Wow I’m so glad you found this, I watched this as it was happening and I had forgotten about it! She has such a classic sultry voice you need to check out her other performances!
Live performance, natural voice with no electronic modifications, in front of experienced judges, and with no professional training. This is perfection. Alice Fredenham, sung, under duress, an absolutely perfect version of ‘My Funny Valentine’. The best version on the planet, ever. If she cannot sing, then Sinatra, and Buble would be embarrassed with their versions of this song.
Alice is truly amazing and certainly impressed the world with her sensual and captivating voice ! Anyone who thinks otherwise is likely tone deaf.
Alice reminds me so much of Billy Holiday
This was the most sultry, sensual performance by someone with very little
training in music as she delivers an outstanding rendition of 'My Funny Valentine'.
The current one by Angelina Jordan is the only one I preferred but you have to
give 'props' to Alice, for she was spectacular. Her follow up singing wasn't as
good as this but could have been had they set her up with a bettter song.

The reason for Alice's stage fright was because she took her whole family to The Voice of Britain and got no chairs turned and Will I Am gave her a bad review! I am glad she got up the courage to audition for BGT! She didn't bring her family or let them know of the audition before hand because she didn't want to go through that embarrassment again in front of them! I love Alice and her singing!

I purchased her album and it is truly very special with some unusual but brilliant cover version, Paul McCartney , Paul Weller to name but two. Love her so much such a shame she vanished, She released her album independently via Crowdfunding and I think the pressure was too much. Great choice to react too,

Unfortunately Alice couldn't overcome her stagefreight. In her next performance she forgot some words and knew it. It was such a sad night. I know Simon did try and help her out and I think she may still be singing but the break she needs hasn't happened yet.
They aren't clapping because they're ensared by her voice. She is my beautiful magic weaver from Scotland. All time favorite singer, Simon is wrong her voice is not liquid gold it is liquid magic weaving spells that ensare your mind and teleports it to the 1930s and 20s and soothes the heart and soul. Sadly she was kicked off the show because before coming here she tried out for the UKs voice.
Anyways, check out her video I only have eyes for you video, that will send you straight to 1937 in a music bar with her on the stage behind a big round Mike in a dark blue and sliver dress with men sitting at tables smoking cigars and the bar tender serving scotch and brandy and a pianist in the corner playing. I guarantee you.
She did not get though in the Voice !
