. Its called quickshare...
I know how to use my iphone very well, never boring and very polished
I've had the s1, 2,3,5, then went to note after went to the S10 which I kept until last year until I got the s23 now I am rocking the s24. In my opinion there is little between the S23 and 24 but I really wanted the flat screen7 years of updates. I never owned an iphone but I am a Macbook and ipad user and you're correct because of the lack of freedom I would never go to iphone.
S24U 🔥🔥🔥🔥
GPU
Ive dropped my Iphone4 for Samsung and never looked back, but one thing Ive always envied about Apple is the video calling "FaceTime". Even with my 24U i feel like the quality of video calls aint there still.
Mate, I absolutely love your videos! Super informative and well done. Keep it up 👌
Thanks, I appreciate that. Respect
Great video, but high resale on iPhone is horrible! My iPhone 15 Pro Max is worth 50% less after 12 months! All Apple propaganda!
Apple has a better ecosystem. But as far as the phone itself, Samsung comes out front
@@beigefox6579 I can give u that that's true
Went from iPhone 13 to S24 last week and i love it!
Do you still love it ? And do you advise me to change from my iPhone 15pm to an s24 ultra ??
People talk about phones like it’s a basketball team 🤦♂️it’s just a phone, I have the iPhone 15 pro max and love it I’ll never go to android
What? You said It's just a phone but then you say love your iphone and will never go android? You're talking out of both sides of your mouth. Typical crybaby, apple-fanboy hater holding on to old tech and upset the world is passing him by.
Basketball is just basketball🤷♂️
I just got that iphone 16 pro max yesterday and returned it an hour later for a S24 ultra.
The phone was smaller than my iphone 12 pro max.
If apple is gonna promote bigger screens they need to make bigger phones like Samsung does.
I would love it if they brought back the galaxy mega 👍
Full respect for that. I have the Samsung S24 Ultra which I bought about two weeks ago.
Does grainy screen while reading on dark place really an issue? I am torn between this and pixel
Same
Yeah reading is my go to
@@chibonchibon3967 Think I’ll go Pixel 8 Pro.
Where did you get that awesome launcher and background?
Nova Launcher / Crayon Icon Pack / Custom widget (video coming soon)
I switched from Samsung note 20 ultra and got the iPhone 14 pro max
I've had every note up til the note 20,its a few things that I miss, but I'm staying with iPhone!
I tried S24 Ultra, but to do so I lost Apple Watch Ultra and got a Galaxy Watch.
I couldn't get back soon enough.
I been an Android guy since the g1! Switched to iPhone tho 2021 now I’m thinking bout switching back to this joint but hella conflicted. That iMessage man!!! 😂
The iMessage! 😂 I know right
I agree with you 100 percent here and you really nailed lots of crucial points
What about life photos? My number one worry is losing all of these 2-3 second memories for each picture I’ve taken. I don’t think OneDrive or GPhotos keeps that metadata, but I could be wrong. If I were to switch, I think I would want to keep my old iPhone just in case.
You would have to convert your Live Photos to video or GIF first. Live Photos is proprietary to Apple.
You have live pictures in google photos since a few years ago...
You have no reason to worry about that
Left iphone recently I got S23 ultra. I never knew what I was missing im never looking back!
What are you missing? Useless customization? Dumb 😂
Nice video bro. I was a user that got bored of apple and switched. Never looked back.
Galaxy fold 3
Galaxy Fold 5
Excellent content. I appreciated your perspective, although is the s24 ultra your primary device and the iphone your main source of content creation ?
I carry 2 phones always one iPhone and one android and use both interchangeably to experience both platforms
@@CJKnowsTECH Yeah, probably 90% iPhone and 10% Android just so he can say he "uses" one. LOL. Just another fake RUclipsr that "switches".
Iphone is boring but apps for it are better developped
Definitely true
Absolutely, every single app works and looks much better
which is one of the reasons why I always end up reactivating my iphone 15 pro max. Developers will always prioritize IOS. Must say the best answer to IOS vs Android is just to own both lol.
Android phones have so many form factors that the developers have to make their apps “one size fits all”.
I have both iPhone and android and its not the iPhone that is collecting dust
What icon pack are you using? Love it
Nova Launcher / Crayon Icon Pack / Custom widget (video coming soon)
I’ve switched between them 8 times. Apple is just easier to use and I don’t need 10 million variations of my Home Screen.
Why does the apple iPhones always die so quickly
I have a iPhone 15pro max
I’ve had it for 7 months now and my battery health is at 89 percent
I still have the limited warranty until 11/24
Every iPhone I get this happens every single year and when I go to apple they look into my settings and tell me it’s because I’m using my phone to much.
And I am a construction worker. I am not on my phone for 9 hours a day.
7am to 4 sometimes 5
We all know samsung is the superior product.
What the theme you used on the s24 ultra
Nova Launcher / Crayon Icon Pack / Custom widget (video coming soon)
@CJKnowsTECH thanks brother
I left Samsung for IPhone 15 pro max. I am most certainly going back. What an awful experience and waste of 12 months and money. It’s literally hot garbage.
I do miss apple fr. Something about the ecosystem and how simple it is. BUT samsung phone is better. I just need to set it up better
Right! The Apple Ecosystem is legit
Left iPhone 1 year ago. S24s is awesome . The favorite thing is the translator function and AI .
Quickshare is faster than AirDrop in my experience
I watched my girl suffer through Apple for 8 years! She complained, I gave her the solution. Finally I got her to try a Samsung and it was like I got a brand new woman! Well not really, but She's very happy now!
Literally the only thing you missing is the iMessage cause all of that is in android
To someone who never used Samsung/Android. I just got my S24 Ultra and the Samsung Ultra watch. I miss some features from the iPhone of course, but I’m so happy I switched over. It’s also fun learning everything I can do with this phone.
Name of the icon pack and launcher you are using please.
Crayon icon pack.
I'm glad that I have an Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. I had an Apple iPhone 15 plus but I returned it and sticking with the s22 Ultra woohoo
Yes s24 ultra is best
I see so many saying they switched, yet the figures don't say so:
iPhone 15 Pro Max 34 million
iPhone 14 Pro Max 33 million
iPhone 14 29 million
iPhone 15 Pro 28 million
Indeed out of the top 10 selling devices, 7 are Apple and not one Samsung Ultra phone gets in.
I agree that all phones are "boring" because all phones have hit a plateau
I mean, the s24+ brought back 1440p QHD, gave us AI features, and it introduced dynamic AOD wallpapers. I wouldn't necessarily say that's boring.
Currently rocking the S24 Ultra from an iPhone 14 Pro Max. But ingo back and forth all of the time.
Noticed your ROG Ally just got one myself great bit of kit 💪
Yup one of my favs
After today’s announcement I can see a video reversing that decision especially if an IPhone 16 Ultra drops. I can’t even use my S24U over the 15PM right now due to the ecosystem reasons, after this WWDC, it’s game over. Apple said 🎤 drop
I have the s24 Ultra and haven't been an iphone user since the 6s honestly, but the editing and the crispiness of your video, and you being my boy, made me stay for this review and I really do honestly agree with the whole video. This was some heat.
Destroyed my 12 pro max, it was cool lasted me 4 years. Just got a s24 ultra and it's been a nice change up. Hope this lasts just as long
My first smartphone was an iPhone 3GS, I kept that going far longer than I should have with the WhiteD00R custom rom (back when you could do such a thing with iPhones).
Nice.i appreciate your open-mindedness. Respect
You finally said it. Welcome.
You forgot to mention that the s24 is truly 120hz it feels much smoother compared to the iPhone
because ios using around 80hz most of the time
And why is it only the iphone pro that gets 120hrtz? Android have been rocking this for years. We scroll on our phones at rapid rates, for the premium $$ you pay for apple, every phone should have this. S24 ultra is smoooooooth scrolling....
I removed majority of icons and use widgets. Faster to get to apps pulling down on screen and type first letter of app. Also ALOT more accessories for Apple devices to customize, especially if you a gadget person. No watch surpasses the Apple Watch, so iPhone and iPad Pro, able to handle everything efficiently.
