I just realized today that I can add notes to my kindle books, and obviously I have the Bible as a kindle book so I just highlight words and phrases and add my notes that way when I don't have my Bible with me! What a game changer!
I think I’ll always prefer a physical paper Bible because I like the feeling of physically highlighting and writing but this is such an innovative idea and so so perfect for traveling light. So awesome. God bless you all!
I have been using this for 6 months now and it’s the best bible I’ve ever had. I use it in notability, which is my favorite writing software on iPad. What is also cool is how you can do word searches in the Bible I order to find Old Testament quotes in context or do deep word studies.
Hi Jason, I use OneNote free on my iPad, and it does everything you were doing. I just copy and paste the Bible chapter I’m working on into a page & annotation and draw, text, circle or insert pics etc. it’s great, I’m new to it so I’m still learning, love it so far.

I’m so used to Jason wrecking his Bible with new pens... so I don’t really know how to feel that he’s not wrecking his ipad. Just kidding. Jason makes me wanna buy everything... even another apple pencil worth the half the price of all the pens I have for my Bible Journaling pens & supplies. ♥️ Might have this so that when I travel in other countries where Bibles arent allowed. In that way, I can still have Alone time with God wherever I go with a tablet and apple pen.

Joe Jackson I don’t think Crossway offers a product like the Digital Scripture Journal for the ESV Study Bible as of now, but you can get the ESV Study Bible in Logos and keep notes and highlights on the study bible in the same way you’d be able to take notes on other commentaries in Logos. Of course, that’s not the same as the Digital Scripture Journal because you can’t just take an Apple Pencil to it and go to town. 😔
It's not just for Apple devices, it's a PDF so you can use it with any PDF app. This article from Crossway mentions some, there aren't any chromeOS ones but it does mention Android apps which should run on ChromeOS www.crossway.org/articles/10-apps-to-use-with-your-esv-digital-scripture-journal/

It holds the camera he uses for shots from above. That way he can film his ipad or Bible for example as he uses them
Depending on the app you use, you should also be able to search your handwritten notes too 👍

Jason is there a good KJV pdf version similar to the ESV you have shown.
Have you had any problems with this journal? Mine keeps crashing and super slow to load. I use the Apple Pencil and iPad Pro.
