After trying for ages to become a better singer I found Bens Singer Blog and this appears to be the simplest home study course (check it out on google)
Most people think they cant sing because the song is playing in the wrong key. Best to go early and ask the DJ to do a test run and finde the write key for the song so you can sing it well. Or use Karaoke at home so you learn about how putting first the song in the rite Key befor you start singing.
Karaoke isn’t anything to do with the singer, it simply means the music comes from a pre recorded track (not a live instrument . Karaoke / backing tracks have been used for fun and to back professionals for many years, the words on the screen are nothing to do with the term karaoke. Karaoke means empty orchestra in Japanese. The voice, the masked singer, America’s got talent etc use karaoke/ backing tacks. I’ve used karaoke / backing tracks as a pro singer on many occasions. Sing your heart out, it’s good for the mind and body. ❤️
Karaoke has EVERYTHING to do with THE SINGER. If the vocal talent isn't even remotely in key or strong it makes the entirety of the song a shit show. Shows like The Voice or American Idol judge the singers not the backing tracks LMFAO. Come to karaoke prepared with tracks that are within your range because believe me although most of us are there to have fun, we notice when you suck really bad.
"You don't have to be a good singer to karaoke"........but you can be though. I've heard some amazing singers doing karaoke. It's always nice to get a break from "LOVE SHACK" lol......
Songs that need to be banned permanently from all Karaoke bars. Sweet Caroline, New York, New York, Don't Stop Believin', Piano Man, The Weight, Dancing Queen (ALL COUNTRY) and that's just for starters LOL.
I watched this today as i'm a part time DJ and I'd like to be able to drop the fader and sing a few lines during my set. I have an awesome Av setup that with Wifi can stream the RUclips Karafun playlists so I plan to try this out tomorrow. (27th of May 24) I've not sung since I was at primary school 48 years ago! I have a really flat voice so i'll be trying out 40 tracks to see if I can find something I can do successully. I'm thinking Sweet Caroline and Abba- Dreams. I'll be making a video for youTube of me singing when I've nailed it. Or if?? Lol.
