My experience-The pain came afterwards for me. I got the stomach done and it caused pretty severe pain that Advil/Tylenol couldn’t even begin to relieve 2 to 3 weeks after treatment. I Couldn’t sleep during that time due to the discomfort. It was like nerve pain. I also was SO swollen in the area afterwards, I certainly didn’t see good results, if ever really. I just wouldn’t recommend anyone to do coolsculpting. I would research another option. I had it done at age 48. I am 51, 5’7”, 133 pounds and workout 6 days per week for reference. Tried to get rid of the stubborn collected fat, but would never do cool sculpting again ever.

I‘ve tried it on my back fat. The experience itself was not that bad, although it was very uncomfortable to lay down on my belly without moving for 90 minutes and the skin gets really numb and cold, but it doesn’t really hurt itself. The massage afterwards hurts! No whitewash here, but for a few minutes you can manage the pain and then it’s over. So far, so good. The next 2 or 3 weeks the skin was reaaaaallly sensitive. I couldn’t even lotion it, and after all it did absolutely NOTHING! 😂 It costs 400,00 Euros, which is not that much, but for nothing it’s too much. I couldn’t recommend it not because it’s unhealthy or whatsoever, but doesn’t shrink anything! So save your money for a real liposuction! ❤

There are risks to any cosmetic procedure, no matter how "easy/simple" it may appear.
You have to weigh the risk-benefit because a physician will usually downplay the risk. Before proceeding, you have to assure yourself the benefit clearly outweighs the risk.

Thanks, Annemiek, for the comment about the scientists' conclusion. I agree with you. I wish Paige good health and results from this procedure. Thanks to Dominique for presenting it. Anyone wanting to have a medical procedure should research the company, statistical studies and the science, plus other available information. Final decision is up to you. I understand the (mental health) benefits about trying procedures to help a person feel better about their body image. I was overweight for a number of years since menopause, but have followed the ketovore/carnivore diet the past 8 1/2 months and have lost at least 45 lbs, and there is now very little fat on my abdomen (and elsewhere). Perhaps abdominal exercise can tone that. (I understand that every body is different, so results will vary when changing eating habits.) As a 71 year old, there is some loose skin, but I feel better than I have ever felt as a 20- or 30-year old. No inflammation and pre-diabetes is gone. Food should be used as fuel and not entertainment, in my opinion. I recommend enjoying living/activity and not living to eat, because what we eat can cause fat increase, inflammation, and other serious health issues. I look forward to seeing Paige's success video in a few months. Thank you.

I had minimal pain after the treatment and it took me 6 to 8 months to see permanent results. I absolutely love the fact, though that it got rid of that little fat role that nothing else would work on.

You should be extremely careful with those activities!
Your body will output all broken cells through the liver.
SO you need to be fully sure your liver and gall bladder are ok.

Had it done for double chin once - saw nothing change perhaps it takes more than one session. I didn’t experience any pain - the area was just numb for a few hours after. I think certain procedures will work for certain people and not for others. It depends on the laxity if the skin, how much fat there is etc

Something about this seems like a bad idea on many levels. Too good to be true and there's no such thing as a quick fix come to mind along with the much publicized case in the news a few years ago when this type of procedure went terribly wrong. I'm all for looking our best but being comfortable with our bodies' natural changes and learning to love oneself seems like a much healthier approach.

I had CS done on my upper belly first, because perimenopause was disproportionately thickening my waist. I would have never done it as a younger woman. Diet and exercise, and loving my unique shape were plenty enough. Losing my shape due to reasons beyond lifestyle measures was another situation.
The results were great. Regained my modest hourglass.
So, I went back for the lower belly and lovehandles. Results were less happy. Still have that mother pooch, but it bothers me less because it's more from motherhood. Lovehandles still there, but I was told they're also due to muscle.
All in all, I'm glad I got this procedure.

I add another possible risk for people having a risk of having a fatty liver (NAFL). They always recommend a few treatments..it’s a lot for the liver to take on and process. Been there..One, the liver will get worse and you can gain weight afterwards and not understand why. The processing of the body fat is not being understood enough and is probably a missing link. Honestly, had two areas done x3 following recommandations..made but a little difference for a Lot of money on thighs. I do not recommend. The areas treated don’t always show progress. . Also, underchin, can leave loose skin depending on age and weight. The face piece sucks skin very strongly and stretches it. Sometimes, it stays a bit saggy. That was my experience.
