    I haven't ridden your banshee bike, so maybe the power falls off hard on the very top end.. but it really sounds like you're not quite revving it enough. You're shifting it kind of early on the top gears. (your take off is pretty great.).. On banshee's, they have really small pistons and their powerband is way high in the RPM range. As opposed to like a CR500 2stroke, which will have that grunt torque on the lower end.. So you really have to keep the banshee at red line to get the full power out of it.. It seems a little high geared, but that's actually good- so you don't pop wheelies. But that means that you probably don't need that last gear. Just keep it screaming to the end, and never shift into that last gear... Because that last gear drops your RPM's so low that it's no longer in the power band really on the short track... I could be wrong and maybe the doppler effect is playing weird with the mic and making it sound that way. But it really feels like you're shifting too early and bogging the engine too low on those last two gears. You want your engine to stay violently screaming at the redline, but still pulling hard under load.. So run it as only a 5 speed and don't use your 6th's gear and I'm sure you would get better times.

    Great job on the builds! Just a helpful suggestion, if you don't have a tachometer on the quad, put one on and see where your rpms are at, if those are stock pipes for that motor, it sounds like the rpms are running too high, put heavier cam arms in the primary clutch and get it down around 8000 rpms, you will accelerate faster. I have learned that being a snowmobilier for a long time. Good luck!

    Kid needs to learn about burnout boxes, fully heating the tires up and then rolling out of the wet spot 😅 and body English. throwing his bodies weight forwards at launch to hold the front end down and forcing it to maintain traction as his buttocks remain as far back as possible.. The engine now residing in the grom doesn't start making itself seriously known until way up the Rev band,and short shifting it simply slows down your et drastically.

    I'd say you have it a little too low geared now on the dragster. You might try to go up just one tooth on your front sprocket. It will give you more top end, and make it not pop a wheelie so easily. I'd go ahead and buy a +two front sprocket also. For really high top speed fun.. You can swap them at the track on the same day and see the different numbers that it makes. Just keep changing the gearing until you get it just right.. It's worth the little money it takes to get those sprockets, since the front sprockets are so cheap; plus you'll end up using them on other projects too, I'm sure. Plus every time you change it, you learn how to be more intuitive with gearing in the future; and understand how it feels to change one tooth or two teeth, etc. It's great knowledge to have. Just keep walking that gearing in until it's perfect... If the front is welded on.. Just drop a few teeth down in the rear... Edit-- Right on.. You were already on it.

    I'd suggest doing some clutch tuning on that 600 maybe even a different clutch all together I put a comet 108 4 pro on myn and it made a huge difference that engine normally peaks out at 8000 rpm if you get the clutch set up so that where it stops you will be golden

    As for that fuel issue, what you need is a pet cock that has a larger diameter inside tube. This will it to flowered fuel so the carburetor doesn't starve for fuel. They recently did this to a newly bought bike on Cars and Cameras. It's a Honda two-wheeler. The engine has a displacement of 125 cc.

  • @jefferyholcombe5189
    @jefferyholcombe5189 Год назад

    Turbo the 600 Triple and you would be way further ahead, want more power just turn up the boost. At least till it blows the tires off it or blows up because it is making so much power! Then you can use boost by speed and traction control to pull power out of the bike's by lowering the boost via an electronic boost controller. Possibilities for the money spent turbo is the way to go to make ground pounding power and acceleration!

  • @tejdz1337

    That is a sweet quad, I would add a tach to it so you can really tune that bad ride in. You can also change your weights and spring in your primary as well as your helix in your secondary clutch to really get that bad ride dialed in. but you really need to know your RPMs.

    roll your tires in the water, roll out of the box, then do a burn out. your tires still have water on it which is not good. you are doing a burnout INSIDE the water box and thats not how to do a burnout. for a motorcycle i would roll in give it a lil spin to make sure all tires are wet, roll forward and then do a burnout and swing it a little side to side so all water is off your tires. your doing great man, just a little practice. you do it this way for cars and anything with wheels really. your tires will have much better traction.

    Not sure if I’ve been doing it wrong or if you are lol but im pretty sure you are supposed to roll through the water box then once you get through it then you do the burnout so it cleans the water off and heats the tire up. Either way it was cool to finally see these things on the track.

  • @GhostedEgo
    @GhostedEgo Год назад

    When you do a burnout on the grom , don't stop in the water. Make sure you just get the back tire wet , then move to a dry part of the track and do the burn out. When you do a burn out in the water , then move forward you are getting your rear tire wet and it looks like it's spinning a little off the light. It'll make your reaction time way better. Btw , you are the beast bro ❤❤❤❤❤
