I installed mine under left side cover. No issues with reception. I think tge antenna is in remote control unit.Nice system. I did cover rear camera connector with heat shrink to seal better since wiring is ran under rear fender.
One thing to note is that the 4K feature is only available when using the front camera ONLY! When using the front AND rear camera, the resolution maxes out on 2k Front (HDR) + 1080P Rear. This makes the Innovv K7 a better deal, since it has 2k camera's both front and rear and is cheaper. I bought the VanTrue not knowing this. It still seems like a quality build, but they are using a marketing trick...
Absolutely the yellow is for accessory power signal. I highly recommend the thunder box for this. The thunderbox does not draw 24/7 (basically a relay kit/fuse box set up)
Why did they put 10 foot cables (times 3!) on a Motorcycle cam. Lots of cable to bury. No shorter cables available. The remote cable is larger diameter. Not a lot of room under my seat to bury cable without looking sloppy.
Looks interesting. A bit expensive but seems pretty useful! Looking forward to your review video. Quick question, what size bolt did you use for the battery or can you share the link? Also can you share the link for the thunder box?
The cost is a little high yes, yet that’s the cost of these kits. Automotive sets are similar (for the good ones anyways) I’ll measure that bolt today. Also thanks for the reminder of the thunder box. My mistake.
@@SLIGHT_ it’s true what you say about the cost. I guess if you compare it to using an insta360 for a dash cam, this is less of a hassle since you don’t have to worry about it dying on you or having to press record every time. Thanks! Looking forward to getting the measurement, I installed a security system on my Rebel and I remember it took me a while to try to catch the bolt!

I need to do this on my bike. For my safety it’s a good idea. Great install love you showing everything!
Thanks for the comment Jeremiah. Always nice to hear for you brother.
Excellent video as always brother! Can't wait for the review! 👌
Thanks man.
Can you hook up the yellow wire to the fuse box vs. installing a power box so the unit isn’t drawing power 24/7?

@@sc737 bolt size is: M6x12
@@SLIGHT_ thanks!
Hi, did you add that little connecter to the ACC wire? could you just strip the wire cover and wrap it around the screw?
You could, just harder on the install. Yet that should work just fine
When you connect it to the thunderbox , do you connect the red and yellow cables into the same port together ?
I did as I have it wired to shut off when you turn the bike off. As the thunderbox acts as a relay kit (supplied assy power)
Thanks mate.
Best
Can this capture license plate numbers
Absolutely it can.
