+Lynnette Mooney girl you have no idea..... it bothers me a lot too and it technically doesn't even affect me in terms of products that will work for me!! I have a dream that one day drugstore (heck even mid/high end) brands will make their face color ranges FAR more inclusive because right now it's downright insulting!! :(
This doesn't affect me personally but I agree as well! A lot of brands do t have many shades for darker skin and one shade is crazy hopefully they will come out with more!

Funny thing is with this range it's not light enough either. I can usually go with the lightest shade aka Casper and this is not even close. Same with the Loreal cushion foundation. I had a friend who was black and Hispanic and it was impossible for her to find a foundation.
I was going to say the same thing. Like one shade for a darker skinned woman is just wrong. They have all the shades for lighter and and medium skin tones, but then 1 single colour for dark skin. Why. Why. Why. -_- ugh it makes me angry. They need to make a wider range of shades for dark skin too. No one is the exact same colour. Colour equality!!!! 💪🏻
I tried this and I was so looking forward to it but even after my usual moisturizing routine it looked so so badly dry! It created dry patches in places I didn't even realize I had 😭 after watching your review though I wanna try it again with a thicker moisturizer and primer, I hope it will work out! 😥

My first impression when I saw it? It reminded me of one of those pools with a built in hot tub!
You should try the regular colorstay foundation. I know it's old and it was the hype on youtube in 2010, but that foundation is the BEST thing I've ever used. Ever. I've been using it for at least 5 years and I try new things but nothing compares. Only get the oily/combination formula bc the dry/normal formula doesn't last as long. The liquid colorstay stays on my face for 15 hours with no primer and I have very textured (acne scars), acne prone skin. I think the secret is that the formula is so thick, so it takes a longer time to break down. When I pump the foundation out, I have to blow air on it to spread it and then i dip my real techniques brush (either pink stippling or buffing) into it and apply it to my face. The coverage is insane, as well. I think you'll love it!
not to be a party pooper, but does any one else think this foundation doesn't look great? it looks mad patchy and doesn't conceal redness much.

I think if you take care of the peach fuzz around your lips and all over your face in general, all foundations will make you look flawless and give you a smoother surface in general:) I really hope this didn't come off rude just trying to help💖
Oh I got mine waxed for the first time awhile ago I was so happy.. It did irrate my skin and give me some little whiteheads :/ but overall I was just so happy haha my "mustashe" was really bothering me (even tho nobody else noticed) hahaha I need to do it agaim
Katelyn Stiles make sure your wax is organic and natural with the least amount of oils if it irritates you, that could be the problem:) but yes I personally hate a mustache on me because my facial hairs grow so dark and fast!
yeah i didn't look into it at all i just got it done at my hairdressers i went out that night and got drunk and fell asleep with my makeup on so i feel like that was a big part of it too -_- i was so annoyed at myself. i used a super soft face exfoliater on that area like every/every other night afterwards and it didn't stay long

Cassie, I adore you. I have to tell you that I found you a couple years ago and since then you are my favorite lil lady to watch. I've gone back and watched your thrift hauls, cuz oh my god who doesn't love a good thrift store spree?! But anywhoo Im so happy to see your channel grow. I commented something a couple years ago about using Neosporin on the crusty healing bits, and I like to think I'm the reason you say you use it sometimes in your vids lol (Oh Brittany, you aren't that important)..
But the real reason I'm writing this long comment is because I moved last year to a new state away from my friends and family, and Oregon has really dark, cold, wet winters. I suffered a lot during this one, so lonely and homesick couldn't go home for the holidays, and being able to watch your vids has helped me not feel so alone! You make me laugh, and I honestly feel like if we knew each other in the real world you would be such an awesome person to be friends with! Im totally as awkward, and silly, but alas I live on the north west coast.
I appreciated your video on Anxiety, I suffer from really bad social anxiety, and agoraphobia, and sometimes its such a struggle to go out ad be around people. I really admire you and think you are so strong and brave. You are so beautiful and confident, you are like a breath of fresh air to the youtube community. I appreciate the fact you have such a sweet heart. Thank you for being there, even if you couldn't possibly know how much its helped me.

Hi love, I just started following you a few weeks ago and I am obsessed. Love your personality and your openness to any issues you are having with your skin. I've suffered from acne for a couple of years now. I've been under the care of my dermatologist and nothing seemed to completely get rid of it but finally my OB/GYN opened my eyes to ortho try cyclen and it has changed my acne completely. I hope you don't take offense in my comment I just wish someone would have told me about ortho sooner before all the scarring happened. Keep up the awesome work and great personality. Oh and it's no one's business what you do and do not get paid for, none of us are paying your bills.
Going on a hormone birth control pill for acne of any kind is stupid advice. Hormone tampering always causes issues for your body. If not now, then later. It messes with the thyroid, adrenal glands, pituitary, lymphatic system...it's not worth it.

I have to say the only foundation that I've found to be sweat-proof is Estee Lauder's double wear. Thank goodness for that stuff!! Revlon isn't a bad winter foundation but totally fails during summer :(

How your skin looks is really important so it's easy to justify spending tons of money on the higher end stuff, but the drugstore has very comparable options (: Have a good day, Cassie!
U should return the foundation and get the regular liquid revlon colorstay for combo/oily skin. Best drugstore foundation ever.

I'm an exact match for color stay buff but this new foundation looked two shades darker than the original one in the bottle even thought it's the same shade name. Thanks for making these videos!

Revlon color stay is my all time favourite foundation especially the liquid one with a pump. I have been using it since I can't remember. I tried to change to another products but nothing could stay for long as much as Revlon especially in Summer.
For some reason that foundation feels a bit heavy to me, I guess I don't like the feeling of knowing you have make up on your skin. But it does last really long. ^^
I still really want to see you try the Milani liquid lipsticks and their new lip oils! And you have the Clinique chubby stick highlight on, you should try the contour and the foundation! Your reviews are my favorite to watch :)
For a second there, I was scared it was going to be an orange repeat, but the color looks very good on the skin..and of course the low price is an added bonus😉
Cassie! I have super dry skin and my nose and chin can get dry and flaky like that from time to time, especially in winter. I take a tiny bit of Aquaphor and smooth it over the area and let it sit for a few minutes after I was my face and put my lotion on. Then before I'm ready to put on my foundation I just make sure there is no excess. The key is using the teeniest amount and massaging it in.
I'm not surprised that this turned out to be a good foundation. I've used their cream foundations in the past, and I really did like them! I'll have to give this new one a try!

Ok, so my opinion might not matter to anyone, but im still going to tell you what I think about the new foundation. I don't really like it honestly. I think it makes your skin look really oily, and it doesn't conceal very well. But, I think that that is because it is a cream foundation. I absolutely love the normal foundation you wear. It conceals really well, it doesn't make your face look cakey, and it sort of shrinks your pores. Idk, but this 2 in 1 thing didn't work for me. And i know it doesn't really matter what I think because it is your face and your preference and personal liking, but i just wanted to put that out there. Love love looovvveee you and your channel btw!!!
I liked the foundation, personally.
It's 10.99 right now at rite aid and there have been coupons going around for 3-4 bucks off! That leaves it being at a minimum of 6.99!

I am using the Peter Thomas Roth acne treatment try out kit thing from sephora, and I am serious impressed. The aha/bha Exfoliator works so so well on little stubborn clogged pores and the sulfur treatment KILLS those deep painful zits. Highly recommended.

Have you tried the Colorstay Whipped Creme version? I think you might like it. It has a nice satin/semi-matte finish and just amazing lasting power. I could never get the regular liquid Colorstay to quite work for me, but this stuff is so good. Looks better at midnight than a lot of my other foundations did at noon! Packaging (glass jar) isn't ideal, but I mix two shades together anyway, so I use a little spatula to mix and transfer the blended mix into another pot a small amount at a time. Would love to hear your impressions if you try it!
Questions! What didn't work out for you with the liquid version? Does the whipped version have any noticeable glitter/shimmer particles? I really want to try the colorstay line because I've heard it runs yellower/less orange than other drugstore foundations.
I found the way that it covers redness and kept on covering it all day very impressive
