Good job Sonne family 👍 need a keg of beer and a fire this fall and sit and listen to Brian stories! And that’s all I got to say about that 😎🇺🇸MERICA 🇺🇸💪🏻
What the Hay!!! Crocheting while watching you and missed a stitch...lol Now have to do some ripping out and redo!! Well worth it. Enjoy watching! Got to No Dak last weekend after 30 years. Wow have the farms ever gotten bigger! Great to see. Lots of good health to you all and am praying for rain for you.
Absolutely true you learn more from your mistakes than doing it right every time. Great to hear a Brian Story. Glad your knee is healing and things are getting back to normal with you raking and Brian bailing!
It is very interesting to see your Uncle Jeff and your Dad are teaching you the next generation in Farming it is interesting to see how things change and You are the next generation in farming . Thank you for letting us see this you and your family are great American people and I pray God blesses you and your Fanily
Glad to see the knee coming along. I, too, turned too sharp at an end one time - wasn’t pretty, but it was indeed a learning experience. That accumulator is a must purchase - best thing since sliced bread. Heck, I enjoy watching it.
Glad to see your doing good even on the stairs. Great video today came early though thought it was Saturday have to go slow for us old farts. I think listening to Brian on the last video guess he likes the bale accumulator. Very interesting spraying the thistles, hope you get some rain soon. Be waiting for the next one I'll be back.
Glad to see you progressing well with your knee. That plus 2 bale carrier is awesome to watch. I about fell out of the chair when you said, I heard that farmer can be a prick and said Brian Sonne. 😂 hope you don't get beat with a slappy for that. See yall next time
At the beginning of this video, you were talking about how Jeff and your Dad had fixed the hood on the tractor and made the comment of" It doesn't look too bad as long as you don't look at it." Well, guess what, I (and I'm pretty sure other folks as well) couldn't stop looking at it, every shot in the video that showed the hood of the tractor and I was looking for those bolts. You said that they painted it, well guess what, it stuck out more after your comment,. More than if they would have just left it unpainted and we were stuck with all that mess, but OH NO you had to go and tell all of us about it and all that I find myself doing is watching for those bolts and I missed every word you said .So I had to go back and watch the video again(not such a bad thing, really) And that's all I got to say about that!
Thanks for sharing another day of your farm life. Our corn here in central Indiana is now tasseling. Wish you could have some of this rain we've been getting ... God bless y'all.
Cole, great to see the leg is coming along better and another great video. Talking Accumulator, well back in my young lad years on the farm we didn't even have round bales. Only the little squares. Then came along a New Holland conveyor type loader on four wheels that attached to the side of a flat bed truck, my job was to put all the bales in a line. How time flies some 65 year later LOL.
Carry a bag when you spray to put the thistle flowers in. If it has a head it will finish blooming if you leave it. Also wear gloves when spraying! Love your farm, great videos!
Good Morning! We have a simple rule: You break it, you fix it on your own time!! Its so nice to see that your knee is coming along so nicely! Its tough being one of the working wounded!! Love your videos and commentary! Best Wishes and GOD BLESS! Gary
That baler is an amazing invention...I only pulled the milkweed that grew up between the old steps and porch. I loved watching the butterflies and the lone bumblebee. But the rest of those darn sticker weeds...happily there weren't as many in the foundation gardens after 2 years absence!
neighbors deere did the same thing on the hood, I made him up a set of phony louvers, bolted them on and sprayed them the appropriate green, looks like it's speeding sitting still
Thanks for your great video. Was enjoyable following around with you and your dad. I trust you will get some rain soon. I know everyone is burning up and crops are needing moisture very badly. Praying you get rain soon. Thanks for taking us along on the rake, had not done that yet, neat operation and works great. Spraying weeds brings back memories-wow-they grow everywhere. Hard to kill sometimes. Just have to keep after them. Sounds like your knee is doing better. Going up and down the stairs with regular motion is good. Thanks for your time in doing the video so we can follow along. Trust rain is coming your way. You all take care and be safe. Thanks. The Iowa farm boy from years ago.
On the hood repair “It’s close enough, that only the blind man, on a galloping horse, in the middle of the night would notice!” I’ll keep praying for rain for you guys, we just got another 2.5” in the past 24 hrs. Good seeing you walking up & down steps! Having had bilateral total knee replacements done, 4 months apart, it feels good being to do that! Yes it does hurt to kneel on them! Not having the pain after healing makes it worth it though. As much as birds love the thistle seed, like you, I can’t get rid of the thistle or the stinging nettles fast enough in our pastures. God Bless!
Glad to see the improvements in your leg with each video I watch. Great video Cole! Thanks for keeping us entertained, if you're posting, I'll be watching!
Rains almost every day here in Pa. Wished I could send you guys some. We had a dry one last year so I expected more than average rain this year. Loved what you guys show and the neighbors field joke busted me up
Hey Cole! Your drone flying music is so good. Relaxing and visually entertaining to watch what the drone videos! Good editing, too. Your language is so back home to me. All the farmers used to talk like that back in the day when I lived in the country. I appreciate you explaining about the weeds! Thank you!
Hey Cole… we recently picked up a Chapin Mix on Exit Sprayer and put it on the back of the side by side. Man! It is the best thing we bought for spot spraying. You can change the chemical tank and still have clean the water.
Good job on spaying the thistle your a good example for all the farmer's and acreage owners out there ..keep Brian's story's coming they never get old good to see you getting around even better hope you get that rain ..
Love your sense of humor. Makes for interesting videos. I'm glad to see you getting around better with the improvement of your knee. A little rain and all will be well.
Its nice to see you guys getting some hay baled. Here on the east coast the fields are so darn wet most hay farmers haven't even got all the first cutting down yet. Let alone baled. It's been extremely wet for us this year.
Nice vid! Jd's accumulator is one of their best ideas! We put all the bales on one end of the fields. So much less chasing bales, quicker and less compaction on our fields!
Can i just say THANK YOU for all the time and effort you put into your videos?! We ..of course get to enjoy a geat video.. but im thinking wow.. all the start n stops..relocating the camera.. the patience your dad must have ! Lol Then all the editing you must do! Do you do it yourself? You have a gift for this! Your gunna end up on tv i can tell!!! Thank you again!!!
I hope you get rain to help you and others fram around you and I hope your leg gets better soon and I hope it rain so grass will grow so you don't have to sell alot of cows your hay bales are cool never seen one like that I us to love haying has a kid take care God bless and bless your family stay safe and healthy
Another great video! You never fail to disappoint!. Southern Ontario neighbour here. Lots of rain here, and wish I could send some your way. Curse those darn Canadian Thistles...that's what we do...share! Take care and hope you have lots of fun at the wedding. I suspect the dancing will be at a minimum, at least with respect to you!
Let's blame the lost rake manual on Jeff. When your out in the middle of nowhere, and you need to go #2, and your out of toilet paper,.....that manual was probably lookin' like a good substitute. (Ha!Ha!)
Im getting a total knee replacement on Wednesday on the left and I already have a prosthetic leg on the right ( short rendition: farm accident) Im 71 and have no plans of retiring until I cant get in the tractor. If you do a lot of hard farm work in your life, you can depend on getting "stoved up" when you hit the big 70. Ask your Dad and grandpa about it. They know. Have a wonderful day there number one! Its always a pleasure to watch your videos.
For going through major heat and no rain u still got a lot of hay compared to other farmers be thankful for watcha got as I always say because it could be a lot worse
Great big patch of pigweed at the end there. We had pigs on our family farm, they gobble that stuff up in no time. Pigweed is like green salad to the pigs. They absolutely love that stuff.
Very impressed that Cole knows how much water weighs? I was in the Cement business for 40 years & we used 8.33# when making mix designs. Also , impressed on how well maintained your equipment is . Enjoyed this video . Chas.,SC
Thistle, same noxious weed catagory in Pennsylvania. The crazy thing is some of the worst areas are on the right of ways on State roads... and they only mow them after they have bloomed and set seed.
Red food coloring in your spray shows you where you have sprayed those weeds in the paddock so you don't spray the one plants several times over driving around just a little trick work great have a good one . Frank from Australia!!!
Good job on those stairs. I have diabetic neuropathy, no feeling whatsoever below the knees, so no balance. That, combined with zero cartilage in either knee, makes stairs impossible. Wishing you guys safety, and blessings from Ohio!
84degrees here in East Yorkshire, UK. and farmers busy cutting super crops of hay. Been a good year with plenty rain, plenty sun...all the grain is looking good too. Yorkshire UK is GOD's Own Country. Settled by the Ten Lost Tribes after the Roman Empire collapsed in 400-500 AD.
hello another great video i really don't want to tell you how to do things but i set up a lot of h and s rakes at putties i may have set u that rake if you take two 9/16 wrenches and tighten that clamp a little on the top of the shaft the wheel moves on you can stop that wheel flutter
Good job Sonne family 👍 need a keg of beer and a fire this fall and sit and listen to Brian stories! And that’s all I got to say about that 😎🇺🇸MERICA 🇺🇸💪🏻
Thanks Cole
Thanks boys you put a smile on my dial.
I’M Backkk. Been busy, catching up on your last 8 videos. Had my knee replaced on March 15th. Almost 100%.
Love the humor and the drone videos! Keep up the great work!
Thank goodness we had another, "did I ever tell you about the time" story ! Thanks Mr. Brian !
Absolutely true you learn more from your mistakes than doing it right every time. Great to hear a Brian Story. Glad your knee is healing and things are getting back to normal with you raking and Brian bailing!
Learn from the. Mistakes of others you can't live long enough to make them all yourself!!!Lolo
It is very interesting to see your Uncle Jeff and your Dad are teaching you the next generation in Farming it is interesting to see how things change and You are the next generation in farming . Thank you for letting us see this you and your family are great American people and I pray God blesses you and your Fanily
You and your dad are so lucky you get to work together every day , enjoy those moments !
I love these videos, reminds of time spent with my Dad
Nice drone footage!
Thanks Cole , we want to see more of Brian the star of the channel .
Glad to see the knee coming along. I, too, turned too sharp at an end one time - wasn’t pretty, but it was indeed a learning experience. That accumulator is a must purchase - best thing since sliced bread. Heck, I enjoy watching it.
Cole, thank you for all the cutting-raking-baling vids! The drone footage with music instantly soothes my soul.
Now would be a good time to dig out those ponds .
Thanks for the education, I learned a bunch. If I was 50 years younger I'd see if I could get a job....Lolo
Another good one Cole! Thanks!
Absolutely never get tired of your drone shots!!! :D
The multi-talented Cole Sonne can go up AND down stairs. LOL Love seeing the progress. Hang in there. You'll be back at full strength soon.
Please don't call me weird but, I find watching your field work videos relaxing. Thanks
"Don't look too bad if ya don't look at it!" So true! Use that phrase often!! 👍
First the stairs! Next...
the clutch!!
As usual, great show today !
See you next time.
Dad looked happy getting back in his baler. Those quads are really helpful around the farm and way more economical than a tractor.
Love the background music. Could watch that all day long. Thanks for sharing, and God bless.
Whoo boy, that rake sure sings the blues!
Cole doing those stairs is a huge step in the right direction glad to see your doing better
You are on a roll today! 1:19 2:52 4:00 10:43 Kept me laughing. Thank you!
My pleasure!
@@SonneFarms cole is the john Deere tractor hood fiberglass or metal?

Ooooh boy. Barbed wire. That's another level of fun. Tears up the knuckles and shins while installing! I don't envy the guys putting that in!
Thanks fella's, Ms. Ellie, TRENCH. Enjoyed the video.
At the beginning of this video, you were talking about how Jeff and your Dad had fixed the hood on the tractor and made the comment of" It doesn't look too bad as long as you don't look at it."

13:23 you are welcome from Goderich Ontario Canada
You can tighten those plastic bushings above the wheels and that will help with the wabble. I have to do mine often on my h&s
Lucky for y’all, some good rain is moving through this weekend.
Rains almost every day here in Pa. Wished I could send you guys some. We had a dry one last year so I expected more than average rain this year. Loved what you guys show and the neighbors field joke busted me up
Same here in NY. My neighbor and I say, as soon as it stops raining we have to mow the lawns or we won’t have a chance for another week!
Hey Cole! Your drone flying music is so good. Relaxing and visually entertaining to watch what the drone videos! Good editing, too.

We have the same problem and we have farms around us that won't spray or mow it and just let it take over drives me nuts
I'm jealous of that accumulator, I just picked up a quarter of CRP to hay and that would be so handy bunching up the bales like that!
13:50 get rid of foxtails too. Our pasture, I cut tops off of thistles, put'em on burn pile. Less of them next year.
boy im more hyped with you walking up and down the stairs than Bezos rocketing up and down the earth.
Hope you get some rain. We need some here in MN also.
Red food coloring in your spray shows you where you have sprayed those weeds in the paddock so you don't spray the one plants several times over driving around just a little trick work great have a good one . Frank from Australia!!!

So glad to see you doing so well after surgery..
Love the Johnny Bravo hair.
Great video as always!
