It seems like the judges didn’t understand that but DM and Vadim still want the votes to count in that way even though not everyone was no the same page

In my view DemonMama clearly won the debate, but Destiny won the post debate shitshow, DM flip flopped a lot and came across pretty petty in general. First, clearly Destiny would've won the debate (the judge that swayed the revote to Destiny proved that he would've put Destiny second if Dylan had used that point system thing and explained it, so Destiny kinda deserved to win the first one and won the second revote). Secondly, if Vadim really *just* wanted to set the record straight, then this would've been over in 5 minutes with Vadim saying he didn't change his vote, but his second choice would have been Destiny. So for example, the whole reason self diagnosis was a topic in the debate was because Destiny went on a two hour long rant picking apart and misinterpreting everything DemonMama had said in a clip from her stream. She fully fleshed out the overall point she was making at the time and it really wasn't anything controversial. This was all covered in the debate, when Destiny essentially walked back every criticism he initially made, about how irresponsible and wrong her advice was, down to a pretty limp semantic point and everyone ended up agreeing to the larger point. That's generally how a lot of arguments go with people that already don't like each other for whatever reason. Both parties end up arguing with what it kinda sorta sounds like the other person might be saying, rather than what they are trying to get across, even when it's the exact same thing. And whether intentionally or not, Destiny is a master at this. When I said DemonMama clearly won the debate, I don't mean according to the judges decisions, I just meant in my opinion. I felt like her arguments throughout the debate (but not the aftermath), were the most logical and consistent out of the final three. I can see why her rhetoric irritates a lot of people though. I would have liked to have seen more of LonerBox honestly, his content and general demeanour resonates with me a lot.

The thing that frustrated me the most about this is that on countless occasions DM would tell Dylan it's his show therefore it's his call on what should be done, but whenever Dylan presented a possible solution DM wouldn't like it. This has been the best content in a while holy shit. We've got Dylan trying to turn it into WWE, Danabo (the mastermind?) who started all this shit, CTV who for some reason someone let loose to join the call, Destiny throwing shit in the pot, Demon Mama who progressively got more and more upset, and Vadim who just went from one bad decision to the next.
That was one hell of a stream. Destiny went to Zerkha's podcast after the Hippy Dippy Drama, which is one whole fiasco in and of itself.
Dylan is trying so hard to recreate the Montreal Screwjob but he just can't be his own Vince. He's too much of a good guy. In the end he turns it into a cringefest.

In my view DemonMama clearly won the debate, but Destiny won the post debate shitshow, DM flip flopped a lot and came across pretty petty in general. I felt really bad for Vadim though, like the way Dylan said "oh, Vadim changed his vote, looks like destiny wins!". Regardless of who should or shouldn't have won, that must have made him feel so guilty. He just wanted to clarify that it wasn't his fuck up and then Destiny started coming at him, can't blame him for wanting to set the record strait. Destiny does this twisty mischaracterisation thing all the time, that's how he gets under peoples skin so much.

First, clearly Destiny would've won the debate (the judge that swayed the revote to Destiny proved that he would've put Destiny second if Dylan had used that point system thing and explained it, so Destiny kinda deserved to win the first one and won the second revote). Secondly, if Vadim really *just* wanted to set the record straight, then this would've been over in 5 minutes with Vadim saying he didn't change his vote, but his second choice would have been Destiny. That one judge would've had to explain his lack of understanding for the ranked choice (also, in that clip it seemed like he wanted Destiny as first choice? idk I might've misheard that), and then it would be over. Destiny was totally right in pointing out that Vadim seemed to be acting in the interest of DM here, because the revote only proves that the judges really did want Destiny > DM, so then Vadim wanted to switch back to the first vote where one of the voters didn't understand.

So for example, the whole reason self diagnosis was a topic in the debate was because Destiny went on a two hour long rant picking apart and misinterpreting everything DemonMama had said in a clip from her stream. She fully fleshed out the overall point she was making at the time and it really wasn't anything controversial. This was all covered in the debate, when Destiny essentially walked back every criticism he initially made, about how irresponsible and wrong her advice was, down to a pretty limp semantic point and everyone ended up agreeing to the larger point. That's generally how a lot of arguments go with people that already don't like each other for whatever reason. Both parties end up arguing with what it kinda sorta sounds like the other person might be saying, rather than what they are trying to get across, even when it's the exact same thing. And whether intentionally or not, Destiny is a master at this.
When I said DemonMama clearly won the debate, I don't mean according to the judges decisions, I just meant in my opinion. I felt like her arguments throughout the debate (but not the aftermath), were the most logical and consistent out of the final three. I can see why her rhetoric irritates a lot of people though. I would have liked to have seen more of LonerBox honestly, his content and general demeanour resonates with me a lot.

The thing that frustrated me the most about this is that on countless occasions DM would tell Dylan it's his show therefore it's his call on what should be done, but whenever Dylan presented a possible solution DM wouldn't like it. Like ???? Dylan's willing to schedule another debate with DM and Destiny another day, but then that doesn't satisfy her. Then, another option was presented which was to do a re-vote, which DM + Vadim and everyone else agreed to...but then when the votes weren't in DM's favor all of a sudden that wasn't good enough either? Most people are arguing how Vadim, CTV or even Destiny made the situation worse when in reality DM was the one who made this way more complicated than it needed to be. If DM was really as 'chill' as she claimed to be she wouldn't have made such a big fuss over almost every single solution Dylan presented to her. Also, this drama could have been cut down to like 10 minutes if Dylan just stated "Hey, these are the options available. Either reschedule a debate or re-vote. If you don't want to do any of those, then Destiny will just remain the champion". Done.

Ive delt with people like this before. Ive been in insanely toxic relationships with people like this. Its really disturbing that so many people cant recognize it.

She says stuff like how she cares about dylan and his show, if that was true she wouldnt do this at all, after the second vote she could just take the L and say okay there was misunderstanding but its figured out, see you next time guys. But no, she just continues with vadim going back and forth on how they care about the show while saying that its unfair. What that will do? how that helps the show? it just polarizes people, make them shit on dylan and put him into stressful position...

Lol so this is what happened. Danabo's original list was for who he wanted to KICK. So he wanted to kick hunter, then DM, then Destiny. Danabo's first choice was ACTUALLY Destiny all along, so if we're trying to be honest and fair, Destiny would have won outright in the first round of voting.
It's like, yeah, Demonmama DID accept the loss... But she only accepted it when it seemed like she had no grounds to challenge it at all... "Accepting defeat" isn't really a noble act when it's basically the only option for someone who doesn't go with some sort of irrational response as the alternative...
