Doing a haka to honor and respect someone who has passed leaves you shaking, you feel everyone's pain, sorrow, love and anger around you, you become one and grieve and respect together, you express so many emotions at once with every cry and move you do. At least this is how I felt when doing one like this, left so much adrenaline and emotion after, I hadn't felt something like it before then, those students gave so much respect and passion it's crazy, it gives me goosebumps
Thank you all for the beautiful, passionate, and heartfelt farewell to Tom, you made his last day on earth memorable for his family! love and respect from USA
They have no respect cos the education system permits them to be disrespectful. A teacher scan discipline a child can’t even say a word to the child regardless of what they do. Being African decent I was shocked to see kids act the way they do in schools in the UK. Totally lacking in discipline. Talk back to teachers. Anyway the teachers these days just want to job security and pay cheque they don’t care about the children’s learning either
@Jake Frontera I don't know much about how it goes with kids in the US. Here in France, children often forget about being polite and respectful and it's a pity. I'm not that old (56) and my sons say good morning good bye please thank you and never forget to cancel an appointment. It seems rare nowadays.
Rest in Love Tom your memories and legacy will be treasured. I'm one of the fortunate ones that you had impacted during my years at SHC. 🙏😭💔 Love and prayers to you and your family from 180 000,000kms away 🔵🔴

Que lindo! Que homenagem espetacular feita a um professor. É muito emocionante ver o quanto os alunos se sentem honrados por ter tido aquele homem com seu mestre. Infelizmente, em algumas partes do mundo, esse profissional é tão desrespeitado.

The haka is a powerful expression of respect in MZ Maori culture - many people understand this, or are moved by this demonstration of high regard from 1000 boys, students of this much- loved teacher .
that’s because there are so many different ones written for different meanings. My teacher and i wrote one together for a project to perform with my school

Meaningless? Emotion is evoked from sound also. From body language. From tone. If you cannot read those three things but need it spelled out to you, despite the title of the video, that is sad.

Eh???
I wonder what do they say. If i don't understand things or words, then they are meaningless!!
Then the video is not for you. Maybe stick to videos with your own language.
Meaningless? Emotion is evoked from sound also. From body language. From tone. If you cannot read those three things but need it spelled out to you, despite the title of the video, that is sad.
Yeah...meaningless to you obviously..the vid wasn't made for YOU love.🙄
So is classical music meaningless because it has no words? You can feel emotion without understanding or having words.
It is only meaningless if " YOU " don't make the effort to learn and understand what is being said, have a go no one can blame you for not trying.
