This footage courtesy myself, Justin, Jeff and Paul featuring aircraft from myself, Justin, Jeff, Paul, Stephen and Mike.
Fixed wing aircraft featured are
Skyhunter
2x Chimera
2x Mini Drak
E-flight Opterra.. (I think)
Sonicmodell AR Wing (RMRC Recruit V2)
Here's Justin's cut featuring quads and motorcycles too

So good to see that old Skyhunter still flying! Those evening/sunrise shots are awesome.
I love still seeing the Skyhunter and Chimera out there. Of course I have a lot of new planes, but I still also fly what I was flying 7 / 8 years ago too... Buiding my 6th chimera now...
WOAH! when the wing with the red lights did a close zoom past I nearly fell of my chair. hahaha. Brilliant stuff.
Very nice you guys!!!!Very nice!
Looks like so much fun. Maybe someday I'll get out there and join you guys.
Awesome footage!!!
Hell yeah! So good!
very cool
Good stuff !
Very amazing footage. Five uav's in the air, great fun.
Tight flying! You guys have the best spots.
Awesome shots! What HD camera is the Skyhunter running? Smooooth
Hero7 2.7K@30fps + Superview + Hypersmooth, ISO locked at min/max 100, and that was the best air of the event.
Super cool video! :)
Amazing edit! The weather was fantastic this year.
I've been trying to find your video of your planes in flaming gorge or moab. Could you put a link in here. I loved that video
Moab vids are over on the COFPV channel. Search for COFPV Moab Pt. 2 (my favorite). We haven't flown Flaming Gorge.
Absolutely Amazing Ian! After all these years you and your trusty Skyhunter still the leader.
I'm not the only one who knows that you know what you're doing as far as FPV hobby goes.
The skill of everyone shown here is absolutely amazing a gift of God to all y'all, I'm not even close to this level and is why I really don't belong there flying with you guys, I'm still very much a noob even though I've progressed so far.
I still wanna see the vid clip of that quad bouncing off your Skyhunter/Tank, maybe it's in here and I missed it or it came outside the FOV of your cams and you didn't catch it?
The only way to get good at leading and following other fpv planes is just to do it, repeatedly.
The quad hit the wing behind my cameras so nothing to see. It impacted my video antenna blanking my video for a couple seconds, and broke an aileron, ultimately taking the plane down. Can see a red patch on one wing in some of the clips. That was part of the repair.
That's just awesome ! I would love to do such a meet !
This was awesome on the big screen cranked up! Man, what a blast. I'm in Idaho and wish I could hang and fly with y'all. Did you guys campout for a couple days? Anyway, loved the skills, seriously, can see some dang good piloting. Hope y'all get out often and fly hard. ☮️ Wheelchair John in Idaho 😎
Thanks. Ya we usually are there from Friday through Sunday and some people car camp both nights, some stayed at a motel 30 miles away, and some only come up for one day. The best times to fly are usually early morning and after sunset, so you're usually missing the best air if you don't stick around.
Cooool as
shid i missed another one
Very nice ! Did you guys fly with DJI HD ?
All the fixed wing aircraft were analog except for the black/white/orange AR wing, and it did allow me to fly it lower and faster through the trees. The 7inch quad which is sometimes visible, and provided some of the chase footage, was DJI FPV. I've also got it my 5in and some other people piloted it. I've also got it on my Nano Goblin which I flew early in the morning, but no chase footage of it.
daemn42 so I get both analog and DJI HD play well together, cool :)
@@carguy1994ca Ya, the only hassle is that DJI always boots up on what it calls channel 8, which is really race band 6, before it switches to whatever channel you've chosen. This means we just told everyone before the event to stay away from race 6. Then, DJI ch6 is really RB 7 and DJI 7 is RB 8, so had to do that mental math many times as we were negotiating which channels were available. During the day we often had 4-5 people in the air on a mix of DJI and analog channels.
FWIW, DJI just added a display of the frequency range of each channel in the goggles' OSD which may help with coordination with analog pilots.
How do I find out more about #COFPV? I would love to get the fleet in the air more often.
Besides the cofpv YT channel, www.cofpv.com has some more info. There's a FB group as well (I don't do FB though), and a side chat channel on fpblab.com
