Would love to say that fight was one of my favourites of all time. I mean anyone who watches mma would be stupid to disagree. Like in my eyes you got the best mma fighter to ever enter the octagon (Silva) and who was the one that got me into mma when I was just a kid and I’m sure did the same for many others as well. Then you got a guy that in my eyes the only other guy (Adesanya) that even compares to Silva and they fight the same way. Both very smart fighters and I love both of your fight styles!!! Like Adesanya always says he’s not stupid he’s not just gonna let guys hit him and Silva’s the same way unless he knew the guy didn’t have a chance so Silva let them have a chance sometimes lol. They walk all over there opponents the same way. You both are my hero’s love you both!!! To me if there’s any such thing as a super fight. That fight would be one for sure! And will be one for all the fans to remember for as long as the ufc continues! I know for myself I’ve watched that fight like a dozen times. Adesanya thanks for coming into the octagon and doing what you do! Your skills are insane, don’t let the haters get to you there will always be haters cause everyone likes fighting styles differently, but just ignore them and keep doing what you do! And besides to me you were the first guy Silva that fought Silva I think ever and had him on his toes the whole time. Which shows me he respects your talent as should everyone else. You both are so similar in the octagon I love it!!
I'm not an expert but I remember seeing Silva 10+ years ago and thinking he was some kind of ninja. You don't need to be a master fighter to tell that he was on a different level.
I feel like Anderson paved the way for many fighters and influenced many on different tricks as he introduced them to the octagon which many new fighters including Adesanya learned from. So 10 years ago I don't think Adesanya could beat him.
I think the scariest thing about watching Israels fights is that he's not even in his prime yet. The kid is still improving a lot and he's already probably one of the best strikers in the UFC. Like his toughest fight so far was Gastelum and when it came down to that 5th round and digging deep, Adesanya demolished him. I'll borrow a phrase Israel himself would probably appreciate, his "i'm prepared to die" moment was like him activating a zenkai boost. He came into that 5th round stronger than ever. A prime Anderson would likely beat Adesanya but prime Anderson vs an Adesanya maybe 2 years from now? I like to imagine Adesanya would fuck him up.
When I watched that fight it almost seemed like Anderson didn't want to win. Like he was just there to play a little and pass the torch to Israel. Does anyone know what Silva said to him when he hugged him at the end of the last round?
That was my thoughts watching the fight. Seemed 1 and 1 going into the 3rd and Anderson let him land a lot in that round. Imagine Anderson won that then went on to beat Gastelum for the belt. Undeniable goat if it went that way
It just didn't look like he was really trying to press adesanya to me. It looked casual, almost friendly, like they were just sparring and having a good time then every once in awhile Silva would throw something to test him then back off.
Let’s just remember Silva was 43 years old when they fought. The shit shouldn’t have happen. Izzy was supposed to win at that point. How he gone say it would’ve been the same result if It was Prime Silva. We just saying anything these days
Ok but you seen the stoppage after Adeysana got tagged?? Yea they cant let old man KO him. Prime Silva, WITH HIS BJJ, and faster more crisp, before broke leg when he used to throw crippling leg kicks, he kills this guy. Im sorry, 43 adeysana will die with prime silva. Prime silva beats prime izzy. Like the guy, but Silva is another level

If you know your opponent and know yourself the battles already won, don't know the quote verbatum, but people think that professional fights are like street fights were people win by strength and luck, UFC is closer to chess than actual real life fighting.
How many Elite Strikers does Anderson have on his resume
Stylebender and street jesus, they're the new face of UFC
FML These new casuls every damn where...No offense to either they're fine fighters but Jorge has been a competitor a good long while so nothing new about him. Stylebender reminds me of Silva/MVP as both of them have crazy head movement but one wrong guess leads you to a nice long nap.(Silva vs Wiedman 1, MVP vs Lima) So if anyone out there figures out his go to movement they can try and pull a tricky attack like Jorge vs Askren.
@@scotthall7307 Dumbass casual
@@scotthall7307 so ever tall black man with head movement is the same??? ok got ya
They are both in the new UFC game cover
Man this dude is awesome I love he’s appreciating and acknowledging his hero but stil saying he’s next I’m the best Anderson passed the torch and he’s running with it right on !!
Soon as he referenced naruto, the fight and the SPECIFIC episode I was all in on this guy lol
7:20 “can you google this, pull that up Jamie *laughs*” - izzy
His love for anime is amazing.
Even Bruce Lee said it, when you have two people of equal abilities, the one who wins is the master of the feint.
Everyone hateing on Izzy but yet he's still beating everyones ass
Hating ??
The longer I live the more I realize we are just living in moments in time. Belts come and go but iconic images and memories will last even longer.
🙏🙏🙏 I’m really enjoying interviews with Adsanya 👍💪 he is so Genuine and funny .. I have become a big Fan of his .. Great personality and a great Fighter 🙏🙏🙏

"I would've beaten a prime Anderson Silva" - Israel
Israel proving himself right lol

my nigga he just has confidence in himself...you’re mental 🤦🏿♂️
“Yeah I think I would lose to someone” makes more sense.
@Matthew Swafford Conjecture 101- fact is we will never know.
Yeah but you can't knock the guy for having ultimate confidence in himself. That's the reason he's as good as he is.
Had to watch this fight again today... amazing fight! Izzy is the man but Anderson is the GOAT
Izzy: “I punched him in the tummy and he hit me in the cummy” 😂 😂 Say what??
Cody Mathes wtf does that even mean

I'm pretty sure he ment to say "tummy"... "and he touched me in the tummy" 5:05 but it sounded funny af

"Stop doing that' literally me watching Silva every time Silva gets punched with his hands down since the Weidman fight
Oh you're one of those "hands up" guys... or as i like to call it the fighting experts
@@iloverosenamajunas8082 when you get to your 40s, you normally are not as quick and may need to do a little more to not get punched in the face. Hands up would help with that. His recent defense has been walk forward and hope chin survives. Not an expert but i can Wiki his 1-6-1 record since weidman.
@@krylesangerbeaver yeah sure, you are the expert. The magical hands-shield man. Congrats
@@iloverosenamajunas8082 you don't get it, casual, he's got a point. Silva does still have amazing head movements, but they're not as quick as they used to be. He's human and age eats away all humans.
@@jovanleon7 imagine thinking the "hands up" guy is not a casual and is right. What a joke
This fight was by far the best UFC fight in a while.
That fight was incredible it was like Silva vs his younger self but better
Anderson would beat his ass on his prime bro
I found this conversation very enlightening ⚡️⚡️🙌❤️
Joe “bet the HOUSE” Rogan
I'm not an expert but I remember seeing Silva 10+ years ago and thinking he was some kind of ninja. You don't need to be a master fighter to tell that he was on a different level.
Adesanya is a beast. Watching the fight with him and Anderson, it was amazing. Game on game.
it a "taijutsu" fight, damn I hella felt that when it comes to the UFC lmao
This guy oozes confidence and cool. I’m now a fan!
I feel like Anderson paved the way for many fighters and influenced many on different tricks as he introduced them to the octagon which many new fighters including Adesanya learned from. So 10 years ago I don't think Adesanya could beat him.
I’m glad Joe brought him back, very intelligent lad
I seen this fight has the “passing of the torch” as Silva could see his younger self in adesanya.
He is maybe the top fighter of this time. Im excited for the future.
When I watched that fight it almost seemed like Anderson didn't want to win. Like he was just there to play a little and pass the torch to Israel. Does anyone know what Silva said to him when he hugged him at the end of the last round?
Someone do tell!
Definitely a pass a torch fight, same goes for Adesanya to not go all out on Silva.
Silva said " i pass the batton to you "
No way this could beat Anderson Silva on his prime.
My man referenced one of the best fights in naruto, good shit
Let’s just remember Silva was 43 years old when they fought. The shit shouldn’t have happen. Izzy was supposed to win at that point. How he gone say it would’ve been the same result if It was Prime Silva. We just saying anything these days
For real tho. At the beginning I was admiring him but getting to know him closer his character is on top of the roof.
I love how he’s so gangster that he brought Naruto to the JRE. I bet you nobody has done that...
I can't believe I did not recognize his Rock Lee stance until now.
Dean Winchester bro legit I saw this happeneing and I’m like “This nigga just opened up the first gate “
Rock lee vs gaara is one of the most iconic fight in Naruto👌.. This guy understands it
WTF, I love Adesanya now.
Seriously though, he's a great fighter. I'm happy that he's both humble and yet cognizant and proud of his own abilities.
