- This is the long video of my last years trip around on the Norwegian Trans Euro Trail. I spent 10 days riding around in different mountains and exploring some roads that was new this year. Some of you may have seen this before, but I get so much feedback on making more of the long videos. So here you go, hope you enjoy it.

Nice video Thomas! Brings back memories from my similar trip back in 2005, before TeT and gopros 😁. My trip took me along Grimsdalen, Blåhö, etc, on my then newly bought 2004 KTM 950 Gooo!!!💪😃

Haha, so cool to hear stories like this and about trips like this. I know a huge part of the TET is old routes that Elving from Sweden made back in the days, and trough out the years they have med it more big bike rideable. There are not much gravel roads in Norway, so the TET route has been a known path for many locals for years. Glad you liked the video mate. Ride safe brother… cheers 🍻

I love Norway and was 2020 in South Norway on the road. I'll be back in 2024 at the latest, but then as far as Lofoten.
Nordkapp I was already, but without a motorcycle.

I agree about the chicken burger at Vågamo! Very good! I also love the thing they have at all YX stations, "kaffeavtalet" where you buy a cup and a band and then you have free coffe for the rest of the year! Brilliant idea!
Yeah, they have it on all Circle K stations as well. This coffee deal is quite popular in Norway. The only problem, most of the coffee they serve are quite poor (for my liking) I rater brew my own on my trangia 🤌🏻

There is just something about wild nature and scenic places take shame my core. Man that's a damn good vid. Hopefully some more this year. Nice to a relaxing hour watching my style of riding in ne of the most beautiful places in the world. 2023 I hope. I hardly make plans but have desires as the world is pretty f'ed up these days. Fly from eastern USA coast w/,motorcycle to Iceland then ferry to Norway is what I want to do. RTW Keep on keepin' on. Your tent, Hilenberg? Packs reasonably small. Robert the Swede Nomad must have the magic touch with the tent, he dresses the same way too.
I'm currently working on a new series from the trip I had in the Norwegian mountains on my World Raid. Hope to have it ready in a couple of weeks, at least the first episode. Iceland is a place a really want to visit my self. It is just incredible over there. No, I have a Norwegian brand tent, from Helsport. Haha, Robert does have his way with the tent like no other 😆 The Dark lord.
When I worked in Tonsberg for a year I was lucky enough to be able to watch some period crafts people building a longboat from scratch even down to splitting the oak logs to make planks. I can still remember the smell of the fresh green oak. So many wonderful memories. ❤
I would really love to see this my self. I'm really into woodwork myself, and would love to have time and tools to build my own boat. 👏🏻

Great as always. Alot of it has been seen earlier, but its always nice to see it again. Besides it was good to see that fancy 790 again! And TET. 😊 It is always such a great weather when your out riding in your videos. So it made me smile a bit when I saw that you also can have bad weather. 😎 in my case it seems that I got my own personal raincloud, follow me around on my trips. But hey! All weather is good ridingweather. After all it is Norway! ..We can take it. And we are vikings right..?

3-4 season tent. Air mattress and down sleeping bag makes for quality rest. Flask for fueling stove and occasional nip. Thank you for looking out for us by clearing road hazards.
Indeed… a quality sleep is absolute must on longer trips. It makes or brakes a trip when you riding for several days. I really enjoy making simple food on my stove or just to make myself a great cup of coffee when I’m enjoying all aspects of a motorcycle adventure. And I’m a firm believer that you should be a good ambassador for the stuff you do. Make sure you motivate others by what you do, not what you say. Cheers

I really do enjoy this and appreciate the many moments I get to experience extra with taking the time and share my trips as well. I have never tried weddings my self, always scared I will screw up the most important day for someone else. The pressure is real 😆

Is it possible that you give me some Tips. I plan a Tour to the Nothcape. What will be the best Route to Nothcape? Via Sweeden and Finnland or across Norway.
@@jtmimsmannontour8028 well, if the weather is Nice, up trough Norway is probably one of the best trip you could ever do! Going to Bodø and then Lofoten and Senja before the north cape! Pure magic! Sweden and Finland is just forrest and quite boring.
I have expected to see T700 WR and there is still unbeatable "jack of all trades" ;-)

Takk for det Nomad 👏🏻🤩 Veldig hyggelig å høre at jeg inspirerer andre til å lage mer film. Det er ingen ting som motiverer meg mer. Vi må alle begynne et sted, mine første filmer var ikke noe mesterverk det heller, men jeg har jobbet hver dag i over 3 år med å forbedre meg, å jeg er langt ifra utlært. Fordelen med dette er at man lærer noe nytt hver dag. Om det ikke er redigering, så er det lyd, eller story telling, eller farge korrigering. Alltid noe å jobbe med, som jeg finner ekstremt kjekt. Så dette blir nok noe jeg blir å jobbe med resten av livet 🎥🇳🇴 Er du fra Bergen du også? Sotra kanskje? Takk for hyggelig tilbakemelding 🍻
@@tshansen Sitter på en liten plott av land ute på Sotra ja. Takker for hyggelig tilbakemelding. :)) Jeg har kanskje tatt litt hardt i, men jeg har bestilt meg en drone og ett 360 camera + ny Gopro 11. hehehe... Så nå må jeg virkelig begynne å lære film teknikk.
@@onononomad Neida, det er ikke å ta hardt i, bare husk at flere kamera gir mer arbeid og man må ofte sette seg inn i hva og hvordan det er best å bruke. Bare for at man har x antall kamera, er det ikke sagt at alle skal brukes hele tiden 😇 Drone er noe av det bedre man kan supplere med for filmatiske sekvenser, men 360 kamera er jeg ikke spesielt fan av selv. Gir ikke noe godt bilde også generer det bare mye merarbeid i ettertid. Jeg fokuserer heller mer på historie fortelling enn 360 kamera for egen del.

Thomas, you do excellent filming and you mention the names where you pass, but it would really improve the video, if you show where you go on a map. I happen to be Norwegian and can sort of understand your route, but for foreigners, it will be impssible and almost defeats the purpose of a TET video; to show other riders where they could go. I'm not being crithical, but I'm trying to be constructive.
Thank you Steinar 🤩 I'm not quite sure how to make this as a good ad-on to the footage. To just see a line on a map, need to serve a purpose or add value to the whole video, not only the route it self if you know what I mean. I'm not sure how this defeats the purpose of a TET video? The complete track on a map is really easy to find on transeurotrails webpage and you can easily find the path I'm following there? I would agree if I made a video about how to navigate the TET or how to find roads in the wild etc. But this is a travel video with me riding along the Norwegian TET, it is not ment to be a video to show others where to go, but it I will try to see if this is something that is easier to make more of in future productions. Keep in mind this is a old series of videos I edited together to make one long video for a part of my audience want longer videos, not short ones. Thank you for this feedback, I appreciate it. @@tshansen just something simple as a map with an outline of the routes taken, many could do a screen shot and figure it out. Present it at the end for 1/2 minute or so little explanation. It's a big place with many routes to take appears to me.

@@tshansen Ja, har en Honda CB500x nå. Kjøpte sykkel igjen etter mange års opphold, da eldste guttungen skulle øvekjøre til lett mc lappen. Men den er litt liten for meg. Har testa tenere (vanlig) og den frista veldig. Satt mye bedre på den. Kjørte endel motocross i ungdommen, og T7 var litt som en stor crosser😎
