Do you think that engine was a good choice im about to use the same one for a cross kart/ dune buggy build, I don’t know if it’s going to be enough power?
Clutching is so important with these engines. I spent weeks trying to get it right with my 670 swapped fl350. So many sharpie marks on my primary and secondary. Was doing so many street runs the neighbors called the cops.😂
Great build man! This is going to help me create my future project. A Snomotrike! Basically I wanna do a 600 triple in a Honda three wheeler frame. Good stuff!
My favorite build of yours 👍 I would recommend a back rest on the seat, that way your butt takes all the force and you're not hanging on with the handle bars.
The thing I'd worry about is the steering at high speed. I know the motor is capable of taking you over a hundred miles an hour, just not sure about the rest of it. Cheers!
Yooo vasiiy I know your super busy and probably don’t have much time but could you share with me how you mount the secondary clutch on the jack shaft? I build a lot of snowmobile swaps and I alway have trouble mounting jackshafts and getting custom ones
Looks like you're driven. Spring pressure is too high, or your helix is to step. It could also be the wrong weigt profile. It's a clutching issue, not a gearing issue.
Its beautiful! The new look offers practicality like never before. Drag racing...obviously. A first date, why not. Doughnut run...bam done! Romantic stroll on the beach...perfect. Black tie affairs...Bond would be jealous.
your clutch engagement rpm is too low ( need around 4000 RPM engagement ) and you will have to check your shift rpm ( with a TACH METER so it is near the peak HP rpm of that engine ( proly around 8000 RPM and stay there for the 3/4 length of the track) and a bigger back sprocket would help a lot but don't go higher than 500 RPM ABOVE the shift rpm to avoid engine damage :)
Awesome ride, please get some gear when testing. I remember when you broke your tibia a while back and I wrote you then cause mine was broken at same time. I am quit a bit older and breaks take a lot longer to get better. I would hate to see you get hurt again.
Great job buddy!! I wish your videos got more views, I share them quite often. That 2k clearcoat is definitely the best for hobby or diy use. I repaineda whole fender on my F250 with duplicolor paint and the 360 2k clear, and the difference between my paint and the dealer paint is minimal (in terms of appearance). Thanks for the great content, keep it up bud!!!
I think you need to Tachometer To see if you’re under or over Reving..Dealing with the same thing right now on a sled engine swapped scrambler.. think I’m going to try 140 - 350 spring with 56 gram Weights in the primary..
Like it's just so you know next time you screw around with some gering the smaller the back sprocket the faster you go the bigger the back sprocket the more torque you get 4 idiots a bigger the back sprocket the slower the bike will go but it will climb everything 2004 Honda trx400ex change the rear sprocket from 38 to 36 went from 75 miles an hour to 90 mph
You'll need to talk to someone who builds the snomo drag wheelers. Launching has everything to do with the clutch weights and springs on the secondary. Yes you need the proper sprocket. Probably not that big sprocket. You have 100+ horses to pull you.
This is why the RUclips algorithm pisses me off! Although I'm a subscriber with my notifications set to "all", I never got wind that he even built this thing! The engine looks familiar, but the frame isn't. I'm going to have to go back and re watch when he built this. Totally annoying!
I'm a little confused. You put the Radiator up on the top near the handlebars to give it much better airflow for cooling, then you stuffed it in farings that reduced the airflow 50%?
So, with larger rear sprocket you’re losing top speed but gaining torque down low. That large sprocket could touch the ground with those tires. How about dropping the front sprocket a tooth or two.
I think your issue is variator and rear pulley tuning. Go a couple grams lighter on the variator weights which will get you further into the revs . Then adjust your spring rate on the rear pully accordingly.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for not saying, "without further adieu" like every effing person on YT that has apparently forgotten that there are *other ways* to transition out of your intro. Also the paint is way sick.
Bring those clutches to someone who knows what there doing ....if its not shifting into top gear there is a problem ...all in all wicked build kid awesome keep up the great work cheers
The responsible thing to say is put pants and long sleeve shirt on when welding, but most of us garage builders just wear what we have on. So who am I to judge 😅
That paint looks Great.(I've been looking at it for months, and debating on doing a bike with it.Glad you showed it off so well).I'm with 'notimegarage8632' on changing the weights in the Driver a couple ounces. The weight kits aren't expensive, and allot easier to test than changing your gears and chain.>Happy Freedom Day everyone!
The best solution for a coating, for this machine, is Steel-It, in spray bombs. You can weld right through it, and touch up the finish, once a weld cools down. Maybe cut that radiator fairing's openings out completely, and attach mesh from the back/inside.

It looks so good 😍 mess with the spring and weights, so you dont have to run the massive sproket
Exactly what I was about to say!
Great job Vasily! Looks like a real blast to ride!
Nice colour on the chassis! Keep up the great vids! Cheers from the Netherlands!
Know it’s a good day when vasily uploads
Keep the vids coming dude !
Great build man! This is going to help me create my future project. A Snomotrike! Basically I wanna do a 600 triple in a Honda three wheeler frame. Good stuff!

You can also chang the waights in the clutching that would prob be better then changing the sprocket!
That paint looks amazing! Your build is looking sweet. Coming along nicely. Great work 👏,👍
you are amazing keep up the great work
keep it up
Man that thing looks so sick with that paint job..... great work brother!!!!
Can't wait to see it at the track 👍
I’ve got an 40t Rental Sproket 525 I’ll send it out if it’ll help bud. Bought it for my zx10r wrong size.
The thing I'd worry about is the steering at high speed. I know the motor is capable of taking you over a hundred miles an hour, just not sure about the rest of it. Cheers!
That is so sick, do more videos like this 😊
Looks great, but still seems like it's geared too high (especially for 1/8th mile pulls). Curious to see what it will actually do on the strip!😉
Ur amazing dude
the size of that sprocket 💀
Yep, pretty dope sir, just need some spring/weight work.
Sweet quad can’t wait to see you at the 1/8th
Vas , thanks for great content 👏🏾👏🏾
That paint job looks so good
The paint job looks sick! I think cars&cameras used the same front wheels on their dragster.
Always enjoy your videos!
Keep them coming! :D
This monster is amazing with this paint and front grill. Love the sound of this engine!
First
Yooo vasiiy I know your super busy and probably don’t have much time but could you share with me how you mount the secondary clutch on the jack shaft? I build a lot of snowmobile swaps and I alway have trouble mounting jackshafts and getting custom ones
Only know for xcr 600 is 12" mounting distance and fits on 1" shaft
Man there are so many good RUclipsrs putting out consistent entertaining vids! Hard to keep up!!
Looks like you're driven. Spring pressure is too high, or your helix is to step. It could also be the wrong weigt profile. It's a clutching issue, not a gearing issue.
MAAAAANNNNNN THAT THING WAS FLYING!!!😮 And that end shot, with the storm in the background😍😍😍😍👌👌👌👌👌
Its beautiful!

Again call Flannery Motorsports and built a XCR 800 Triple and Doug's pipes! Same engine case bolt pattern and engine design
I’m watching and intrigued! Wanna race a baby cub (421cc)in the sand at SIlVER LAKE SAND DUNES?? Hit me up brosky

Go with a smaller front sprocket and a larger rear sprocket. Don't over size the rear. Reducing the front will increase your rmp.
That thing Flys!
What an ANGRY looking sky!! 😳🥺😡😡🌩💥 Great build, Vasily! 🙂

There is so much tuning capabilities with a snowmobile clutch. Both the driven and secondary.

Sounds wicked Im into 2 stroke RC not willing to risk my body gloves and some gear Brother
Bring those clutches to someone who knows what there doing ....if its not shifting into top gear there is a problem ...all in all wicked build kid awesome keep up the great work cheers
What about panelling the whole quad to improve aerodynamics?
1 minute in and already 40 seconds of unskippable adds😂😂😂 youtube got me fucked up but a mans gotta eat and build so im not mad.
Paint looks very nice, love all your 2 stroke builds 🤩
bro make a chain gaurd pls. If that thing breaks your gonna be glizzyless
Awesome build. The blues rock during assembly was a great touch.
The responsible thing to say is put pants and long sleeve shirt on when welding, but most of us garage builders just wear what we have on. So who am I to judge 😅
I run 72 tooth
Great job as always but I would love to see one of these RUclips builders build a turbo changed thunder cat motor
Bro gave me 2vintage flashbacks with the song in the beginning💀 great vid🔥
I have that same exact thumb throttle on my race quad. I needed to modify it a bit to make it comfortable for moto but otherwise pretty decent.
I'm not going to lie to yo bro that thang is slow I bet that banshee dirtbike would eat that thang alive. Ik it would. Maybe even the gocart to lol
I appreciate all of the different content builds on this channel
Put a clutch guard on that before you get killed or maimed!!!!!!!!!!
Have you done any work to the clutch like changing the ramp or weights
@8:48 HOLY💩!!!!! She tore out of the hole like serious money is on the line!
Take that motor off and throw it in the trash and put a crotch rocket motor on it something like a cbr900 motor
It is so light, if it's not carrying the front tire out of the whole? Then it's not geared correctly for the 1/8.
It really needs the fart can mufflers after the expansion chambers😂
4:58 easy does it... don't scratch the paint..... aww shit! 😅😂😂
Need to see it with a bigger sprocket and a tight cluch / cvt / belt and wheelie bars
Good work man !!! Respect! Stay Safe and have fun
bro be careful with those cutoff wheels they aren't meant for side loads
Just leave it geared a bit tall and give it wet bump of nitrous. 20 shot. 😁
To much parasitic loss on that belt clutch doohickey...
To me, it sounds like your clutch is slipping.🙆🙋
It’s so green and lush this time of the year in Mexico 👍😂
And you need to do something with the pull handle dragging the ground.
That will go all the way through the neighbor's house for sure!
Sick!
That's cool. You gonna whoop up on that Banshee now???
You should have cleaned the engine up more and repainted the heads.
You need a jackshaft, so you can run sane sprocket sizes.
I use the 2k max works very good like you mentioned.
“And the rust was pissing me off” 😂
Dude that paint is awesome!!!
Stay safe out there!
Its going to be super fast with sprocket change
Hey could u build a drag dirt bike like the slammed one
I run a 96 tooth rear sprocket on my snomo drag quads
Are you not using the motorcycle transmission?
Why exactly are you using a CVT?
That's a hot helper you've got there Vasily.
Cut your tig wire in half atleast bruh..
Nice paint color choice. Looks awesome.

If I’m using that color shift spray paint I don’t need a black base coat if I’m already using black primer correct?
Yes
Why not change the clutching also?
The guy I got it from clutched it for me
@@VasilyBuilds needs better clutching. It’s not leaving nearly hard enough
