It takes roughly 30 sheep to make a batt, as a median figure. It depends on the size of the sheep and how often they are sheared. About 1 large sheep=1 medium lightweight sweater. The wool needs to be cleaned, combed and processed to remove lanolin. Sheep do not enjoy being sheared, it is usually a fairly violent process. The sheep will have many small cuts and they look miserable afterwards. She needs a ladder. Those solar panels will have to be cleaned regularly. Having dirty solar panels drops the power output significantly.
10:00 panels with black backings/ and frames actually get way hotter than the typical panels with white backing and bare metal frame. So although what you got there theoretically can make the rated wattage in ideal sun, at the right angle for that season, and in cool temperatures, once they start to heat up, you will have massive losses in energy production. *If you want powerful panels that defeat this flaw somewhat look into bifacial farmless solar panels. they have transparent backings that also looks black on black without that overheating issue*
Dude, there's no way freaking that's only 2 sheep, unless the sheep are the size of a Tesla. Also, compostable insulation? Exactly what I want in my walls.
Great job so far but had to say it.... You should have sprayed closed cell foam. Do all your plumbing and electrical then when you are ready to put up walls take it to a spray foam shop and let them knock it out. When you drive an RV your house is going through a constant earth quake. That crap is going to fall in the wall and essentially won't help do anything. Spray foam just requires good masking and a steady hand. A foam shop will have the heated guns that will lay up the foam really quick. Running conduit instead of bare wire will give you the ability to extend the system after you spray foam. It's still fun watching you guys figure this out as you go. Keep it up!
Now you just need to put some "plausible deniability stickers" on the side of the side of the van. I say we call the fake company "Rusty Pipes Plumbing Co."
