Brian, I am sure you know how fortunate you are to have at least one son who chose to stay with farming. You are blessed that that son is Cole and his dedication to you and the farm is undeniable, he is one of the hardest and most talented young workers I have seen on RUclips videos.
I was going to say the same thing as I saw Cole driving the cutter back to the barn on the hardtop. Those ditches look great this year but they won't need to cut them!
Well, with doing hay sometimes you just don't know how things will go, even with the best of planning you will be surprised by something. That hay looked really thick, I can see why you would have issues with it plugging and the standing water makes it worse. I think you and your dad did a great job getting the hay cut and baled and you had Jeff helping too, plus, plus, plus. Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend!
I hope y’all know how much you are appreciated! Farmers/Ranchers like you, Cole, and your dad and uncle Jeff are what make the country run! We couldn’t live without you and what you do! ♥️🥩🤩THANK YOU FROM MISSOURI
The good Lord sure has blessed you and Brian with the right amount of rain and sunshine to feed your cattle with all of that hay.... Love watching your videos
Thank God for wide and thick wind rows . Looks like you all wont have to by hay this year and no ditch hay this year . You and your Dad takecare Cole 🇺🇲🚜
Thank you for showing us the ups and downs of farming. For the past few years you endured the drought, this year rains and flooded crops, but lots of hay. And how you care for the herd to bring top quality beef to the American people. Just thank you for showing us the authentic American farmer way. May God continue to bless you.
This was such a great video I especially enjoyed the part where your dad was out there bench pressing the New Holland. Fabulous! It is such a blessing to see the awesome improvement over last year’s hay crop. Keep up the great work! And as always God bless Sonne farms and families.
Two of the hardest working farmers/cattlemen that I watch on RUclips. Cole, always seems like he’s in a good mood always positive. Brian, the same. Keep up the good work guys. Your videos are always spot on. The editing is beyond great. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed weekend!!
It's so gratifying seeing you have such a harvest of hay this year, after the scarcity the last three years. You have such a fine channel; it is great seeing the two of you working so well together. I am not a farmer, but I've learned so much from watching your videos. It's nice seeing just where our food comes from, and what goes into producing it for us. Thank you.
It is so good to see you Cole and Dad Brian one in one field and the other in a field right beside each other. So glad that you are having a good hay harvest.Thank you for sharing everything.God bless you all and your families.
Considering what y’all went thru last year to get hay, you have been blessed this year. Sonny is such great addition to the crew and you will be adding another hand in the future. Congrats to all.
Good looking hay Cole and Brian. Wish I could have gotten to smell the fresh cut . The cured hay looks good too. Ya’ll are very blessed with the hay this year. And looks as if all your crops will be the same. Be blessed
Hey Cole, watching the drone of you two out in that field made my heart feel good knowing that you guys were getting enough hay for the winter and being able to take care of cattle. God bless you both pray for good drawing and no problems finishing up the hang season.
Thanks for another great video Cole and Brian. It was super interesting and enjoyable to watch for sure. What fun to watch Sonny and Ellie play while being with you both. You have wonderful farm dogs there. Enjoyed watching them. Your concrete pad is coming along great. Too bad you had to pre-drill your stake holes due to older concrete under your pad but you are hanging in there. This concrete pad will be great for processing your herds. Nice job Sonne’s!!!!!!!!!!👍👍 You hay crop is fantastic!!!!! Wow!!!!! The windows are so thick and full. You are getting lots of bale count off of this hay crop. Thanks for the great drone footage today Cole. Really gives you a fantastic perspective of the hay field and the two balers working in the field together. Nice flying Cole!!!!!!! About it I guess. Thanks for everything. Busy time for you and Dad!!!! Hang in there Sonne’s!!!!!! The Iowa farm boy. Steve 😊😊👍🚜✅🇺🇸🇺🇸
It is so amazing the Difference one year makes. Last year you were desperate for Hay, any hay, heck you were even mowing ditches. This year you have already beat First and second cut from last year and it is only your first cut! Praise God for answer prayers for rain for your Family.
Howdy Brian, Cole, I hope ya'll are doing well, I gotta say, its really Cool to see all the bales ya'll are getting, way better than the past few years, we're having the kinda hay season up here in Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦, we have the same baler, 560 M JD but not the extentions ya'll have, a great baler, we've had no real problems with it, pretty much just your regular maintenance, I'm very happy to see all bales we're getting, last year in some of our smaller fields where we were getting 50 bales, are now getting 150 bales, and all our neighbors having the same fantastic hay season, just bales as far as you can see, Moms out cutting our greenfeed fields, will be baling them soon, I hope ya'll continue to have a great hay season, Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friends
That little dog is sooo cute , he just cracks me up . He sure seems to make Ellie happy, everyone needs a friend. I hope he lives for a long time. Oh by the way good video Thanks.
ás you were taking the hay cut er home, I noticed there were very wide ditches on both sides of the road still full of water. At least your fields aren't still under wa5er, my letters are coming up under the number setting, & numbers under the letter symbol.
Hi Cole, great video today. We sure do miss your Dad in your videos. I really pray, some jerk didn't say something bad. You two together are great. God bless
Me and my brother were talking about haying on our farm years ago , from stacking loose hay to small square bales to larger round bales . We agreed that the round bales were great. We both watch your channel and are always impressed with the haybine .
Great working team, smiles when the pups are playing, positive attitudes and still loving the drone footage and accompanying music. Coming from the north east I so enjoy and appreciate the variety, scenery, and lives you lead.
What a blessing for you all from year to year, fortunes change. From buying hay and cutting road ditches to a, from all accounts, bumper crop of hay. There isn’t a farmer alive who can predict the future. All you can do is do what you do and have faith.
If Brian is struggling to hammer the rebar that must be some tough concrete! Nice to see the progress on the farm. Boy the hay is wonderful this year! God is good.
Oh man Cole-what beautiful fields! Proves the theory of farming;it’s either feast or famine! So glad you guys are having the “feast”! Be Safe and thanks for another great video.
Crazy how last year you could barely find enough hay to row and now you could almost single them for enough. Great video as always! Thank you for sharing!!
When Sonny first showed up Ellie wanted nothing to do with him. Now all they want to do is play together. Nice to see you have gone from famine to feast with hay this year.
Well, you should be in a good place hay-wise this winter. Congrats for that pressure release of not having to buy hay later, hopefully. Nice video, it’s Fun to watch you pull grass outta the conditioner rollers 😅
Nice to have an escavator handy in the Case you need it. To enlighten all of us we need that song of the day. It goes down well while watching the farm chores.
Hey Cole, just a suggestion. Bring your cordless saws all along when you’re cutting hay. Works great to cut those clogs out. I use any dull blade but find the medium length wood blades work the best. Watch every video. Have a good one buddy. Kurt
Remember, if you don't have to stop once in awhile to fix the equipment it just means you're not working hard enough. You guys always work hard enough ! 👍
Great hay crop, all the poor cutter could handle. Ran a double sickle 10 ft Freeman in the 1960s. We had wetlands heavily fertilizered Lotus Major That woud even plug the pto Freeman on a 100 hp tractor That high growth grass hay likey has thick tough stalks. Think about chopping it before feeding. Much more palatable, less waste n more hay to meat conversion. Cows go crazy for 5he chopped drizzled mixed w molasses in cold weather. Not much wastage as long as they can still smell the sugar. They fight for it. Really kicks up milk production after calving
Love seeing Elly teaching the pup the ropes. We overlap our dogs for the exact same reason. Old teaching the young. Nice appreciated sidebar for the normal chores! 😁

From a year of doing ditch hay to a bumper crop man that’s great
I was going to say the same thing as I saw Cole driving the cutter back to the barn on the hardtop. Those ditches look great this year but they won't need to cut them!

After a few years of crop struggles it is great to see you putting away a plentiful hay crop.
