The most beautiful song in years. Takes me back in time and fills me with happiness and sadness at the same time. Reaching out to touch something you can't grasp I'm full of emotion.
I had to come back and find your quote after seeing it yesterday. I went to my brother's funeral yesterday and came back to an empty flat searching for something to fill the hole and make sense of the day. Found myself playing this tune over and over after falling in love with it over a year ago. Reading through the comments , I found yours and it was the closest thing that fitted the day. Thinking about my bros, looking back through time filling me with happiness and sadness at the same time. Reaching out trying to grasp something, ( someone ) I can't touch any more. The feeling of euphoria one feels when an album as thrilling as 'What's Your Pleasure' comes along is such a tremendous treat. There have only been a few times in my life that an artist has captured me in this way. What an incredible piece of work. A year ago I did not know who Jessie Ware was - today I wouldn't want to live without her music.
This single, and the album as a whole, are simply intoxicating - honey drenched disco with vocals that epitomise the best of Jessie Ware’s extraordinary talent. Sublime!
So lovely - and so painful, all at once. I have done this - so many times. Walking the city alone - sometimes with music (singing to myself, humming along), sometimes just meditating on my surroundings, sometimes utterly lost in my own inner world. Walking and pausing and walking... Aware of my aloneness - aware that I am surrounded by millions of people. Part of the stillness - the quietude. Waiting for the dawn that feels like it will never come - knowing that it always will. Filled with unspeakable relief when it finally arrives...

In all honesty when this came on the radio I thought this was a classic gem from the 70s that I'd missed. Surprised to see this is new a release and what a great song!
While I truly loved the whole album, this song specifically helped me thru some really dark times last year. I’ve cried so much listening to this song because I feel like the song’s message to be grateful you’re alive and to live life to the fullest because you don’t know how much time you have left. Perfect video to a perfect song.
Wow, this video is so simple, but it hit me so hard. The only time I visited London was when I was a teen. I won a short trip to the UK and it was my first time traveling out of the border of my, at the time, still very politically unstable and poor country, first time on a plane too. It was like being dropped from the sky into a whole different reality. I remember walking the very same streets and parks in awe just feeling the energy of the place, sights and people. There is also one person very dear to me that I associate with the city and I've always imagined myself going back for us to meet again. Once I grow up, once things get better, when I self-actualize. It would be a full circle closed. This video is like a reminder to that old promise I haven't kept, or a reminder that I haven't reached my full potential yet. And just as Gemma is Jessie's twin here, and even though we tend to see ourselves in the people we love, maybe the only thing I will meet there one day is myself and everything I used to be and all who I've become. And maybe, just maybe, it's just around the corner. Beautiful, hopeful track. Thank you. ♥

Ahhhh this is beautiful Jessie. I do love Gemma as well, excellent choice! ❤️ so pleased we finally get this as a single! 😍
I LOVE the rhythm and melody. Vocals are intoxicating. What beautiful sounds like. Thanks for appearing on The Tonight Show.
Perfection. So beautiful and invoked memories of happy times as well as the sadness in the stillness of this period in our lives xx
I love this song! It plays a lot on the radio in Sweden where I live.
this song and the album are pure perfection!
This song!! I love the retro feel, it has such a great vibe. Goosebumps!!
In all honesty when this came on the radio I thought this was a classic gem from the 70s that I'd missed. Surprised to see this is new a release and what a great song!
I can see people beautifully roller skating to this
While I truly loved the whole album, this song specifically helped me thru some really dark times last year. I’ve cried so much listening to this song because I feel like the song’s message to be grateful you’re alive and to live life to the fullest because you don’t know how much time you have left.
Perfect video to a perfect song.
Come back to yourself is the best feeling ever.
Fantastic song, set in the greatest city in the world 🇬🇧
God bless London and God save the Queen!
Was the greatest city.
@@TheOrangep7sadly you’re right mate 🥺🇬🇧
It’s a brilliant song , I can picture the 5th dimension singing it back in 1970, this is timeless 👌
I can picture chaeyoung walking through the Seoul city listening to this masterpiece, this song could easily transform your sorrow to happiness. 🙌🏾🍓🦋
Thank you. ♥
This girl is so good and the people driving her forward are so smart. This is such a good song! Omg. Blown.
Jessica Ware and Gemma Arterton 😍🥰😍😻
