1:00 I live in Southern Ontario, and know someone who works in national defense. This sound IS accurate, all-be-it modified. It's a CLM Siren, they were placed all over the country during the cold war, but most of them were removed sometime in the mid 2000s to late 2010s. However some still remain in larger cities like Ottawa and Toronto.
I agree. My most favourite air raid siren over here is the French one. But can anyone tell me what is the model of this siren as I cannot find this same sound in other French Air Raid Sirens.
Sweden: 7/10 - Ship horns Poland: 15/10 - Very scary Canada: 20/10 - NUCLEAR SIREN AAAAA France: 50/10 - IF YOU HEAR THIS THEN THIS IS THE END OF THE WORLD ☠☠☠☠☠ Germany: 10/10 - Scary Denmark: 3/10 - LALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALA XDDDDD China: 30/10 - HOLY SHIT THATS HAUNTED Mexico: 6/10 - Kinda scary Finland: 7/10 Scary United Kingdom: 100/10 WW2 SIRENS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
10. I live in the United Kingdom, and didn't even realise we had a Nuclear early warning siren: I thought warnings were issued via mainstream news and radio outlets, like the BBC....If I heard this siren, I'd probably say 'MEH, WWII activists playing at 39-45 games!' 8 minutes later, I'd be fooked! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Do they never test your sirens? I searched for this video now because I live in Sweden and we have tests every first Monday of the month at 3pm, or I think they changed it to every third month or something
As terrifying as all these sounds are, Sweden's nuclear attack warning sounds like the horn of some alien death machine which somehow freaks me out even more
well its a Nuclear alert.. it should sound like that :P Because the Area that hears these sirens will experience something thats very close to the end of the world very soon.
Sweden: 7/10 horns Poland: 5/10 regular siren Canada: 10/10 OH MY GOSH France: 5/10 similar to Poland Germany: 7/10 sounds like Israel air raid siren Denmark: 3/10 you must make the nuhgies China: 10/10 RUN Mexico: 3/10 dying siren Finland: 9/10 LAWD United Kingdom: 10/10 GOODNESS NOT THE UK!
as a person who lives in Germany and heard the sound of test alarm, I can confirm that THAT SHIT IS CREAPE AF, I GOT A F- HEARTH ATTACK WHILE HEARING THIS
Yes. Germany for example uses the same siren for everything but the intervals are different each time. Makes them easy to remember. But we didnt have a Nuclear Warning test in ages... just general Warning Sirens. 3x 12 seconds segments with 12 second Pause inbetween means a Firefighter alert not adressed to the general Public. 1 Minute long Siren: Turn on the Radio and/or TV and listen to public announcements. Preferably close all doors and Windows and get inside somewhere ASAP if your outside it could be dangerous very very soon where you are. If you see people outside urge them to come inside. If the Country is at War this is also the Airraid Siren (but many people dont even know that anymore). there is an ABC Alert (for Nukes, Chemical or Biological dangers and the likes) but i didnt hear that one in a long time. I guess if Germany would officially got to War they would use that in Test Alerts again :P and finally we have the 1 Minute long siren with no variation during the Duration meaning all previous Alerts are lifted and its save to go Outside again.
