Please add a Mack Stryker coaster Kings Island. It would be a perfect fit and check all the boxes. It would finally give us a ride with ejector airtime and offer an intense and fast pace ride experience. Plus it would be the modern launch coaster they need
All of this comments section is what I’ve been saying for years now. In the case of the Stryker, the last few months. But I’ve been screaming, shouting from the rooftops for any of the suggestions mentioned here to be our next ride.
KI ...wow what a park. Finally made it there in 2022...for the 50th and to finally ride the beast. Born in 75 and being an enthusiast that has been a bucket list. The re tracked areas were nice. Not sure what they were before. Great theater too the dancing zombie bell hops to happy feet...EPIC
Here’s the upcoming things I’d love to see done at the park. 1. Keep the structure of the entrance just revamp the facade, remove the shops there and add a few more entrance lanes. 2. Remove Congo Falls and invertigo and replace it with a Mack water coaster or a modern log flume. 3. Refresh Coney Mall and bring back the old entrance. 4. Refresh the 2 entrances to the Snoopy areas by bringing back the ivy canopy walk ways (with some benches) that used to be there. (Carowinds still has one) it’s a great way to sit and relax. 5. Remove boo blasters and bring back Phantom Theater. 6. Take the Crypt building and add a cool indoor flat ride again or if not the front entrance put an another water ride back in Rivertown. A log flume/coaster dropping out of that building would be cool. 7. A massive launched Vekoma inversion machine in Vortex plot of land. 8. A gerstlauer skyroller back in Area 72. 9. A lot of the bathrooms could use an overhaul. 10. KI is one of the few CF properties without a Ferris wheel. 11. Bring back the entertainment to the festhaus. 12. Use the old sob station for a Stryker coaster that interacts with the Bat and Banshee. 13. Retheme action zone to flying creatures.
If I decided to take up the ownership of Kings Island, here’s what I would do: - Give the Coney Mall area a much-needed overhaul. This would involve adding a few new flat rides, bringing back the entrance sign, and adding a new park museum. - Remove Invertigo and Congo Falls to make way for a new B&M Surf Coaster, which would pay homage to their former King Cobra coaster. - As for the front entrance overhaul, I'd go for a different style, something like a combination of Chocolate Town at HersheyPark and the entrances found at the Universal Parks. - I predict that the Vortex plot of land could be prime real estate for a new Mack Rides Extreme Spinner. - I think that the park will look to bring back their former Phantom Theater attraction in a whole new way, which would utilize the Boo Blasters building and a few surrounding ones. BTW, I love this concept for this new series involving 5 questions concerning the future of a theme park. As for the next park I want to explore on this series, I'd go for a park like Knott's Berry Farm.
As a lifelong fan and visitor of Kings Island, the comment in your 5 burning questions for KI about the restaurant above the entrance never being used is wrong. This used to be the elegant International Restaurant that was open from basically the park's debut until the late 90s or early 2000s. It was a great place to rest, relax, enjoy some good food and cool off. Not sure why it closed other than maybe unticketed people sneaking in. Since Cedar Point is removing Snake River Falls, I could see Congo Falls coming out although being splashed by the boats on the exit ramp is pretty refreshing. The Bat is a great break-in family coaster and Invertigo because it is the last of its kind in North America deserves to stay. All for removing Timberwolf and putting in an entrance area coaster. Let's just hope KI's management puts thought into their next move unlike Disney World which with their latest update is aiming to ruin Frontierland.
Ok for the action zone area of the park. Personally I don’t think they need to take out the bat. The bat is hidden because there’s nothing near there since Son of Beast is no more. They need to do something about that section first because at least in 2022 when I was there you could still see the old Son of Beast platform. I believe only half of the SOB plot was used by Banshee so build on the other half and have the entrance near the bat. They can then deal with Invertigo to get a nice entrance coaster or something like that. But I think the Bat is safe. Cause there’s so much room to expand there already.
I was there 2 weeks ago. We had a great time! Having said that, The Bat>>>>> Invertigo. Invertigo needs to go first. Also, KI needs to hit a home run with their new Roller coaster, hopefully in 2026. While I really enjoy Orion, it’s a really good silky smooth coaster, KI missed a huge opportunity with it. Needed to be taller and longer and more air time. Hopefully Mack is the choice for the Vortex plot of land.

After the merger with Six Flags, two other questions I have are when we'll see DC and Looney Tunes characters make their way into the parks, and will Soak City remain included with admission or will it they start charging for admission like what they're doing at other Six Flags parks?
After the recent coaster names / themes for SF Great America and SF Over Georgia. I’m not sure you’ll see much characters from DC cross over going forward
I think they could fix the front entrance just by adding a facade on the outside to make it look like a castle or something. They can then renovate the ticket area and add a front gate coaster.

not seeing KI removing congo falls. in the first month of the season before the waterpark is opened on the weekends it can be packed. also only takes 2 ride ops to operate.
Diamondback in the front row (or second, it offers basically the same experience but with a shorter wait) is just as good as - or even better than - the backrow 😁
@@TP_Recommendations diamondback is a phenomenal coaster on top of everything at Kings Island. I think diamondback is my favorite at KI and doing millennium force a day after. I think Orion is a better giga.
I think Bat will stick around a while. Invertigo sure, they could stick something good there or redo the entrance, but they don't need to start removing coasters without replacements with how busy KI gets. They're probably filling the Vortex plot in 2026, with something potentially replacing Invertigo or going out behind Bat and Banshee around 2030, or they could go with an indoor coaster that was on one of their surveys. That would put a Bat replacement several years off. Hopefully if one of the other parks pulls the plug on their Arrow Suspended coasters, the parts keep Bat going.
Seeing what BGW did with Loch ness, another old arrow ride, its very possible KI does the same thing with the bat. They are already a park known for doing a lot of roller coaster work ( they built the beast afterall:)
First time to King's Island in 28 years this past weekend. Had a great time. Thought the main entrance was such a great way to start the visit....I liked it a lot better than Cedar Point's.
I hope they put a gravity fed looper there. Again i dont want a B&M. Vekoma custom looper like Blue Hawk? Yes. Gerstlauer ininity? Yes. I want more actual loops like vortex though so you get the negative G's instead of only positive forces.... They have to make it fit right though. The lighting has to fit in with coney and it has to be visually pleasing from the walkway past stunt coaster.
I am not for taking out the entrance with the restaurant, it is great having dinner there when they have the Winterfest buffet and NYE party, it is designed that way to keep you from seeing it to build suspense till you walk into International Street like you said. A new coaster that goes in the Invertigo, Congo Falls, Timberwolf that goes over the entrance plaza like you mentioned would work and look great. I think an Infinity Coaster like they were asking about is the best choice for the Vortex plot. I'd also like to see them go back to Soak City again in the next few years and add something else to it, they have plenty of land out there to expand it and hope we don't have to wait another 9 years for something new to Soak City like we did this time, with them adding a new water coaster to Soak City, I am betting the park is going to have a very busy year, people have been asking for something like this for years.
I have always shared a lot of your opinions and I agree that a ride like Voltron is probably what they'll shoot for now that B&M is in a lawsuit over the restraints on the surf coaster and can't build another one until it's resolved. It'll be their future ride for the front gate themed after the old King Cobra if they do it.
KI is my home park, and there are a few things I’d hope they do. The biggest being The Beast, it needs nothing done to it HOWEVER, you have a choice to make with The Beast, capacity per hour or historical value which do you want to have because you currently cannot have both. This survey makes me believe they would retrack it hybridizing the wooden coaster. Secondly, the area that is next to the Beast where the Vortex sat is prime real estate for a new coaster that interacts with the Beast maybe a resurrected SoB seeing as KI has EVERY and I mean EVERY piece of the theming and even original track pieces from SoB (Son of Beast). Last, as you mentioned, The Bat. It won’t go before Invertigo IMO, but, it will go when the land acquisition takes place. Numerous times KI has talked about buying the plot of land that sits left of the Bat and left of the Banshee totaling something like 130 acres of land. Overall KI seems to be prepping for a bigger expansion than some may think. As any home park, I’ve witnessed a lot of things in the park that seem to lean towards the park getting bigger not just rides being replaced
Name suggestion for the new version: Conjoined Twin of Beast By the way, I love the idea for this new series. Other parks for this kind of list would be Silver Dollar City, The Lost Island, Six Flags Over Texas, Knoebels (does anyone ever know what to expect for this place?), Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (since its role in the Bay area is about to change dramatically) and finally Wild Adventures (as in, will ANYTHING ever happen with this park?)
I visited KI for the very 1st time this year! Had a blast, great park! A spectacular launch coaster in the vortex plot would be amazing, but it has to be incredible. They need to wait for the technology to get better and get something better than maverick or velocicoaster, or pantheon. People need to say that it is the best launch coaster in the US! In the meantime my pic is use the old son of beast station and get gravity group to build the shuttle coaster with the inversion that Dorney was going to build but then decided to cancel and build iron menace. A wood shuttle coaster with an inversion in between banshee and the bat would be my pick!
5 Burning Questions about ________________ is a great idea for a series. I hope it takes off for you. I can think of many I want discussions on: Silver Dollar City, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, BG Williamsburg, etc. You can go on for awhile.
Never thought about the Mack Stryker. That would be an insane addition. Ive been really hoping for a Mack Extreme Spinner. Something that can do a double loop to pay homage to vortex
I wish they could bring in another 'scenic' ride like Adventure Express. Stuff to look at during the 3 day wait for a 3 second ride. lol Chaos & Screamin Delta Demon in Opryland are still my favorites. SDD was like walking through the bayou after a hurricane or something & Chaos was inside & an industrial theme. Shoot, I'd do it in 2 parts since the scene portion can be as much as another coaster. Build the scenery & 1/2 the coaster then in a few years add the other 1/2 of the coaster (if that plan doesn't jeopardize the coaster's structural integrity, safety, & stuff.) And I'd always keep a poster drawing of the full layout on display in the line so people would get a better understanding of things. The 1st 1/2 would not be as long as a normal ride but it'd have most of the intense parts then in the expansion you can add the top speed & other stuff
We should be worried. If kings island goes with a dive or wing, it’s going to be devastating. A Mack extreme spinner makes the most sense, but cedar fair (now six flags) will just continue to add force less BnM’s.

I've been saying remove the amphitheatre, Invertigo, and congo falls for about a decade now. EVERYONE, even coaster content creators, said they would never do that. I've gotten into heated debate after debate for years now about this. Suddenly everyone is starting to say it Happy everyone is seeing the vision I was so proud of, but also bittersweet since I've gotten called a dreamer, irrational, "don't know what you're talking about", etc for years for this idea. But hey, it'd be a great update to the park and I'm all for it. Maybe Invertigo can take a short trip to Indiana Beach
Honestly the beast is fine in its current form however if the park feels it needs to be extended I think it should extend further into the forest down into the valley and maybe interact with Union Run as well.
Ki Has enough coasters. What Ki needs is an indoor dark water ride based on a mine train. I don't think KI is going to put in any coaster for some time due to the merger.
No they lost vortex and banshee is suspended, need an another for that part of park. Walking by that part and not seeing anything is bad for the park. They lost a massive looping coaster when they took vortex out.
I know the bat been having some on and off issues recently. For Congo falls it’s was not so popular when I saw it. For the amphitheater I think it’s used onse a year if that. The issue is how much is it gonna cost to remove Congo, invertigo, and the amphitheater. For the front entrense I agree. I know the restaurant above it was used a lot when I went for Winterfest for private events.

Funny you mention The Bat being removed. Canada's Wonderland has spent lots of $ to keep Vortex up and running, including building/machining their own parts as they aren't available from the now defunkt Manufacturer...😅 Currently Vortex is the top 4 in the Park, until Alpen Fury in '25.. You really need to get up to Wonderland in '25.. not only for Alpen Fury, but our top 3 B&M's. Leviathan, Behemoth and Yukon Striker. Ride Vortex and certain you'll agree it's better than The Bat😊
I look for Invertago and the log flume to get removed when the time comes to redo the entrance and do the same as Carowinds or Cedar point with a coaster
I would put either a smiler clone, or a Hangtime clone in Vortexe’s spot. Then in outpost five, I would bring back the son of beast with his lift hill going over banshee. Then I will put a Marc spinner somewhere in the woods so it’s night rides will rival Beast

IDK, we need to think of it as a GP visitor would on a modified beast. The Beast while iconic and the best night ride has more than usual *dead* space/straight track. Many feet of its layout is meh being honest. If KI does revamp Beast I could only see it if the layout is modified not simply stick on additional track making it basically two coasters. If it’s a complete rethink it may be alright. With the online backlash I don’t think it will happen.

I would love an RMC! Don’t know where to would go, I would not like them to touch the Beast but maybe over in the area where SOB was. Idk, the wood aesthetic is an iconic look for an amusement park and RMC is on some mad stuff lately. The Bat is a direct copy of The Vortex at Canada's Wonderland. The wonderland ride goes off the mountain however and is very popular...meanwhile the Kings island version is in a field. Likely why the variance in popularity. 😊😮
The Bat isn't in a field, it's back in the woods, which us a large part of the appeal. I was just there last Saturday and it's line was as long as many other coasters.
11:56 All 3 of them are also either inverted or indoors, making a outdoor standard track looper a hole in the Kings Island line-up. I personally just hope Vortex's replacement gets built before Invertigo's removal happens so we finish making up for the losses of both Firehawk and Vortex.

Not this year outside of the school band awards in the spring. They tried a concert series in 2022 for the 50th where they charged a separate ticket and most of them weren't even half sold so they axed that. In 2023 they brought back the Spirit Song Christian Music Festival that was held there before Covid and for some reason they decided not to bring that back this year so Timberwolf has pretty much sat dark this season. I could very well see KI trying the Carowinds approach where the concerts are free with park admission (which is what they should've done in 2022 all along) however I doubt it as there is a lot more competition in the Cincy area for concerts than Charlotte. I think going forward Timberwolf will only be used for the school band awards in the spring and sit dark throughout the summer and be used as Haunt/Winterfest setup and then when they're ready to use the space it then comes down.
When i went to KI for the first time i ended up waiting at least half hour to an hour maybe 2 hours just to ride the bat. I'm hoping they keep that ride because it is a lot faster than Iron Dragon at CP. Edit: Why get rid of Invertigo when you can either 1: Transfer it to another small park like Michigan's Adventure or a big park like Knotts Berry Farm or another small park on the OG Six Flags half of the parks (before the merge) Or 2: Move it to another section of the park cause we all know that Kings Island will regret getting rid of the ride like they did with Volcano the blast coaster and Vortex R.I.P. to both this rides 😢😢😢. Edit 2: I really hope Kings Island gets a Mack Spinning Coaster and make it to Vortex's Revenge and theme it to Tornadoes and Hurricanes with a Vortex in the middle.
Don’t see the front gate coaster ever happening. Restaurant, Human Resources and Maintenance area is all lined up that way. Invertigo and Congo falls I could see removed though, Timberwolf just got updated back in 2022
Yet Timberwolf sat dark this season outside of the school band awards in the spring. The updates they did in 22 were very minimal TLC and the concerts they tried then didn't work out. In fact I believe one of the performers complained that the wood on the stage was rotting. Unless KI decides to put real money (like millions of dollars) into Timberwolf I doubt we'll ever see it used as a concert venue ever again after the 2022 flop.
Beast 2.0 is a stupid idea. The ride is great as it currently is and doesn't need "improvement." I am with you on the front entrance being ugly. It's very bland and unappealing. That's a whole lotta beige for such a beautiful park. I would like to see some kind of update/refresh to it. To me, it's a race between KI and SFMM as to who has the ugliest entrance. No matter which one wins, the attendees lose. lol Personal first choice for a replacement for Vortex would be a Mack Xtreme Spinner. But, if they went for a Gerstlauer, they could sell me on doubling Vortex's loop total and have a coaster with twelve inversions, taking the North American title for most inversions. This could also be done with a Stryker coaster and I wouldn't be sad at all. As long as the replacement pays some sort of homage to Vortex which was one of my favorites as a kid, I'm good. I'd actually be completely happy if Vortex was rebuilt with modern track profiling and trains. It was one of my favorites growing up and is still one of my favorite paint schemes of any coaster.
Correction to your video. The international restaurant is used for company events quite often. I’ve been up there for it more than once in recent years.
I love your positivity and unique opinions. But man, you gotta stop pushing your speculation like it’s fact. A lot of ppl are convinced the Knotts/BGT giga is gonna happen because you keep pushing it so hard, and it gets really annoying sometimes. It’s one thing to give in to the enthusiast pipe dream for some fun speculation, but the animations with escape designs and things like that are gonna give people hope that isn’t real.

Diamondback in the front row (or second, it offers basically the same experience but with a shorter wait) is just as good as - or even better than - the backrow 😁
@@TP_Recommendations diamondback is a phenomenal coaster on top of everything at Kings Island. I think diamondback is my favorite at KI and doing millennium force a day after. I think Orion is a better giga.
I think Bat will stick around a while. Invertigo sure, they could stick something good there or redo the entrance, but they don't need to start removing coasters without replacements with how busy KI gets. They're probably filling the Vortex plot in 2026, with something potentially replacing Invertigo or going out behind Bat and Banshee around 2030, or they could go with an indoor coaster that was on one of their surveys. That would put a Bat replacement several years off. Hopefully if one of the other parks pulls the plug on their Arrow Suspended coasters, the parts keep Bat going.
Seeing what BGW did with Loch ness, another old arrow ride, its very possible KI does the same thing with the bat. They are already a park known for doing a lot of roller coaster work ( they built the beast afterall:)
First time to King's Island in 28 years this past weekend. Had a great time. Thought the main entrance was such a great way to start the visit....I liked it a lot better than Cedar Point's.
I hope they put a gravity fed looper there. Again i dont want a B&M. Vekoma custom looper like Blue Hawk? Yes. Gerstlauer ininity? Yes. I want more actual loops like vortex though so you get the negative G's instead of only positive forces....
They have to make it fit right though. The lighting has to fit in with coney and it has to be visually pleasing from the walkway past stunt coaster.

I am not for taking out the entrance with the restaurant, it is great having dinner there when they have the Winterfest buffet and NYE party, it is designed that way to keep you from seeing it to build suspense till you walk into International Street like you said. A new coaster that goes in the Invertigo, Congo Falls, Timberwolf that goes over the entrance plaza like you mentioned would work and look great. I think an Infinity Coaster like they were asking about is the best choice for the Vortex plot. I'd also like to see them go back to Soak City again in the next few years and add something else to it, they have plenty of land out there to expand it and hope we don't have to wait another 9 years for something new to Soak City like we did this time, with them adding a new water coaster to Soak City, I am betting the park is going to have a very busy year, people have been asking for something like this for years.
the bat is the best- the views alone makes it as if you're zipping through the woods.
I have always shared a lot of your opinions and I agree that a ride like Voltron is probably what they'll shoot for now that B&M is in a lawsuit over the restraints on the surf coaster and can't build another one until it's resolved. It'll be their future ride for the front gate themed after the old King Cobra if they do it.
Since Six Flags has teamed up with Ceader Falls it would be awesome to see them install Batman, Superman, or another iconic Six Flags coaster.
If the extend the Beast I will be absolutely devastated, the Beast is perfect as is. Id rather they RMC it and that would still make sad

My opinion on the Vortex plot of land is they should take the inversion record back and an homage to Vortex
KI is my home park, and there are a few things I’d hope they do.
The biggest being The Beast, it needs nothing done to it HOWEVER, you have a choice to make with The Beast, capacity per hour or historical value which do you want to have because you currently cannot have both. This survey makes me believe they would retrack it hybridizing the wooden coaster.
Secondly, the area that is next to the Beast where the Vortex sat is prime real estate for a new coaster that interacts with the Beast maybe a resurrected SoB seeing as KI has EVERY and I mean EVERY piece of the theming and even original track pieces from SoB (Son of Beast).
Last, as you mentioned, The Bat. It won’t go before Invertigo IMO, but, it will go when the land acquisition takes place. Numerous times KI has talked about buying the plot of land that sits left of the Bat and left of the Banshee totaling something like 130 acres of land.
Overall KI seems to be prepping for a bigger expansion than some may think. As any home park, I’ve witnessed a lot of things in the park that seem to lean towards the park getting bigger not just rides being replaced
Name suggestion for the new version: Conjoined Twin of Beast
By the way, I love the idea for this new series. Other parks for this kind of list would be Silver Dollar City, The Lost Island, Six Flags Over Texas, Knoebels (does anyone ever know what to expect for this place?), Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (since its role in the Bay area is about to change dramatically) and finally Wild Adventures (as in, will ANYTHING ever happen with this park?)
I visited KI for the very 1st time this year! Had a blast, great park! A spectacular launch coaster in the vortex plot would be amazing, but it has to be incredible. They need to wait for the technology to get better and get something better than maverick or velocicoaster, or pantheon. People need to say that it is the best launch coaster in the US!
In the meantime my pic is use the old son of beast station and get gravity group to build the shuttle coaster with the inversion that Dorney was going to build but then decided to cancel and build iron menace.
A wood shuttle coaster with an inversion in between banshee and the bat would be my pick!

5 Burning Questions about ________________ is a great idea for a series. I hope it takes off for you. I can think of many I want discussions on: Silver Dollar City, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, BG Williamsburg, etc. You can go on for awhile.

I wish they could bring in another 'scenic' ride like Adventure Express. Stuff to look at during the 3 day wait for a 3 second ride. lol Chaos & Screamin Delta Demon in Opryland are still my favorites. SDD was like walking through the bayou after a hurricane or something & Chaos was inside & an industrial theme. Shoot, I'd do it in 2 parts since the scene portion can be as much as another coaster. Build the scenery & 1/2 the coaster then in a few years add the other 1/2 of the coaster (if that plan doesn't jeopardize the coaster's structural integrity, safety, & stuff.) And I'd always keep a poster drawing of the full layout on display in the line so people would get a better understanding of things. The 1st 1/2 would not be as long as a normal ride but it'd have most of the intense parts then in the expansion you can add the top speed & other stuff
We should be worried. If kings island goes with a dive or wing, it’s going to be devastating. A Mack extreme spinner makes the most sense, but cedar fair (now six flags) will just continue to add force less BnM’s.

Happy everyone is seeing the vision I was so proud of, but also bittersweet since I've gotten called a dreamer, irrational, "don't know what you're talking about", etc for years for this idea. Vortex needs to be replaced with a Maverick. The only reason The Bat isn’t popular is that it takes 15 minutes to walk back there
Honestly the beast is fine in its current form however if the park feels it needs to be extended I think it should extend further into the forest down into the valley and maybe interact with Union Run as well.
Ki Has enough coasters. What Ki needs is an indoor dark water ride based on a mine train. I don't think KI is going to put in any coaster for some time due to the merger.
No they lost vortex and banshee is suspended, need an another for that part of park. Walking by that part and not seeing anything is bad for the park. They lost a massive looping coaster when they took vortex out.

Extending the Beast would be a Worse Mistake than Son of Beast IMO. Just add another Coaster to Double the capacity of Riders in the park.
I know the bat been having some on and off issues recently. For Congo falls it’s was not so popular when I saw it. For the amphitheater I think it’s used onse a year if that. The issue is how much is it gonna cost to remove Congo, invertigo, and the amphitheater. For the front entrense I agree. I know the restaurant above it was used a lot when I went for Winterfest for private events.

Canada's Wonderland has spent lots of $ to keep Vortex up and running, including building/machining their own parts as they aren't available from the now defunkt Manufacturer...😅
Currently Vortex is the top 4 in the Park, until Alpen Fury in '25..

I would put either a smiler clone, or a Hangtime clone in Vortexe’s spot. Then in outpost five, I would bring back the son of beast with his lift hill going over banshee. Then I will put a Marc spinner somewhere in the woods so it’s night rides will rival Beast

IDK, we need to think of it as a GP visitor would on a modified beast. The Beast while iconic and the best night ride has more than usual *dead* space/straight track. Many feet of its layout is meh being honest.
If KI does revamp Beast I could only see it if the layout is modified not simply stick on additional track making it basically two coasters. If it’s a complete rethink it may be alright.
With the online backlash I don’t think it will happen.

I would love an RMC! Don’t know where to would go, I would not like them to touch the Beast but maybe over in the area where SOB was. Idk, the wood aesthetic is an iconic look for an amusement park and RMC is on some mad stuff lately. That being said, I know little of ride construction and or relationships with these other companies. 😅

I don't think they will remove Timberwolf theatre until it is not profitable. The next coaster will likely be in the old Vortex spot.
The Bat is a direct copy of The Vortex at Canada's Wonderland. The wonderland ride goes off the mountain however and is very popular...meanwhile the Kings island version is in a field. Likely why the variance in popularity. 😊😮
The Bat isn't in a field, it's back in the woods, which us a large part of the appeal. I was just there last Saturday and it's line was as long as many other coasters.
11:56 All 3 of them are also either inverted or indoors, making a outdoor standard track looper a hole in the Kings Island line-up. I personally just hope Vortex's replacement gets built before Invertigo's removal happens so we finish making up for the losses of both Firehawk and Vortex.

KI uses Timberwolf quite a bit I feel like
Not this year outside of the school band awards in the spring. They tried a concert series in 2022 for the 50th where they charged a separate ticket and most of them weren't even half sold so they axed that. In 2023 they brought back the Spirit Song Christian Music Festival that was held there before Covid and for some reason they decided not to bring that back this year so Timberwolf has pretty much sat dark this season. I could very well see KI trying the Carowinds approach where the concerts are free with park admission (which is what they should've done in 2022 all along) however I doubt it as there is a lot more competition in the Cincy area for concerts than Charlotte. I think going forward Timberwolf will only be used for the school band awards in the spring and sit dark throughout the summer and be used as Haunt/Winterfest setup and then when they're ready to use the space it then comes down.
When i went to KI for the first time i ended up waiting at least half hour to an hour maybe 2 hours just to ride the bat. I'm hoping they keep that ride because it is a lot faster than Iron Dragon at CP.
Edit: Why get rid of Invertigo when you can either
1: Transfer it to another small park like Michigan's Adventure or a big park like Knotts Berry Farm or another small park on the OG Six Flags half of the parks (before the merge)
Or
2: Move it to another section of the park cause we all know that Kings Island will regret getting rid of the ride like they did with Volcano the blast coaster and Vortex R.I.P. to both this rides 😢😢😢.
Edit 2: I really hope Kings Island gets a Mack Spinning Coaster and make it to Vortex's Revenge and theme it to Tornadoes and Hurricanes with a Vortex in the middle.

Yet Timberwolf sat dark this season outside of the school band awards in the spring. The updates they did in 22 were very minimal TLC and the concerts they tried then didn't work out. In fact I believe one of the performers complained that the wood on the stage was rotting. Unless KI decides to put real money (like millions of dollars) into Timberwolf I doubt we'll ever see it used as a concert venue ever again after the 2022 flop.

I am with you on the front entrance being ugly. It's very bland and unappealing. That's a whole lotta beige for such a beautiful park. I would like to see some kind of update/refresh to it. To me, it's a race between KI and SFMM as to who has the ugliest entrance. No matter which one wins, the attendees lose. lol
Personal first choice for a replacement for Vortex would be a Mack Xtreme Spinner. But, if they went for a Gerstlauer, they could sell me on doubling Vortex's loop total and have a coaster with twelve inversions, taking the North American title for most inversions. This could also be done with a Stryker coaster and I wouldn't be sad at all. As long as the replacement pays some sort of homage to Vortex which was one of my favorites as a kid, I'm good. I'd actually be completely happy if Vortex was rebuilt with modern track profiling and trains. It was one of my favorites growing up and is still one of my favorite paint schemes of any coaster.
Correction to your video. The international restaurant is used for company events quite often. I’ve been up there for it more than once in recent years.

I love your positivity and unique opinions. But man, you gotta stop pushing your speculation like it’s fact. A lot of ppl are convinced the Knotts/BGT giga is gonna happen because you keep pushing it so hard, and it gets really annoying sometimes. It’s one thing to give in to the enthusiast pipe dream for some fun speculation, but the animations with escape designs and things like that are gonna give people hope that isn’t real.
