- This video is about me fitting a UBEC to my Traxxas TRX4 Sport. This upgrade goes with my high voltage Savox steering Servo upgrade.

Good explanation about BEC.
You need a soldering jig. I just got one. It is called the " Jigs up" . It will help you to set-up everything. You can even solder connector sets for both motors and batteries too. Awesome made of metal and easy to use.
You did not show how to hook up the UBEC to Receiver or to steering servo ??
It's called The Helping Hands that's what that things called
Yeah I have converted my original hornet to a ubec but kinda got confused when I had to fit a on/off switch not sure where to attach the black and red wires do you know if it's too the black/red on the ubec thanks buddy. If your still around that is????
Probably made it to hot when soldering
Not just easier to put in a hobbywing 1080 rev that will do up to 7.4 votes. Cool video though very informative
Sean’s RC Adventures Yep that is another perfectly good way to go. It’s more expensive than a BEC but if you are upgrading the ESP anyway it’s a solid choice. ESC manufacturers are now upping the internal BECs to keep up with the HV servos coming out. That said some of the extreme HV servos are asking for some serious amps.
RCKicks yeah I wish traxxas would just stop putting crappy servos in the rigs.
savox are the equivalent of hobbywing esc to the rc industry on the other hand Traxxas electronics are utter ********* shit seeing that titan motor made me want to vomit
