The 2nd story reminds me of the quote "I'm right on top of that Rose." from Don't tell Mom the babysitter's dead. In the movie she was told if her boss asks her any question while she is on the phone to answer that way. I use to think that was just in movies until I started seeing people do that in a real office setting. Some claim they are always on top of whatever it is even if they've done nothing.
I can't get over the backstory of the thumbnail. For those of you that don't know: the man in the thumbnail got high, "killed" his imaginary friend, then felt SO terrible about it, he turned himself in.
Last story, I used to live there, as a dependent not a soldier. The area where they train is called the Dust Bowl. It's a rocky desert terrain that is supposed to be a match for the Middle East. I remember there being a fairly venomous scorpion that was such a light yellow color that it was hard to see against the sand.
2nd story: 1st of all you made me laugh out loud for the first time dabney, good job! Also they should have totally called the cops on her for identity theft and credit card fraud. Not only that but blacklisted her so when she gets our of jail she has to change her career path

So, that last story, good God does my husband have to deal with similar stuff. I also used to be in, so thankfully I understand him suddenly needing to go in for basically no reason because someone screwed up. He used to be combat arms, and he reclassed to a medical MOS where he just fixes hospital equipment. The training was as long as mine had been (a year long and it was basically a whole college degree with certs that set you up for when you get out) so he could easily make six figures when he finally retires. What's really great, at the moment his 1SG is a literal creep who will tell a 14 year old girl to her face that she looks mature for her age, and as you can imagine, plenty of people in the unit took exception to him being a creep. And the same guy also tries to task him out at every chance, but now he gets yelled at by brigade and higher, because him doing so shuts down a brigade shop that services something like seven or eight other units, and they can't get my husband in trouble for anything, because he keeps extensive records. The CSM is supposedly looking into stuff, and my husband goes to ALC soon, and if he picks up, they are stuck with him until he hits 20 years and retires. Fun stuff.
Regarding the second story, I think "Oh, will you be in tomorrow?" (essentially the very same thing she said to OP when thinking they were fired) as a parting line would've been better.

Back when I was serving, not one officer demanded we greet them, a simple hello was sufficient ... except for mr I have my rank because I'm a doctor orf 30 something. We made it a habbit to make it as akward as possible, like when he was taking a piss.
Bruh, the story behind that thumb nail is so sad and so funny. Basically, the guy turned himself in for killing his best friend, but it turned out his best friend didn't exist turned out the poor man was mentally unwell
My relative was in a similar situation in the second story in the UK. He was called into HR for "stealing" over 50 biggish items and it was signed under his name (his last name is uncommon) in one or two cities. The thing is relative had two things to clear his name: his company truck and his daily diary. He showed his diary and pointed out where he was, what day he was when said item was stolen, etc and he showed the back of the truck with the items that he use for his work that he was unable to fit 50 biggish items. HR apologized to him and started to hunt down the culprit. Weeks later, relative found out a co-worker had something against him. Thought it was a great idea to get him fired over stolen items. He doesn't know if he was fired or not, all he knows is that the co-worker was punished.
3:50 Omitting the word home there changes the meaning quite a lot, the Home Office is a branch of the UK government responsible for the police, border force etc. So it was some kind of inter government agreement, rather than just an "office arrangement"
Story 2: I get that it's human to dislike someone, but seriously? Steal money and find a way to make it look like someone else did it? I'm glad she wasn't completely bright or else OP wouldn't have been able to prove that they were innocent and Evil was the real thief.

Re: A kick in the balls That moment when you wanted to just inconvenience an abuser but it turns out that they are going to prison for drug charges. At least we know that the abuser isn't gonna be hitting his girlfriend any time soon!
Story 1: She didn't get him hard enough in the crotch. If you do it right, their eyes will roll back in their head and they'll pass out. I know this because my (ex) husband decided to hit me. Then grabbed me by the front of my shirt. I executed a perfect knee to groin karate move (had training). He made a tiny noise, eyes rolled back in his head and he went down for the count. I made sure he was alive and went to work. Yeah...I was young and surprised by this nonsense.
How TF do you stay in the service for 15 years of war and not exceed Captain? My best friend and his wife were both Marines. He got out in 4 years as a 1st Lt. She was in for 6 and was a Captain when she resigned. If either of them had still been in after 15 years, they should have been way about Captain rank... I would think you'd want to be like a Lt. Colonel or close to it by then...
No joke folks, the new channel is amazing, cute and so funny that every episode I had to pause at least once because the joke was not even over yet. 💕 Dabney please keep it up.

Congratulations for the new channel. I always check RUclips before walking my Husky. And I've also listened to all of your videos. I kind of think you told the second story 😅
Should have reported “Evil” to the police. That is identity theft and in the US, that is a serious felony with jail time possible. I don’t recall if they stated the location of this event though.
Story #3 - thank you for your service and MOST ESPECIALLY watching out for your men! Dangerous leaders get our men killed & you protected your men (our men) & the nation from a F***tard leader who couldn't give two craps about lives. Thank you! - rSlash - this was a great story to do! Thanks!
OMG!!! I'm personally connected to the 'forced deployment' story. I know EXACTLY where and when this happened. I was in the army at this time. He went to Fort Irwin, CA. I specifically remember this rotation because it was the WORST one we had ever seen. I was part of the group that trained soldiers in real life combat scenarios. It's a lot to explain, but, we played the insurgents while the deploying unit did their field training exercises. WE DESTROYED THEM! The commander was such an idiot. Also, stories like this guy had is why I left the military. Command has a way of destroying who you are as a person. It's a very vindictive organization. There are many great people, but there are also many horrible people whom abuse their power.

Hey Dabney. I subscribed to your other channel yesterday and I love it. It's nice to put a face with the voice we all know and love. You have a very friendly face and I hope your new channel is just as successful as this channel. You are my favorite Reddit reader.
Love the new channel I'm glad we get to witness the sheer confusion and possible rage you may show us
I just want to say Thank you for having such high quality sound. I listen to your episodes using a Bluetooth speaker in a delivery truck and yours is one of only a handful of shows I can even hear over road noise. Thanks r/
Sooooo happy so see the face behind the video! Keep it up. There will be haters, but remember the people who love you and your channel will amount by millions in comparison! ❤️🇨🇦
I liked when Rslash used to put some TL;DRs of his videos in his description
I happy all the soldiers in the last story made it home. I'm sorry they had to suffer under such a terrible leader. Imagine situations like this are more common than I'd like to believe.
Well, an old Klingon proverb states Revenge is a dish best served cold. So you enjoy that cold tea, OP. Qa'Pla!
Yugo better make an appearance on the new channel. Puppy bloopers are a must!!
Literally just woke up from my alarm going off, Rslash is a good thing to wake up to!
Damn when the credit card their was on the way out OP should have said "oh, will you be in tomorrow?"
This is why I like laid back as cause instead of just doing 1 thing And not branching out you basically give the people what they ask for are make things like reaction videos and trend videos and things like that instead of just doing 1 single topic! It's really good for building a subscribe account cause you get more people interested in what you're doing so I think that you're gonna do great on your new channel and I hope it works out well for you😁.
Some injuries force you out of the military but the VA will be quick to say that it isn't service connected.
Is it just me or has rslash covered story 2 before? Perhaps I'm just confused 🤷♀️
@@ladyred1665 I'd swear he has and not too long ago either. Like within the last two weeks
I don't like this person so I'm going to commit a felony, that'll teach em
It's been amazing to see your growth! I love listening to your videos whenever I'm doing university work or cleaning the house, you have the perfect voice! Keep up the great work!
From one combat engineer to another, Essayons! But damn this revenge is hilarious 😂
TWO Dabney videos per day, this made my day better :D
For the second story as she was leaving he should've said "Guess we aren't going to have that meeting"
Bed on a bee hive? That’s evil. I love it
Re: A kick in the balls
That moment when you wanted to just inconvenience an abuser but it turns out that they are going to prison for drug charges. At least we know that the abuser isn't gonna be hitting his girlfriend any time soon!
I really appreciate a RUclips channel that brings reddit posts to me in a more directed and digestible framework. Thanks r/slash, whoever you are.
hes not even married to her and hes treating her like he owns her like wtf, I cant even imagine what he'll do to her if they were married
I just hope the first guy had made so many friends in Prison .
Home Office agreement. That would be something political between the ministers of the UK and Germany.
Jesus, I'm in pain just thinking about that. Well done!
This man uploads when my work ends, good stuff to watch after work.
If you start as enlisted, have enough smarts to go to OCS after a couple of enlistments, it could be.
Rip OP3's sister... That is... Heart shattering
Dabney is such a cool strange name! I've never heard it before! Love it!
No joke folks, the new channel is amazing, cute and so funny that every episode I had to pause at least once because the joke was not even over yet. 💕 Dabney please keep it up.
I love watching these in the morning whilst drinking my coffee.
Absolutely amazing leadership shown by the PSGT
Why do rSlash's stupid deez nuts jokes make me laugh? Every. Damn. Time.
Story 2: I swear Rslash has done this story already before. Could be wrong and was just autoplay from another channel but rslash is the only one I watch and I've heard this story before I'm so confused haha
Im so happy that you made a account named R/Limerick and if you didnt MAKE ONE
2nd OP's company should have call the police. She will just go to another company and try to rip people off there
They should make a movie out of that last story. I bet Clint Eastwood would be great in it!
seems like the kind of thing Gunny Highway would do
man I love that firetruck joke I gotta remember that
I decided to look up your channel on Google, and I finally got to see your face. You look great.
I can't be the only one that can picture him talking as he's reading now that he's shown his face 😁
Congratulations for the new channel. I always check RUclips before walking my Husky.
And I've also listened to all of your videos. I kind of think you told the second story 😅
Im so happy that you're almost at 2mil! Congrats, I'll support you the whole way :D
I hope that everyone is having a good Tuesday!
Should have reported “Evil” to the police. That is identity theft and in the US, that is a serious felony with jail time possible. I don’t recall if they stated the location of this event though.
I guess that guy got a real kick in the nuts at the airport too KEKW
The last story gives me Captain Sobel vibes from Band of Brothers
The kick that landed the BF in prison 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Damn ill check your channel when i can handle the shock knowing the face behind the funny reddit man
Story 2: me: *Sees the name of the antagonist* New years EVIIIIIIIIIL🎵
Story #3 - thank you for your service and MOST ESPECIALLY watching out for your men! Dangerous leaders get our men killed & you protected your men (our men) & the nation from a F***tard leader who couldn't give two craps about lives. Thank you! - rSlash - this was a great story to do! Thanks!
Why dose r/pro-revenge sound like Every news headline from Florida
They need to make a TV show called Captain moron LOL
The morning is never complete without my rSlash vid
Actually OP should have asked where she was, that they were waiting for her for the rescheduled meeting. And if she wanted to do it tomorrow.
Seeing several people say "first" is just fucking hilarious to me.
That’s why I put a letter and change it if I’m actually first…
@@twigs3293 lowkey well played
4:19 Man fuck that he was in jail for a few month! PUT HIM IN JAIL PERMANENTLY
The second story I woulda said at the end of it "so you coming in tomorrow" 😅
