Inside of a building there was a boy about 10 years old that i was following around. I seen red velvet curtains and people were in a hurry to leave the building. I seen the stadium outside of this building. I never had a dream that felt so real like this. I am so interested in the videos of pompeii. What historians and archaeologists tend to forget to mention is Napoleon Bonapartè,s family Caroline Bonapartè dedicated a huge amount of her life and money to funding and doing the excavations, studied archaeology herself for working to unearth Pompeii. So if do a back story go at least all out!! And mention, how it came about to be excavated and why! How and when it happened! So on and so forth! More time is given with backstories than the title given to the posted video! (About many historical video's) new findings is "New findings" if a person knows nothing find the relevant information to then stay updated on further information and findings. History is forever evolving obviously, so new subjects are always being made and found. Start from the beginning and continue as far and as long as possible, as we will all become part of History 👍✨️🤩

    Pompeii was near the Bay of Naples. Perhaps, some people were able to escape by boats to other nearby Countries, scholars should investigate what became of these people, now with DNA they would not be difficult to trace.

    • @frankmeyers2864
      @frankmeyers2864 3 дня назад

      DNA would only show people living in the region. No direct ties to Pompeii.
      The intense heat, lasting for years after ash encasement of 10+ meters (22+ feet), would destroy all DNA. No DNA = nothing traceable to descendants.
      .
      Modern analogy: a cooking campfire smoldering with hot embers under less than a half inch of ash the next morning.

    The video does not illustrate the title. The wooden artefacts are from Herculaneum. Too little relevant detail about Roman culture. Too much repetitive handwringing about "the devastating eruption".

    Why the exaustive back story? If anyone clicks on rhis channel they most likley already know the exaustve back story and just want the click on your bait, so again, most people who have a brain already understand the story, your welcome for my post but im not going to watch the rest of this video because i already know the story and you obviously have nothing more to elucidate on this subject, you tube should not allow this type of content.

      RECAP:
      Volcano erupted/exploded. Most wealthy escaped b4 eruption. Many poor people died. City buried by pyroplastic blast & ash. Currently, still being uncovered. Beautiful cera.ic frescos showing daily city life. [However, many edited inserts totally unrelated. Some from Herculenem, China and 1930s America.]
      Poorly narrated and edited, IMO .

      Seasonal fruits shown, only available during fall/winter. Not hot summers. Mid August date (of Julian calendar) inaccurate. According to current archeology scholars.

    The most unique item discovered was the ash covered man who was pleasuring himself the second he died. Very obvious in the pictures. Instead of running he chose to do that. Or its a flase story and he was urinating and toplled over in that pose.
