I love watching this guy restore old battered speakers something I've always been passionate about. I couldn't even guess how many pairs I've had over the years but it's great that there is someone out there who can breath new life into something that would probably be on a scrap heap, I have a retro hifi I've been wanting to get fixed for years I can't bring myself to part with it as I know the right person could fix it easily it's just a silly little fault, it switches on but it switches it's self off again never understood why Strange.
Awesome work. Surprised you didn't replace the speaker grille covers though.

Wow DIRGA you did an excellent job.
Those were hard to find! HTV-CI. I purchased one at Sam's Club when they came out in '99. Sound was amazing, specially the virtual surround. I got the one with the bigger woofer. Still to this day it works. Had to replace the sub two times, but AMP is great quality and still kicking! Miss the old days where Pioneer made really high quality audio.
Fine restoration! Please keep it up!

Достойная работа. Несколько жаль, что не стал восстанавливать сколы пластика по углам и перетягивать ткань, да и не совсем аккуратно обклеен пленкой саб, но ведь все приведено в рабочее состояние.
ТЫ ТАК ДУМАЕШЬ, что это достойная работа? Как по мне так отстой полный, все что ты перечислил это и есть самый большой минус, а должен быть плюсом, он делал если для себя, для гаража базар другой, ну он то типа реставрировал, а значит все должно быть так, как из магазина! А еще в роде Пионер, ну вообще не понимаю зачем усилителю металлический каркас в деревянном это раз, во вторых не совсем понятно для чего спереди типа трубы фазоинвертора которая к НЧ ни как не подходит, что за лажа , вот самое интересное?!
Когда видишь в кадре, что "реставрацией" занимается узкоглазый, то лучше вырубай сразу видео.
Сколько раз видел, всегда охуеваю. У них электроника чинится ну вообще просто. Водой помыл, пару раз тестером потыкали где попало и вуаля! Всё работает! Смешно.
Нормально главное зделано с любовью
они рукожопы. А универсальная проверка электроники прозвонкой эт ваще для лохов, видимо, расчитано

I have a samsung max-810 that sound does not work and volume not appear neither. It have a STK 4147v stereo amplifier, it can maybe be the issue?

these early home theatre in a boxes experimented with only having the center channel and sub. but that fell out of favor with dolby digital with discreet channels pretty quickly. Pioneer also sold a similar one with a more traditional 12" cube subwoofer

Love the repair. Just don't forget to check the CAPACITORS sometimes they short internally and overload and blow up components
Has anyone figured out why in almost every repair video on stereos he has to replace the finals and transistors and resistors and capacitors? It’s because whoever owned these devices over drive them with too much equipment hooked up to them that’s why.
I don’t know if you know this or not but when you apply superglue to wood it gives off cyanide gas!

I’m amazed how he just happens to have every part and every peice in stock and in professional terms cheats at restoring these products by spray painting over parts that have rust on them in professional terms a true and professional restoration would involve REMOVING THE RUST FIRST BEFOR SPRAY PAINTING IT OVER AGAIN. In professional terms you CANNOT SPRAY PAINT OVER PARTS THAT ARE RUSTED THE RUST MUST BE REMOVED BECUSE IT WILL EAT THROUGH THE PAINT AND MAKE IT POP OFF FROM THE SURFACE.
They are probably a well prepared person. They already have the parts just in case if they come across certain parts they will already have them.

If you're an amplifier builder like me that custom builds amplifiers and also works on them I strip old boards from all sorts of electronic products household appliances & More so that I always have parts. And if you work on a lot of amplifiers you will always have leftover parts some amplifiers cannot be repaired because the parts are to old or hard to find or they might be obsolete parts.❤
Some parts are obsolete there is nothing wrong with using used amplifier parts as long as they work and are up to datasheet specification values ❤
Everything in your household has transistors caps diodes transformers that is electronic that is I'd rather use an old genuine transistor then a fake remanufactured aftermarket part anybody that works on electronics knows there's a lot of fake parts out the.....
Дааа, достойный ремонт. Потыкал в рандомных местах мультиметром. Затем для красоты картинки взял стрелочный мультиметр и такой типа "я все знаю, я ремонтник" просто тыкает по транзисторам. И какой ремонтник будет паять убогим паяльником, ну это крах. Видео из разряда "мы взяли рабочую технику, извазюкали в грязи, помыли мылом, и она теперь работает"
