Hadn't seen this video in a long while. It has captivated me since first viewing because both Tracey & Ben appear animated and relaxed. Quite the contrast to how they appeared circa 1996-97 touring for 'Acoustic' (think that's right); the one and only time I've seen them perform live, and in the States on The University of Texas at Austin campus, no less. I was agog the whole time watching, listening to them perform in an intimate auditorium, densely filled, wishing I could suspend that moment for, well, an _Eden_.
They'd been through so much at the time: Ben's illness and I only learnt of Tracey's long battle with live performing and stage fright recently. Explains why I felt like putting my arms round them, ushering them to safety and free flowing air. Understandably, there are reasons Tracey - aside from raising a family, continuing to record, and penning two books - hasn't performed live in 15 years. Hearing EBTG live; touching Tracey's arm, seeing her shyly smile at me as the couple walked up the center aisle toward the exit is a moment I will never forget. There are other performers who've affected me in some deeply personal way, but it's Tracey's unrivaled lyrical stylings that have been a source of inspiration, reflection, and impishly cynical humour through many bad and good times over the years.

Long white dress is incredible! And hormones is pretty good and catchy too. Come on home to me gives a good dark note to the album. That makes 6 very good songs out of 10 not many pop albums have this high level - but again, it's a matter of taste.
