Really, really glad to see that the Greywardens still play a huge role. Been always hoping for an independent Greywarden game (feels like they have a rich story for a game release) but hopefully this one dives deeper into their lore and exploration.
@@reubenhall5218 I meant more than that lol. Origins is the very sole reason of my wishful thinking for a full-pledge series focusing on the history and journey of the Greywardens :)
@@reecedactyl Already did and Origins is specifically my point of having an intended, independent game series for the lore of the Greywardens alone, their march on how they stem outwards and all the untold hellish journey that they have to do and sacrifice in order to keep the Darkspawn at bay.
I hope we'll also get to see more of the Anderfels, always wanted to know what the Wandering Hills look like~ The shown locations are looking great so far!
I really hope the Grey Warden from DA Origins comes back, or at least has a full explanation for what happened during their search for the cure for the calling.
At the time "Inquisition" came out, they said that they were not going to bring back the Hero of Ferelden in the same way they did Hawke, because in too many people's playthroughs, s/he was dead. That's why they brought back Alistair/ Loghain instead. As well, they felt it would be awkward, as the Hero never had a true voice actor (even if they kind of did, depending on which voice you chose for exclamations). Then again, they also gave us a cool idea of what DA 4 was going to be like, with a kind of Exalted March on Orlais and Ferelden from the Qunari in response to letting magic run wild to the point that they ripped a hole in the sky; and now we're just getting a Solas story (which, for me, is probably the most boring route they could have chosen); so maybe they'll change their mind on that too.
Great news! As long as you guys don't crunch to just meet the deadlines and instead pour every time that's needed to perfect your work I'm all up for it ❤
Instead they've rebuilt the game twice, fired a bunch of writers and others working on it, and have swapped directors 3 times. Considering Bioware hasn't made a good game since Mass Effect 3 I have no faith in this game.

Just like you can express your opinion, so can they. You literally just arrived at the IP a year ago...those of us who have been along for the many ups and even more downs have been getting the rug yanked out from under us for a decade, so the skepticism is deserved.
And Solas was never seen or heard from again. The end.

I think we saw some wandering hills in the trailer Varric Narrated. In the show with the Warden boots.
I really hope the Grey Warden from DA Origins comes back, or at least has a full explanation for what happened during their search for the cure for the calling.
Well depending on decisions made the warden may not be alive after the 5th blight
Not going to happen for the same reason as it didn’t happen in the Inquisition
@@HeadStrate Your warden if alive sends a letter explaining their absence. So it could very well be possible for them to come back

I suspect you have questions…
From the looks of it, there's going to be some kind of lovecraftian shenanigans in Rivain
Pirates
This better be fucking good Bioware! After 10 years, several bad games in between and various shenanigans at Bioware with employees and what not, you better hit it out of the park. Just some good old, classic Bioware storytelling and RPG-goodness. Thats all we want as fans, please just give us that!
Omg, this has me SOOO excited about the game. DA Inquisition is one of my all time favourte games and I really hope Dreadwolf surpasses it for me. By the way...will you show us anything on the upcoming Game Awards?
The fact they are waiting all the way until Summer for a full reveal is pretty much confirmation they won't. That long a wait for even a reveal tells me it still isn't even close to ready for that
@@slayerdwarfify yeah, i guess you’re right.
If they were going to, they wouldn't have revealed this one today.
I want to be happy, I want to be hopeful. This game series means the world to me, yet I almost feel worried. We all know what this game will be like and what this means for the Dragon Age as a whole. I must remain hopeful that my worries are false and that we may see the comeback of the most underrated masterpiece.
They did listen, and scrapped the multiplayer thing they planned. Let's hope
@@kurooitami The multiplayer isn't even half the problem. They have been actively trying to appeal to an audience that craves a soulless fantasy action rpg.
please be good. I love this game series so much and would love it to come back strong
Am I the only one hearing Patrick Stewart for that last voice?
Nope, I'm hearing Patrick Stewart too! Reminds me of Oblivion (Elder Scrolls)...
Percy Jackson approved! ☑️
Take my money, BioWare!
Enchantment? ENCHANTMENT!
Almost 10 years in development and no official gameplay footage yet.
Maybe I’m too cynical, but we’ve waited nearly a decade and a teaser for a trailer just feels very… idk not great especially following BioWare firing all of their best writers…
Full reveal next summer. That's...something, I guess. Like, I want to be excited for this game, I LOVE Dragon Age, but there has been nothing but scraps of information for YEARS, and with all the not good change ups at Bioware, its getting harder and harder to maintain my excitement.
I hope, I REALLY REALLY hope, that the full reveal will ignite that in me again.
I think people (not you specifically) are being a bit too negative about this. I honestly don't think that Dreadwolf will be awful like Anthem or Andromeda or something. I think it will be quite decent, maybe divisive to some extent, but I do think Dreadwolf will be a good game. It's most likely not gonna be a perfect masterpiece, but I think there's a higher chance of Dreadwolf being solid enough than it being straight-up bad.
@@jimmythegamer2231 the thing is, Bioware has been jerking us around for YEARS now. expectations are in the toilet. hype is buried underground. Trespasser technically ended on a cliffhanger, and it's been nearly a decade since. we've BEEN patient. we've given the studio the benefit of every doubt even with all the shakeups, the controversies, and bad games that have come out in between. and we don't even get a release WINDOW? no, we have to wait SIX MONTHS for just that! I know good games take time, but other studios can and DO crank out quality content in a FRACTION of the time Bioware has been working on Dreadwolf, so that excuse just isn't cutting it anymore. and that's assuming IF Dreadwolf turns out to be actually good, instead of being a fractured mess that comes from five or six half baked ideas and concepts being shoved into the same game. the likelihood of which only increases the more times development is halted, scrapped, and restarted, which we know has happed at least once.
@@jimmythegamer2231 Curious. Why do you believe this?
@@JoshJoshJoshuaTree Why do you think otherwise? The only explanation I’m able to gather is hearsay.
@@SomethingToReadidk man probably because new bioware makes bad games
Oh wow a map and a couple pre-rendered scenes! Another Duke Nukem Forever in the works it seems.
