Saw them in the 90s for $2. I had never heard of them. The following day I went out and bought everything they had put out at that point. It's hard to tell by looking at him, but Dug is 73 years old.
This video has nothing to do with KING's X - even though Doug is in it, it involves various other people. So how about making a comment about Twisted Sister or the original Cactus?
Just revisited the Widowmaker version from 1992. Dee Snider, Al Pitrelli gui, Marc Russell bass and Joey Franco drums. Hard hitting. Also checked out the original written by Willie Dixon and recorded by Howlin' Wolf. Dixon died in 1992. Howlin' Wolf in 1976. RIP

I grew up in the same neighborhood where Jim Mcarty lives. He’s a legend! His son Dylan and I became friends in Jr High and still to this day. We even formed a band for a hot minute with Dylan on drums and I played bass.
I care brother, Jim and Dylan are great guys and great musicians. I saw Jim a few weeks ago and he said this was coming out, I'm blown away by it and hope it gets the boys great success. I love this!
Showing just how it's done... Dee nails this with pure powwwer, Dug digs deeeep into the pocket, Carmine pounds the pocket tighter... and Jim? Well, that tone says it all, a master! Kickin' ass and representing the names that came before while proving that CACTUS still ROCKS!!! FANFUCKINTASTIC!!!👋

Oh wow! So great to see music from Willie Dixon made famous by the legendary Howlin' Wolf (1954) renewed in such an amazing way. Dee and dUg knocked this one out of the park. Thank you for bringing this music to a new generation 😎
@@MichaelSmith-ti9th oddly enough that you think I'm 67 years old when this song is 70 years old (this song dates back to the early 1950s) and is truly classic Blues song. Rola de la banda Widowmaker, super grupo que perdió en los noventas con la llegada del grunge, esa si es una banda underated, discazo con agrupación de lujo, Snider, Pitrelli, Francco y compañía.

I love King's X since their first Album. Twisted Sister is not really my cup of tea, but Dee Snider is a great Rock Singer. By the way….. that's a song from Monster Magnet featured on their 1993 Album "Superjudge". Check it out. An really cool version 👌
Rola incluida en el disco Blood And Bullets de la banda Widowmaker, grupazo subvaluado de principio de los noventas, Snider, Pitrelli, Franco y Villano formaban aquel supergrupo desaparecido por la llamarada de petate del Grunge. Discazo recomendado! Mejor que los de King’s X.
Jim McCarty sounds great! Talk about underrated guitarists, he's a force
Cactus was way underrated early 70's.. they played Memphis and people loved them and then they did a free show a day later
As long as McCarty and Appice are still alive and kickin ass on drums and guitar---that's Cactus enough for me!
Respect to Dee Snyder , He did a Great Job !!
Jim McCarty is one of the greatest guitar players . He never got the recognition he deserved.
I agree 👍
Because he stayed in Detroit and didn't go "hollywood" like lots of others...
His band The Rockets were underrated too🎶
Jimmy's a soft spoken, modest guy, a true bluesman who never got caught up in the phony rock star bullshit. He never went looking for attention.
Ted Nugent even admits he got his wildness from Jim McCarty
How killer is this!?! Unexpected.
👍😃
Rusty Day is rocking and rolling with this cut!
Long Live CACTUS !!!!
King's X was one of the most underrated progressive rock bands of the late 80s and 90s.... 👍💯
They're still touring and kicking ass.

Dee's been getting around lately. The Walter Trout track a month ago, now this. MOAR Dee! This is a great track.

Yep, sounds like Cactus alright. Good job, Dee. Sure wish we could get Carmine's and Tim's backup vocals.
Your name is Terry Cox?
Sounds great go out on tour Carmine
Dee Snider. Um so oller um so doller!!!
YES!!
Great song
I remember the original version of this song by Widiwmaker, Dee Sniders band he formed in the early 90s
🤩
Super Dee ✴️🔝
Love Cactus, Love McCarty, Apiece, and LOVE RUSTY!!!!!! Dee does a great job for Rusty.

ampeg scrambled as sure as eggs is eggs
Awesome🤘
Sonically sounds reminiscent of Led Zep's debut album with the vibe of Montrose. Well done!
Not really.
Actually it is the other way around . Bonham was influenced by Carmine and even copied his idea of using bigger drums than normal sizes .
Such a shame McCarty never got his due.

Nowhere near the original 😵💫
Haha, Led Zep lifted stuff from others so now it's karma time. Or did Cactus lift this from whoever Led Zep lifted it from, went right to the source?
I hope Cleopatra didnt pay for this , if so they deserve a refund.
Freddie Mercury, Rob, Halford, Doug Pinnick. It’s a shame.

Dee Snider is good, but I prefer Rusty Day's nasty/snarling vocal rendition. Good to see Jim McCarty.

True that. His sound has crushed it for 40 years .
