If you are willing to share, what was the changes you needed to make to warrant a re-upload? Or is that something you’d rather not discuss?
Thank you, can the developers calibrate the MELE issues that modders have solved with their various Community Patches and other bits like restoring bugged content? I will be honest, I have done more than 5 runs with ME3LE while in the original ME3 I only finished it once.
What a relief! I thought we would see a number in the end of this trailer after the words 'Mass Effect'.... Either 4 or 5... Any hints? :)
For those curious, it was just the War of the Worlds / Apollo audio used at the start of the trailer. Likely a copyright issue. I checked the trailer against the previous one for differences using editing software and they are otherwise identical.

Mass effect will never be the same. Old Bioware developers are working on EXODUS game in Archetype Entertainment including Drue Karpyshin, James Ohlen and Chad Robertson

I just beat Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3 for the first time. Even though this trailer is two years old now, I’m sure it STILL gives everyone goosebumps like it did for me just now!
Beating Mass Effect 3 for a third time now with Femshep and i will ready for a fourth with MaleShep
Honestly, It's a testament to this series that new people are playing it and enjoying to this day. I first played it recently myself. (I say recently, but it was before legendary edition). Hope ME4 turns out well.

@@jakomioftherose2434 sadly that's exactly what's going to happen, if we even get another mass effect, that is. The entire team that worked on the original trilogy has long since left bioware, and to me it seems this teaser was made only to boost sales of legendary edition.

Liara is such a soothing presence in the entire game!
Tali hits the spot for me personally. Felt like Liara grew a little too cold and distant after ME1. Still a great character in the sphere of gaming though

They better not play with our hearts like this, or I'm done. This is their last chance with me. Andromeda wasn't bad but it was painfully average at best. Just wasn't the same without the OG Normandy crew and Shepard.
@@roguesquadron521 What most people don't understand here is that it intentionally shows both mw and andromeda for a reason. Michael Gamble said it. That means both galaxies will connect. Who knows though, it could be something entirely different like a new pc while keeping some elements from the trailer. People should keep low expectations and not jump into conclusions until more is being shown.
A stroke of genius, isn't it? Launch the Legendary Edition, with all the games from that beautiful trilogy remastered and with all the DLCs. And on top of that free to play in Xbox Game Pass. You've managed to attract new fans like me and revive old ones, all in preparation for a game that must return to its origins after going to another Galaxy.
I can only hope that this game, as well as the next Dragon Age, live up to expectations. After turbulent years, it's what BioWare needs. In fact, many game companies are in need of making their consumers smile again.
4 years later this trailer still gives me chills !!! so well made, you can tell this alone was made with care and love so i cant even imagine what the final game could look like, I'm super looking forward to it !!

After seeing Liara in the trailer, I think I narrowed down the time period in Mass Effect 4 to be between a month or several centuries after Mass Effect 3.
At least a century I’m thinking. I can’t imagine they do immediately after the war especially since the character we would play as is dead.
She looks much older here. So it should be 1-2 centuries atleast.
Considering her wrinkles, and that Asari live for around a millenium, I'd say several centuries at least.
Other questions would include:
What happens in that time frame if the Quarians or the Geth aren't around?
How has the decision to cure the Genophage gone?
How the fuck does synthesis work again?
and so on...
These all have huge implications which make me very skeptical about the quality of the story...

It's going to be incredibly difficult for them to nail this, but if they pull it off and the Fanbase doesn't hate it for some minor reason, I do believe this could be great. It's such an amazing franchise that does deserve to be continued.
@@tobiashahn9365 in terms of gameplay I don’t think they need to change much from ME3 or MEA tbh, Maybe a few tweaks here and there. I think they can really focus on the story with that in mind.
@@bradleyfleenor2347 I think so too, MEA pretty much nailed it, as it was both for quick action players and cover shooter veterans (me). But they will need to appease both fans of the original trilogy and MEA, and ALSO somehow get past the ending controversy. I still have high hopes tho, it's good that they set themselves such an ambitious goal.

I really hope that we can play as commander Shepard one more time and continue the journey with all of the previous and new additional crew members. I also love ME Andromeda and hope that it will also continue as a spin-off in a future but Commander Shepard, N7, Normandy, it's crew member, and the original Mass Effect trilogy as a whole is and always have a special place in my heart.
There are aging lines in the face of liara. And asari live up to one thousand years. So, there is the likely possibility that shepard is already dead of natural causes.

There is a high chance, that the main character will be a woman/or gay Shepard. Well, maybe BioWare learned its lessons after Andromeda (made by Chinese students on part-time, obviously not BioWare) and Theeeeeeeeee Annnnnnntheeeeemmm.

@@a.a.9028 agreed, but as much as I miss them they make no sense anymore. granted in context of a technologically advanced future it made no sense slow elevators, but they had charm. given current hardware (NVME SSD) there should also be no need for them. what i want is a return to the innovative thinking that saw them implement those instead of static loading screens. innovation is all but dead in the world of triple A, 3 to 5 platform mandated game development.
I’m so glad they wrote “will continue” instead of putting a date on it. PLEASE take your time and do this series justice!

This game is not just a game for me, maybe it is for the developers and people at bioware, definitely for ea but not for me. Stories have power. Since the beggining of humanity we tell stories, they make us feel good and bad and all sorts of feelings. They change our thoughts, even shape our personality. And for me Shepard's story is special. In the worst times of my life her strenght, her determination, her hope pulled me out of my darkness, still does. Maybe it's silly, I don't know but whenever I feel overwhelmed, depressed or exhausted, I think of Shepard and tell myself, she shouldered the weight of the galaxy, fought like hell to give them a chance to survive. Compared to that what you're going through is nothing, get it together. It helps.
So bioware, devs, I thank you for telling me her story and letting me turn it into my story. I don't know where you'll go with this next game. Whatever you do will never effect my view on the original trilogy, that was, maybe I'm exaggerating but, a life changing experience. But I would never say no to living another experience like that. I know you're good story tellers, you must be doing this with passion, not only because it's your job or for the money, look at the universe you created and the stories you told in it. You have the power to touch people's lives. Please use this power wisely.

Lmao femshep isnt canon. ME1-2 it has been either default charakter John Shepard or create new Id, choose female option and then listen to boring Jennifer Hale who is in basically every videogame and sounds like a 40 year old smoker.
Also she doesent even have a first name. Maybe until ME3, not sure. But yeah she doesent fit into the role built around John at all. And these women-hero stories are also pure fiction and fantasy.
This basically confirms the Perfect Destroy ending is canon.
Shepherd is confirmed to be alive in the second teaser, which disregards completely the Control and Refusal endings. And Liara doesn't look synthetic.

Just finished Legendary Edition on PS5. I haven't had the pleasure of playing this iconic game before, although I remember the hype among my peers when I was a teenager. Today I am a mature player and traveling through the vastness of space together with a select company of heroes, exploring all the secrets of each part of Mass Effect was an epic experience for me. Great game, one of the best I've ever played. This trailer gives hope for a return to those wonderful moments. I keep my fingers crossed for the creators and for us, fans of this legendary series of games.
I hope so much that we see Shepard again. The little N7 here seems to suggest we may, and given that the Destroy ending is seemingly considered canon by Bioware and when done right has Shepard survive, it seems entirely plausable. I know some people want to see Shepard's story end and focus on somebody else, but nah, I want more Shepard.
A pre-ME1 shephard story would be cool or a javik prequel game before he went cryostatsis

I tried then i got struck in the wall 4 times in a row. Movement is one of those things you don't really think about but add a ton to a gameplay experience
@@ImperialFool I'm very excited to see of all 3 of the titles, 1 the most. Because its the game that needed the most touch up given its 2.5 nature. It would jerk foward when running and couldn't ever hit a 30FPS framerate like its more graphically impressive followups.
That being said, seeing the DLC's I still had not bought when my 360 died like the party? one I've heard so much about be in this package makes it an easy win.
We need a full version of this song, it's too damn good. The sound design, the visuals, the music, it's such a rush to see this trailer, it never fails no matter how many times I watch it.
I'm equally excited as all hell for this game and also terrified of it not living up to the expectation.

I agree with most though that they’ll try and bring him back. Just based on the disappointing sales from the last game and the fans who didn’t like the ending of 3. @James Johnson by the dead reapers I’m going with they somehow won. It’s just that large gap of how they all ended up dead. As she’s climbing the dead reaper the one in the background is still standing up but “dead.” I’m excited to see where it’ll go.

It's a fantastic concept, amazing combat, interesting story. Total garbage of a game. I can't finish it I just really don't like it. The PC mods fix the facial animations, textures etc. I am extremely pissed off how Bioware completely abandoned the game and I paid for the digital deluxe edition which was like 90 bucks.
I keep coming back to this trailer. One of the most hype and beautiful things ive seen in the trailer world. I absolutely love it. Gives me such nice feelings.
Mass Effect is honestly a reason to live man. One of the wonders of the world.

Just use Unreal Engine instead of Shitbite, already comes built in with countless optimization / animation / gameplay and graphics features. So they can focus on gameplay and story and UE5 will already provide them with very advanced renderer and next-gen features.
After finishing the legendary edition a few weeks ago and playing the second and third game for the first time......man the story, characters, so many moments where i laughed and cried, i have tali as my romance and for the little i knew of the game Shepard dies in all the endings except one and i tried to get it....just to had no idea how to get it and i saw tali putting my name on the memorial.... Then i sat there 15 minutes crying like a little bitch but then on the last mission she telling you she has a home and then you living not knowing what happened next.....i just hope this game changes that with a good ending for Shepard and all the crew

I just finished the legendary edition and the amount of tears running down my face. I can't describe how engaged I was to this story and the end of me3 was beautiful and I just wish shepard survived this gives me hope and I hope it lives up to the trilogy.

it seems no one paid attention to what planet Liara flew to, it is not Earth, near which the Citadel and synthetics were destroyed, in the canonical ending, which will be accepted as the main one, for transferring saves to part 5. It is another planet, which has two satellites, not one, like Earth. How did a piece of Shepard's N7 armor end up there, and it is obvious that it was part of his armor. But one thing is obvious, he did not die in Earth's orbit at the end of part 3, since part of his armor ended up on a completely different planet. And Liara did not look upset when she found it, she was smiling.

My favorite video game series. The Best game that never gets old. It feels so real.
If this game don't continue the Shepherd saga, atleast give us a short prologue/epilogue, where i can find Tali and we can go build our house on Rannoch. I'll purchase and play it, even if it ends up like a shitty Star Field 2.0, but please, at the very least, give us closure in form of a playable prologue/epilogue!

Nothing ever compared to that hollow feeling you get after finishing Mass Effect. That confusion you get when you chill on your own just days after finishing the game, reminiscing all the moment in the game like it truly happened in real life. I never feel so compelled and committed to a game like I have with Mass Effect. I got teary eyes seeing this trailer. I love Mass Effect, period, like for life.
YES!!! To all of this. I played the games through once and had to walk away for four years because it was an absolute life changing "experience". Seriously I couldn't even in my headcanon give myself a time travel excuse to go back and play until this year because all the loss and all the struggle was still too fresh. The game is THAT good. Also, anyone watch the various cinematics and think to themselves, "They got my hair wrong.. Or, seriosuly who cast this thing, I wasn't a guy! Who made this revisionist documentary???" ....then catch themselves :)

Runs shitty on base consoles and that's not something to be taken lightly, especially considering they intentionally didn't show gameplay on those consoles and were overall kinda scummy - But they're offering refunds and promise to fix it, and they probably will. The game itself, if you can run it, is... breathtaking

Which ending did you choose in me3? I think this trailer indicates the "Destroy" ending to be the canon one.
@@Oliver-uh5ze I picked the destroy endding and got the endding where shepard survived. And I think that is from where they continue from. I got a theory that since Liara is the default love interest she maybe in the place of who your romantic partner was in the previous game... Hopefully... I'll kinda be sad if this game is hundreds ofyear after the events of the previous game and all other characters are gone.

I just finished playing Mass Effect for the first time and I can’t believe I missed out on this amazing franchise, truly one of the best games I’ve ever played. I can’t wait to see where this franchise goes next, so long as they take their time and give these characters the proper continuation they deserve.
