Oh damn imagine, a new family staying at Riliane (Rin)'s previous home and over the next weeks, months, years they get a series of bottled letters seemingly from the same mysterious author (Who is actually Riliane, and for a pinch of sadness and ugly crying some of letters of Allen's (Len) mixed into it, these letters are sent out of order. Detailing her sins and regrets (since she'll be _beheaded and stuff_ if people found out she was the true Queen of the Yellow Kingdom so, she writes letters to cope with something she can never speak about.) and at the end of every note is her wish, "If i were to be reborn then I wish I could be with Allen as twins once more." And other variants of that.
There was a bond between the Twins and the mysterious Author, though they lived from a different time period and their lives weren't ever in danger unless you count the countless of junk food eaten. There was a strong sense of familiarity and an unsettling kind of understanding about the woeful Author who talked of a mysterious man who "gave her everything"..

@@jasonjohnson6593 tbh, I think that's the point of DoE. The lack of emotion shows the terror of what Pride did. They fueled Riliane's selfishness and made her uncaring and apathetic to others around her. The world centered on her and her alone. That was Daughter of Evil. The SoE and Regret Message feel like they have more emotion because they're being expressed finally. Through both Allen's and Riliane's eyes. SoE showing Allen's emotions while the demon kept Riliane's locked away and fueled her negative emotions. Regret Message being Riliane finally expressing her emotions after Allen's death and the demon finally leaving her.

This cover carry alot of symbolism and meaning. One of which is loss if a loved one or a dear friend and keeping tons of negative emotion to yourself while never telling someone about said problems. And when you realize it at the last minute, when you really need to talk about, you lost everything and everyone close to you and it'll never come back. It makes you break down in tears and wish you had that special someone in your life. Anyone who reads this, stay safe and explain how you really feel in this chaotic time.

Her sins couldn’t take her brother’s love away. If she really looks back, she’ll see he held no regret in his actions. Hopefully her regret can mature into acceptances and laments. Not all stories have happy endings and that’s the best case I can imagine for her. Also wonderful work as always Lizz

One of the things I realised about this song is that the character stays consistent, she's mourning what was taken from HER, not the people that she hurt.

There are two painfully sad moments in this song, the reuse of the Servant leitmotif in the final verse and the way the last couplet breaks off without an ending. Both are incredibly poetic and make the song by themselves.

When I say long after, it's like, at the end of time in chronicle of Evilious, like 1500-2000, I don't know (correct me if i'm wrong) while story of pride (yeah, because every vocaloid represents a sin - Lin and ren are pride-) pass in year 200-300 if my memories are good. Maybe, I can get wrong in the year.(so please correct me if this case happen)

Listening to this made me feel like I was in middle school again. The memories from this song came flooding back and I hit with a wave of nostalgia.
Your "Story of Evil" covers always make me cry. I think the main contributer to that is because I have a twin brother and it would break my heart if he were to die. Like a half was taken from me. Both of us don't want to live in different states because we don't want to live so far from each other.

This is by far the most emotional version of one of the Story of Evil songs I've heard. The soft and sweet piano symphony really emphacises Riliane's regret and pain as she realizes that it's her fault her beloved twin brother is dead. Amazing work Lizz ❤️

Notice the girl in white, that is Haku (don’t know the name of the character she plays in this story). She is the girlfriend/wife of Miku, the one Len killed by jealous wish of his queen; starting the war which saw the queen into exile and Len executed in her place.
She has her own song to this series of Evil which leads to “Waiting for a Response”
Clarith/Haku’s song is Daughter of White. ‘Waiting for a response’ is Riliane/Rin’s as she’s meeting the end of her life.
Also Allen/Len didn’t k1ll Michaela/Miku. The culprit was Ney/Neru. Michaela/Miku d1ed before Allen/Len came to help her.

Third n final. As if listening to the lyrics and Lizz wasn't enough to make you sad, but as well animated video to the song which just ups the feels to a whole nother level.
Her voice is the one of an angel. This song is so emotional and beutifull and everything. You can here the little tones of the previous songs whrn remembering and when Len appears. It's simply wonderful. Im so glad she decided to make these versions, its like revisit old times all over again

I'm obsessed with the Evillous story line and I was just listening to the songs again and and realized how sad the story actually is.
It's kind of ironic in a tragic way, his sacrifice is what let her reflect on her actions and decisions that she made while being a queen.
In a way, he unintentionally gave her a more long lasting punishment rather than escaping all of her crimes with death.

This story hit home plus her voice made me shutdown and time paused for me. Nothing else existed. I started crying a bit. This is truly artwork and the Japanese would be exceptionally proud of your voice and artwork

Pride- that's literally her main sin
Greed- she just took the money of the commoners when she couldn't have something and was very greedy when it came to food.
Envy- When she ordered Allen to kill Micheala because Kaito loved her.
Lust- It doesn't always have to be the s*x kind of lust- but I know something happend in the novel that made her commit lust idk what tho rn.
Wrath- When she destroyed a whole kingdom and she was always harsh to others.
Gluttony- In Twiright Prank you can see how Allen and Rilliane met Conichita when they were children an playing at the beach, since Rilliane didn't want to share her snack like Allen did, Conichita also possessed Rilliane and that made her greedy for any kind of food. In the Novel you can see she ate a extremely large birthday cake all by herself without any help and was still hungry after that.
Sloth- Sloth doesn't always have to do with Laziness or sleeping, it can also come with other reasons like, Rilliane neglected her duties as a Queen to take care of her kingdom and just did whatever she wanted.
Lust is related directly to pleasure so you could say she took pleasure in seeing people suffer for her own amusement; sadism at its most blunt.

If i were rin, i would have turned myself into the rebels after doing this. There is no way i could live with myself after this. I can barely live with the guilt i already carry. I can only imagine what i would do if i had i had caused the death of my brother and the fall of my kingdom. I know that would mean his death was in vain. But i have nothing left to lose in this scenario.

Oof. I just listened to all three of your english covers back to back. Never heard of this story before now and damn it hits hard. Like she deserves all the pain and tears she has for there's only herself to blame and she is a monster. At the same time however I cannot help but feel really bad for her... Also I feel mega bad for the blue haired dude having went and found his love murdered. Such a sad tale but dammit it all if your voice aint angelic. It along with the music is so beautiful and yet so sad at the same time. I didnt even think those two feelings could exist together. Just beautiful....
The princess was possessed by the Demon of Pride, so that’s why she’s such a tyrant. It’s was all planned by that “blue-haired dude’s” mother to make her kingdom go down.
Story of Evil is way more complex just for the 3 songs (not including Re-birthday cause it’s not part of this). It’s has its own Wikia Daughter of Evil.

I literally cried again, i miss this song so much that i had to replay it multiple times.
This is one of those songs that hits different when you listen to it as an adult that has actually felt a similar pain to what is portrayed in this series of songs than it did when I discovered as a 10-year-old kid-
