Thank you! Trying this now. I am on the hunt for my grandmother’s buttery, silken cornbread she always made in her cast iron skillet. Crusty and brown, smooth inside, and NO sugar! I feel this will be close, except she used buttermilk and I’m not sure she did the hot water step, but…. I don’t know. I am excited for it!
