Amazing content, one of the best channels by far for underappreciated South East Asian history!

Fun content to hear as a Korean. Thai fought for South Korea in the Korean war. And till this day North Korean refugees must pass China and Laos to finally get their freedom in Thailand to be able to get to South Korea. Gratitudes to Thailand.

Your content is just like out of nowhere to surprise me as I never heard of any diplomatic relations between Ayudthaya and Korea.
Thank you very much for your works.

Nai Gong sounds like a Thai word "นายกอง" or low level chief of staff in Thai. It's a title, not name. Why wasn't the name recorded anyway.

It's uncertain why the name wasn't recorded. The Koreans made had mistaken the title for his actual name when it was recorded in the Goryeosa
