There is or was a guy who bought an Audi e Tron who found a number if faults in it and tried to get a refund. They refused so he began making videos advising people to never ever ever buy Audi e Tron. Audi saved 100 G but lost millions to people who wanted to buy an Audi but after they saw these videos ran away and bought .... TESLA ha ha ha ha ,(I don't own a Tesla, nor have shares)

Just received a dealer offer on mine for a trade-in I'm thinking about doing after owning it for 7, almost 8 years and depreciation is similar with what I would expect from a ICE car of the same age. In my situation, I used it everywhere I needed everyday I needed it. As a bonus, the car paid itself almost twice in gas savings with the mileage I did.

Manhiem absolutely sucks lately. They have no competition so they can get away with higher fees, poor customer service, and the most inconsistent and biased inspection/condition reports. Some viewers might think that you are being petty/bitchy about them dropping the ball, but their mistakes cost you thousands of dollars and your time. No one at these auctions takes pride in their work and their bias for only the top volume sellers is now not even hidden. I'm THIS close to just being done with the auctions and buying only off the street. The selling prices on the street may be $1,000 higher, but after fees, transport, and less risk (since you can inspect it more), it's actually a better deal. Plus you get the title right away.

That Lexus SC400 was a STEAL! I remember my mom taking me with her to the Toyota dealership when I was a kid around 1999 and she test drove a new Solara first, then a Celica, then a used 94 or 95 SC400 that I guess was a trade-in and I thought it was cooler than both the other new ones lol - I think they denied her credit at the time because she came home with a 92 Chevy Cavalier Z24 the next day 😂

I used to valet park cars back in the late 80s and early 90s. The sc400 and sc300 were my absolute favorites. Quiet and fast. It was when Lexus was brand new. I remember getting into LS 400s and couldn’t believe how quiet. If I remember correctly when you open the door the steering wheel tilted up and in automatically to make it easier to get into and out of the car.

    Craig,
It's not rocket science mate. The Audi EV is a rapidly depreciating asset and you've two options:
    - suck up the lost value and keep it as a personal family car
    OR
    - meet the market, advertise it for $55,000 and offer low cost Finance, Insurance, and Care Plan and hope to pick up some dealer commissions from these add-on items
You keep it longer, You lose.
    You gotta clear it asap.
Warmest Regards - David from Melbourne, Australia

They are 95k and up here in Canada and mostly well over 100k. No point in buying a car and dumping it after a year or two. I keep cars for a long time so not much of a depreciation hit. My oldest one is a mint white 2010 S4 with 455hp and a monster daily driver. The last 2 911's were sold for a bit more than cost. One after 2 yrs and the other after 5 yrs. That etron could be driven for 10 years plus. Audi uses separate cells that can be replaced according to their website. My current modern type 911s is worth more than what I paid in 2020. A fool would be $4700 per month on a 42 month lease for this 911. I have no loans on any cars.

Audi and Porsche definitely need to rethink their pledge to go all EV in the near future. The EV has its place for some people but these manufacturers that believe that they consumers will drive the EV market to even 50% in the near future are simply in for a massive wake-up call. EV's aren't even 10% of the market in new vehicle sales and demand has fallen off a cliff. In addition, the massive depreciation isn't going unnoticed by new car buyers and also shows just how little faith people have in buying a car powered by a used battery.

The Lexus was a real good buy, as to the Audi; they are called "toys" for a reason. I bet you are going to get clipped for another $650 to repair those wheels. Glad I am in the meat & potatoes end of car biz. IMHO, without a MMR and doing the marketing the right way, selling this unit would be tough. The Manheim sale at Bordentown N.J. or Manheim, PA might be the best place the sell the Audi. Lot's of deep pockets and export buyers who love exotics.

Those high end EV,s seem to be depreciating by around 50% in the first year and then the depreciation just seems to keep ongoing. Porsche tycans are droppeinglike a stone, some are nearly unsaleable. I would take a 20-25 loss and move it on before its worth nothing. A tycan battery is over 50k to replace, Audi must be similar as they are the same platform
