My pc could literally play cyberpunk, Elden, and Baldur's just fine without any stutters. It's insane that Wuwa is horribly optimized until now.

It's the engine problem for UE4 there's no fix for this or any patch for this issue, unless they change engine to UE5
Yee. I used to be able to play this game alright when it was first released but after that update where they changed the sensitivity and stuff it started randomly crashing and lagging

Weird, i was able to play at ultra graphics on Genshin on 60fps but when it comes to Wuwa

wuwa uses unreal engine 4 which doesnt have the same optimization as unity

It’s the engine, unreal doesn’t deal well with mixed hardware. And well, wuwa is poorly optimized to begin with
I have a laptop I use for gaming and honestly, I have run other games that run pretty smoothly but when it comes to ww the game becomes very laggy and buggy...i have tried so many things and nothing has worked so far

N the first days it was fine for me, maybe some frame drops but nothing too major, after the "fixes" is barely playable, the animations don't even play anymore, characters just a posing everywhere
Change the resolution from Windows settings since it doesn't work in the game

I can play God of War,AC Valhalla,Genshin,DMC 5,GTA 5,Witcher 3,AC Origins,Dying Light 2, without lag and yet even with the lowest setting this game still lags,the optimization is a disaster
It's because the game uses your cpu more than your GPU causing it to lag and stutter. Also, the game is not optimized properly.

@@HanselIsNaturalI got a 4070 super + i5 14600k. The stutters are not even the biggest problem,for me its the framepacing where I feel like the framerate changes constantly when I look around
@@just1nt1m3 same dawg, my laptop works perfectly on heavy games like Genshin Impact, Apex Legends but wen playing Wuwa my framerate literally changes everytime I look around but if I dont move my camera or mouse its smooth and works fine
I don't understand what happened, it was working fine for me until the quick update yesterday, now it stutters nonstop no matter the settings, and my PC is not weak, I can play Elden Ring without lowering settings and it runs smooth as butter. It's very hard to defend this now for me, it's been basically unplayable today even on the lowest settings.
Exactly it worked perfectly fine for me on launch day but the next day after an update it was stuttering and lagging

I have the same problem, played the last closed beta, the first days till yesterday and no issues, today was just unplayable. dunno what they did
same here, ran it on max graphics on my pc and had no issues up until this update, now it doesn’t even run on the lowest possible settings without freezing, but it still runs perfectly fine on my ipad
My pc maybe bit outdated but it still can run Ghost of Tsushima in medium settings just fine, no lag or stuttering, and stable frame rate. It just WW have bad optimization
The game is often being updated because they are doing their best in optimizing the game ASAP. My phone had intense stutters when playing the game but soon after some updates, it got smoother afterwards. They are trying their best to optimize so let's give them time.
I mean yeah sure give them time, but a game should not be released in this state in the first place. What’s the point of releasing a game that more than half the community can’t play.
@@YLWOLFIE I don't have any answers to that though, but they're doing 20+ hotfixes for us and that's good enough along with compensations.
The other problem is that i can't catch up to the events if this keeps on going. It annoys me so much till this days.
most of us have a average to a really good pc build, but it still lags when playing this game. We just have to patiently wait for the devs to fix this, since it is a new game and not properly developed. if they cant fix this prob soon, this game will eventually fall for sure

I have a Pc that ive been using for years thats windows 11. It works super well on genshin and runs super smooth. I havent changed the pc at all, and ive lowered the graphics settings as low as they can go, but this game is practically unplayable for me. The lag and stutter is insane, i was super excited to start it as a break from genshin, but honestly now all the hype is gone. Add that to the fact that the loading screen takes a good 20 mins everytime my internet cuts out and honestly im so done. My internet isnt the problem either becasue it runs genshin at 40 fps just fine, but i played wuwa for an hour and the entire time my fps was between 200-999 and was mostly in the 900 range. Add that to the fact that the game is practically unplayable for me and the free 5 star event ends tomorrow....TvT. Hope they fix this soon.
I have no issues with this on genshin, but on ww no matter the graphics it lags no matter what
My issues are the mouse sensitivity, the camera rotates either facing the sky and the ground whenever I move my mouse. It gave motion sickness. :(
I have the same issue, this is generally caused right after I encounter a frame-freeze for a second or two..

@@starz4you2 This is due the same branch of issues regarding fps drops, the game's mouse sensitivity has an in-built "mouse acceleration" for some odd reason (probably to try to simulate a joystick, or a touchpad), so whenever a frame-freeze happens, mouse acceleration is going to go crazy, making the camera go all the way to stare at the sky or the floor.

Disabling shadows is one thing. For some reason putting those from low to medium doesn´t cost any fps at all to me. What kills me is the vegetation tho. Plants and grass is constantly reloading from the far distance, causing at worst enemies to load very late and spawning right in front of me. It get´s even better tho: The grass has very good physics, but for what? This very well done details costs alot of power for the pc.
I hope there will be a setting where you can turn down vegatation, at best disable it entirely. For anyone reading my comment, try playing in windowed mode on the smallest size possible. I tried full screen with nature display size, or windowed on smallest size with alt+enter to force fullscreen on lower res, but sadly it didn´t help at all to me. Windowed on small size somehow does the trick for me, until the game is optimized a bit better.

It's likely that the four of us have old graphics cards. I know I'm missing DLSS and a few other GPU based options for that reason (GTX1070).
It was working fine for me before the 5th selector apology update. Upside i get a free 5 star downside the game is unplayable again until kuro fixes it

What I did was set the Graphics quality to low, then brightness to 0. Still laggy, but isn't as much as before, having the brightness to 0 gives the game more contrast, therefore making the graphics quality seems like a ps3 game even with it's settings at low. I don't mind it for now, but ya'll should try it. If it doesn't work, I guess we just have to wait for KURO to fix their servers.

i also have a 2050.. just uncap the fps to 120 and update ur nvidia drivers and u should be fine
How many servers do they have in the US? If you’re playing in like Georgia and their servers are in California, it’s obviously going to lag.

so, basically, stuttering always happen in the beginning. when im idle (the characters) it run smoothly, no lag no stuttering, like open the menu and when i moving the camera, its running smoothly (for as long as i didnt move the characters), but when i try to move the characters, its begin to stutter for a few times, then back to normal no lag no stuttering. i wonder whats happen ?
I downloaded all the game files and when I open it, it says that I have to download the files again ????

The primary reason why Wuthering Waves is lagging despite meeting the system requirements is that it is installed on an HDD.
Bull. Installed on SSD with 13th gen I7, 4060, and still lagging. Dev optimization is just incompetent.

Yea nah, I play genshin at almlst always 60 fps, star rail too and then wuthering waves just cant stop with its lag issues, its quite sad cuz I was having an ok opinion on the game...
Im totally playing Wuthering Waves without Graphics Card. But im still waiting for Render Setting so it can run about 30fps or 50fps

ngl i have those settings, have even put like almost everything on low/off too and nothing helped.. also i didnt even lag at all before yesterday/earlier today.... it's super fkn weird, but it might js be an internet problem then idk 😔(everything else is running fine tho)
oh and also the MS(?) sometimes just goes all the way up to 200-700 when it starts lagging really badly (it's usually only for a few seconds but it makes combat just very annoying because i keep getting thrown around, like i'm alr bad at dodging but this just makes it so much worse)
you think 200-700 is bad? try running around in the 900 range on a daily basis. the combat is impossible and exploration is painful
i run cyperpunk on ultra easily but this game freezes every second to the point where its unplayable

This doesn't fix anything btw and the whole video is pointless. No matter how low you turn the settings & resolution, the stuttering and frame drops remain, no matter what.
The .exe you changed was the launcher's executable, and it does absolutely nothing to improve the game's performance. The game's .exe is located in a different folder.
You didn't even show how the game runs after all the changes (because obviously it runs the exact same). Anyways, it's clickbait.
The PC is not the problem, the game is just poorly optimized.I mean my PC can run Ghost of Thusima and RDR2 on the highest settings but not this? The graphics look good, but only anime game good if you know what I mean. It really makes me unintrested. They need to fix this immidiately or they will loose a lot of potential players, its cringe ngl
absolutely agree. Most of the player base (including me), uses pc because its just better, but the optimization is horrid. the game is unplayable because of the lag, even with the graphics lowered and good internet and a good pc

How should i tell you? Straight answer from me, don't play it bro. Just telling okay, the minimum specs are an 9th gen i5 Intel cpu/ryzen counterpart (you passed that), a GTX 1060 (you didnt passed that, even with that Intel Iris graphics), and 16GB of ram (you definitely didnt passed this one too)

even mine is still freezing and lagging so bad that is practically unplayable for when fighting enemies lol.
it's kind of funny that my friend have lower spec than my pc but still load better than mine.

i got a really good pc and it never lags on any game but for some reason it only lags a ton on this game to the point i cant even play and nothing i try can fix it

i fix it just changing resolution then u can put fullscreen and play well if its a laptop with gtx 1660 ti and 8gb, first problem are the shadows anyways u 're not losing at much

My pc using i7 6700 Skylake, zotac GTX 1080p amp extreme, 2 PCs Corsair 16gb ram each it takes around half an hour or more starting from loading screen section untill in game playing (stuttering and freezing menu option) but after that stuttering begins to fade away although sometimes still remain

Thanks but didn't work for me. BTW, is the "Nvidia" and "sharpening" options gpu specific? I am using a Nvidia gtx 1060 laptop and thise options are missing in my game. Played games like sekiro, elden ring with 0 lag or stutter. I even play Genshin and HSR none of which lags at all but in WW, frame randomly freezes, sound and animationa gests unsynced, somtime sound effect plays after the fight has ended. The game is not optimised at all. Hope the devs figure out a solution and fix it soon I like this game but because of all the lag and stuttering I'm almost at the point to droop the game.
Nvidia DLSS is only available to RTX cards to help boost fps and you're using and still on GTX series so can't
