I just started pressing. I enjoy seeing you as a somewhat new presser killing it. It would be great if you could post a video of you working a book from start to finish every week. No need to edit. Maybe even live. I'd watch the whole thing. Great work!
Thanks for the suggestion, I may just do that! I have limited time to work on books right now, but will explore that idea in the new year. Happy holidays!
Been watching the channel for a while. What really separates you from the other slabbers is can tell it's not all about clout and you truly enjoy the hunt and work you put into your slabs
Great return on your submissions. I think it's great how you've pretty much improved your childhood books, and now you are mostly cleaning and pressing for profit. You've been making the hobby pay for itself for awhile now.
Which one brings you more joy/excitement? Pressing a book you bought and making a good profit or getting a high grade on a book you’ve had since you were a kid? Great content! Keep it up!
Should/could these Transformers books be labeled as a multi-pack edition by CGC - or would they not do that because the regular direct and multi-pack editions are exactly the same?
@@joehenry9546 That’s what I thought they were. If there are no distinguishing features on a comic from a multi-pack, then it’s just a regular 1st printing that was gathered up and put in a bag - and shouldn’t have a different designation on the graded label.
I collected before we really even called keys keys.. In fact, I don't remember ever talking about keys with anyone until I got back into collector 2-3 years ago. A key is in the eye of the beholder, and non "keys" have a lot of value as well sometimes!
@@ImproveCollectingComics I dug through the comments so I could see if that question ever got answered. Just fingerprints? But to be on both the bag and the slab...
You paid WAAAAAAAY under market value. That's where most of your gains are from. It's kinda weird that you seem to be implying that your press and clean generated those gains but the reality is that the deal you got when you bought is what generated most of the gains. Good luck!

Wow. This Transformers comic adventure is really inspiring. I need to get to cleaning & pressing.
Thanks, and yes you should!

Hi and thanks!
Congratulations bro on all of those 9.8s on some awesome books! 👏🏾👏🏾😀
Congrats on the awesome submission!
Love those vintage Batman’s.
Ive had so much bad luck getting two 9.8s for similar copies. Almost like CGC doesnt like giving you two. Great work as always.
Great video man. Those Transformers books are beautiful
It be nice to get the cost, including shipping and grading, to really get a feel of how much you really invested and not just the cost of the book.
I include all the cost in my numbers! The buying cost and net profit all include the taxes, fees, shipping, etc!
You are Amazing. Keep up the great work and content.😊
I’m like a broken record great job again! I seriously think you’re the best clean press man out there. Do you have a eBay store? Love the content
Thanks! I sell mostly on shortboxed, link in the description
Wow, that transformers one
Stinks that you have to get it re-slab but hopefully that other one gets prescreened again

Childhood books, and it's not even close. And thanks!
Dust adhering to fingerprints. The dust is consistent with what the paper product is made of from the box, box packing.
Man.. whoever packed that must have ate a greasy cheeseburger right before shipping to me
@@ImproveCollectingComicsit’s not a cheese burger, but an Empanada!😂
Looks amazing! Miss chatting with you!
Thanks! Hit me up on IG sometime
Do you put them Up for auction or set price? Are you selling on eBay?
I sell mostly on shortboxed, but these are almost always gone before the videos go live. I am about 2 months behind on video editing
I think it would be fun to speculate wildly on what the deal is with that Transformers #1 slab and the bag it came in. Leave your theories below.
Asbestos.
Ah hell.. I'm in trouble! lol
My guess is they use axle grease for soap at CGC
@@ImproveCollectingComics Hahahaha! “Axle grease!” 😆
Love these videos

They’re not reprints though. These were unsold first prints, repacked in poly bags.

Congrats on the 9.8s.
Thanks!
Why are non keys getting cgcd lol....yaaaaawwwnn

Throw that bag away and wash your hands. 😂
I did, thanks for the tip! I doubt we really want to know what that really is... #scratchmuch?

I'm just waiting for the day you'll take on customers... :(

You are very right.. we make our money when we buy, not when we sell
looks like mold tbh
Ah heck, I hope not!
