- Original jawa babetta 210. 2 speed automatic transmission. Run 45km/h cold. And warm about 60-65km/h
Full original whit 5500km and ist from 1993 the last production year for the jawa moped.
Ahhh my very first moped! While everyone else was riding their Vespa's or Puch's I always was the first to reach max speed with the two automatic gears. The Jawa Babetta is not at all hip or anything, but it was the most comfortable ride in those days.
Might get one again, just for old time's sake.
Thanks for posting!
Czechoslovakia moped 😎😎😎

This looks and runs like my moped I got from my mother (1992 model.)
Nice. What brand?
@@MAL-Collector I figured out one thing tho, its not from 1992 but from 1962.
And it's a Corvette Olympic.
Nice 👍
the shift into 2nd is gorgeous.
If you can hear it then yes 😉 but shift very smoothly. You can't feel the shift when riding. Only hear it. 😄
@@MAL-Collector I'm gonna get a single speed one soon(Ive been gifted it, I have to pay the shipping yet) I'll try souping it up with some tame cylinder porting, a 19mm carb and an exhaust. If stock performs like this then that should be enough for f*cking around haha
@@Toxic2T cool. Yeah so it's a Babetta 207? That's a one speed. But only tops 45km/h max. stock unlimited. This 210 2 speed does 60km/h max.
But a fun moped. And really cheap. Parts are cheap too in Europe.
@@Toxic2T I can see you have a Suzuki fa50 I have one too 👍😉
But the quality is not so good. They are built of old tin cans. Wobbly frame. The engine can get alot of problems. But if you can figure out the engineering then it should be fairly easy to have running. Just remember it's made in a time when the country was really poor. And soo was the matterials. But still better quality than a new Chinese scooter of cause 😄
The long drive
I just got a Jawa 210 to restore.
Can we see progress please
👍💪🥂
I think this jawa is trimmed up cause original jawa 210 dont run up to 60 kmh it only tops 40 / 35 kmh.
No its all original. No tuning. The most af the babetta i owned does run about the 50-60. This one does sometimes about 65?.
The older model whit 1 speed is much slower. About 40-50
Ist of cause whitout the limiter. In the engine and the transistor.
Nekem is volt de az enyém vitte a 60-at gyári volt az egész
I recently bought one of these and i was just wondering how you are able to get it to start so quickly? I cleand the carb but it dident help a whole bunch. Anyways nice ride!
All the jawa's i had was easy to start. Do you have the choke pin in youre caburator? Some jawa'a cant start witout a lityle choke and some does not need it. All engines are different.
Does it otherwise runs great?
It runs fine its just a bit hard to start
@@Jawa_tho do you have the choke pin? Maybe Change the spark plug. If its original. The seal get worn. Som maybe that could get you trouble. When it gets warm it expand and seals as it should. It a really common fault for all engines.
i have the choke pin puched when starting, probobly going to try to get a new spark plug and see if that helps
I heard it shifts due to engine revving which produces a centrifugal force, that force shifts the engine block in to another gear, is this true? Thank you!
Yes that is exactly how it works! Simpel.
Ooo soy fan de esas motos adonde compras esas piesas
Na prodaju li ti e motor jawa 210
Ti veríš tomu tachometru ?
Ja mám porobenu babettu a ide 70 vyše
A tachometer ukazuje 30-40
Pozeraj to cez GPS tachometer ten sťahuj cez app store alebo Google play

@@jezdi634 ahh sorry I actually didn't see you comment. Yes all love from Denmark. Love jawa and romet from polan. MZ from Germany too. They are special machines. Cheap and realible. ;)
Best regards from Denmark.
@@jezdi634 so you speedometer goes around 40 on the jawa. And on GPS it does 70? Holy. That's a quality speedometer. I think it's broke mate 🤣 my does the exact km/h on speedometer and GPS.
Hi, what spark plug do you use?
Brisk n15y
NGK b5hs.
Thanks for the reply. I use Brisk n15y too for my Babetta 207.
Anyway nice 210 👍
@@mpkft7659 super. Of cause thanks to you too 🤠 Thanks for watching. And enjoy you 207. I had altot of those too. 👍 Better than the 210 I think hehe.😄
I got mine running a while back but it was soooo slow like 15km per hour any suggestions?
Probably not shifting gears?
You got oil in the second shifting clutch, probably when you are at the max speed there is a cink cink cink sound its the one on the right
Where do you get parts from for the jawa
You can buy parts at jawashop.com
And jawaparts.com they have all the parts you need.
I need to Pimp mine can anyone help in the UK?
Cold start bez sytice a hned jede bez zahrati ?
English 😄
@@MAL-Collector translation of what he said:
,,cold start without choke and imideatly runs without warmup?''
thats what he said
@@frodo4087 No the choke pin is on. But starts every time first try. I turn off choke right when it starts. Full Throttle clicks it off. As I did on video ;)
Anybody who knows how i get my babetta faster? It runs now like 30 kmh
I got one recently and it does 34km/h. I think you should be quite happy with 30 but you can take the end of the exhaust off change the air filter, mess around with the carb or just find a steep hill!
well
1. clean carb and air filter
2. new spark plug (i bought new oil and a spark plug for 4$ so its really cheap)
3. try cleaning out your exhaust (the carbon deposits inside it can really slow it down so try to burn it out somehow or scrape it off)
4. check ur wheel bearings and tire pressure
then it should hopefully go a bit better
but remember its still just a babetta
mine does like 35-40 depends on wind
Wider exhaust porting, thicker gasket to give it some more porting degrees(transfer+exhaust), a bigger carb with proper intake tube, a proper expansion chamber and if it's possible new gear ratio. That's what I'm gonna do as soon as I retire mines from where it is.
Wie und wo stellt man die Automatik richtig ein?
You mean the gear skift?
Ist a long time since I worked on that system. But I don't think there's an adjustment. There are small clutch shoes that's springe out. If the springs or shoes are worn. It won't work.. the left side cover.😊
Weil meine Babetta zu zeitig in den 2. Gang schaltet
@@DDRFan500 definitely the brake shoes or springs. Or maybe the belt is worn out. One of these 3 thing. Or maybe all of them. You can buy part dirt cheap on eBay.de From Polen. 😉
Okay danke Bremsen sind neu aber vielleicht ist es der Riemen
what is the gas milage?
I really do not know. I have never testet that. But it is probaly really good. 25-30km ish. That is what i could imagine for a legal version. I rarely tank it when we are on a long trip 150km there is stil a good amount gas in the tank.
i had a empty tank because i changed my fuel valve and i put in 2 L i ran about 55KM before i had to put it into reserve, and reserve on a babetta is like 1 or 0.5L ?? (dont know) so i would say mine gets about 2 or 3L/100km
@@MAL-Collector I was on a trip with my Babetta 210. I was going average 30 - 35km/h. On one gas tank i went 230km. :D
@@_stoupa2_397 yeah I think that spot on. I'm not using this one. I have 3 of them. I don't actually use any of em. Just for display :)
What the top speed of this?
This one does 55-60km/h when it's good warm up. Normal they run 30km/h
Sorry i like how get that one please help me
They ar 30-40 years old buy a used one somewhere.
@@MAL-Collector so is not easy to get that one?
