Your Videos of making a good cover letter and resume are very helpful. But I have one question: Is it necessary to put all your personal information like phone number, adress and e-mail on both? Isn't it enough to have it only on the cover letter? Thanks for your answer, I hope you continue with those videos :)
I currently applying for AU jobs while staying in Philippines. I added my date of arrival on my cover letter, what I can offer, then a couple of paragraphs to explain an related example, what I did, and the result. I am now struggling to fit everything in one page. I adjusted the margin instead from 1inch to .75. Is that ok? How can I shorten my cover letter? I’m afraid hiring staff would get lazy to read it. 😢

Hi Nitesh, great questions. Q1. You don't need a Cover letter for a visa, it's only for job applications (once you're in Aus) so don't worry about this until you get here and start applying for jobs. Q2. I'd suggest waiting until your visa is granted to book your flights (but it's up to you). Once you get your visa, you can find flights on websites like skyscanner or directly from the airlines website (Qantas e.g.). For accommodation when you first get here, I find websites like Airbnb to be a great option (short term rentals). Hope this helps :)

Hi! thanks for the question. If you are talking about references, you wouldn't include these ones in your Cover Letter. Only in your Resume (and only if they ask you) - but usually you would add (at the end of your resume): References will be provided upon request.

Loved your content so much. Very informative. I just would like to ask if is it possible to apply a job even if I am still not in Australia? Granting that I am already granted a valid visa, for example a 491 visa?

Glad you are enjoying the vids :) Regarding your question, everything is possible (especially if your job is in high demand or you work at a multinational), but most Aus employers prefer the candidates to be here already. I'd suggest networking with aussie recruiters via Linkedin (relevant to your field, check job ads to get their contacts) and ask them what they think (usually they recommend to be here, but it all depends).
