Love the old Chrysler! The hood and instruments are just lovely. Just finished the huge hardcover History of Chrysler last night! What an amazing collection... Cheers from here!
4:18 I remember spending MANY afternoons in the local public library over in 629.222 memorizing all the car front ends at the beginning of those old Chiltons manuals. Hope to get a complete set of them for my shop at some point. 46-53, 54-63, 64-71, 72-79, and 80-87 should cover the bulk of my needs and then they made all sorts of single or multiple model ones more similar to the Haynes manuals that I think they just stopped making recently. I still have some from cars I owned before and need to organize them. Maybe time to cut up an old water heater and make a bookshelf?
That trike is called a PPV! “People Powered Vehicle”. I’ve got one. Not amphibious as far as I know. Really fun to put around in, pretty rare these days too. Mine is a 1974. Happy to give you more information if you’re interested. Really enjoy your videos!
That was an awesome thing you did for letting the family member buy back the bicycle and boat thing. There are still good people in the world. What do those fender skirts fit? Good video
One of the Ford dealerships in our town they used to have those pedal cars that blue and white one ! I can’t remember if you got one if you bought a car or what the advertisement part of it was but they were called PPV’s it was an abbreviation for people powered vehicle ! And that big Chrysler 77 reminds me of a car from a movie called Papermoon where the police are chasing the father and daughter in a big Chrysler !
You have a good eye! I like the "buys" that you always seem to find and the history. Keep up the videos that show the results of the auctions! Jeff Frank a loyal viewer from central Pennsylvania.
Watching the auctioner with his foot up on the front bumper of the old chrysler you can't rest your foot on a modern car . My 53 Plymouth has scratch marks on the rear bumper from someone using it to tie thier shoes. Thanks , and the most fun I had the few years I had a place in South Dakota was going to the farm auctions and everything was out on the wagons . so much history . Thanks for your videos.
Love the odd looking louvers on hood sides of 30 Chrysler sedan seen this design on another pick unbelievable lifetime collection of both husband and wife have incomplete Johnny toymaker but that one is complete in original box enjoy the video but also saddens me like so many estate auctions do
luv you videos as always, plus this auction dude had some very nice women helpers with shorts on for a change other then the old dudes that are normally in auctions!!!lol
Thanks Tim, you got some great stuff as usual! I really like the bike thing, the Chrysler and what the old guy had made, they all were pretty cool! Do you know what that tank bike on the fence went for? (1940's postwar schwinn?)
Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I am looking for some parts for a Dodge C700 truck boxed fenders that swing out from the radiator. They ran from 62-75
@@mr.goodpliers6988 Thank you. If I remember correctly 6mo to a year ago you and your friends on an abandon farm with a lot of vehicles in the brush. There was one truck that you hod question about and it was a C model Dodge, swing out fenders and a tall grill, and a wraparound windshield
That was some really cool stuff. What year were those spotlights and mirrors would they fit 1955 Chevy or are they correct for 1955 Chevy, thanks Tim that was some good stuff. 👍👍👍👍👍❤️🇺🇸
Make sure you film the peddle car in the water. Also tie a rope to it so you can pull it off the bottom. Make sure your camera is in a waterproof case. That is not amphibious
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called "Abgasbespaßungsverbots- und Kontrollverordnung" in German.)
Guys like this who are handy and love to tinker, see the potential use in every bit and piece of mechanical things. This particular fellow was, for the most part, organized. However, having so much in a tight space made it very crowded
@@mr.goodpliers6988 Well to be perfectly honest. I had a cousin who was a horder. You could just bairly walk through her house. And forget finding a place to sit down hahaha.
3:40 every one of those boxes were made by him! He actually made of bunch of the stuff that was there.
This was my Great Granparents place.
This is what the word (wow )was made for.
Saw that 1946 Hallicrafters S38 shortwave radio on the table. I got one of those. Great vintage rig.

I was thinking $2,200 is a great deal if the body is as solid as it looks! A terrific candidate for "Will It Start?".
Metal was solid, wood, a different story
@@mr.goodpliers6988 Wood is always a different story :-)

That chrysler was a steal.!
Super fun and interesting; and over too soon!

I have filmed an epic farm sale that I will be posting this year. Stay tuned!
I have a 29 Dodge that I have hot-rodded and it has a all steel body the wood was only to hang upholstery on
Dodge, Plymouth, and the Ford Model A had steel bodies with wood tack strips to hold the interior panels and fabrics
I had one of those trikes with the body when I was a young around 1980 and yes it would float but not good
Auction hottie helpers! Amazing collection!
Thanks Mr Goodpliers, interesting information.
Always great content, back stories and an eye for picking 👍👍👍
That boat bike is the shit man!!! Cool stuff,I can barely watch this video!!! Awesome
Wow What a Auction !!!
Those are early elevator buckets used to move grain or ear corn in a "modern" farm grainary of the 40's. AL B.
Thank You Verily Kindly Great Video.
Thanks for stopping by the channel Casey!
Glad I wasn't there I would have spent way tomuch money in my area to many fellows with collections like that
The little Flying Saucer book has Man Or Astro-man? written all over it!

History Channel ran your segment yesterday morning. 👍
them cruiser skirts are big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Those old stadco lights are worth around the $200 each. Some cool stuff at this auction. 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Not sure that 3 wheel bike was meant to be in the water. Looks more like a PPV. People powered vehicle from the early 70s
Beautiful presentation girls! 😍

I think pound for pound anvils are the most valuable iron items.😂
I saw a pop bottle!!
Like those radios.. young generation dont car about it.
You should show us the menu and prices of the food they sell at auctions.
Tim and Joe are RUclips's extreme version of American Pickers. Sorry, History Channel, grab a napkin, you've been served.
No Axes or Hatchets Tim?

Always kinda sad when you see this kind of thing , we gather stuff through our lives just to eventually die off and leave it off to who ever .
I'd like to say hi to Dick Tracy at the auction.
Love your videos!
What is your eBay page? Thanks!
Total pile of junk except for the !930 Chrysler and your great commentary about it. $2200 was a steal.
Not to bad of a price on the Chrysler probably cost 15 grand to make it nice again. Lol.
👍👍👍
I would like to purchase spot lights, how do i contact you?
Tim
They are available. Send me an email, mrgoodpliers1985@gmail.com
Thank you
These pepole could not walk by anything with out draging it home . lol.
pretty girls in black, dusty shorts and plattes helping out
How does a person collect so much junk? You would think he would have at some point said, "I gotta clean this place up sooner or later".
