A330 Stunning Approach & Landing in Sydney SYD

- After flying Fiji Airways flight FJ911 across the Pacific for almost 5 hours, the eastern seaboard of New South Wales, Australia appears and it's a glorious day to be flying. The views of the cliffs, Bondi Beach, the city of Sydney and that famous harbour all slowly come into view.
I've flown into Sydney twice in the past 2 years from Auckland New Zealand Love Sydney and the views when landing!!!

Unusual to see an East/West landing. After the coconut palms, beauty, and heat of Fiji, Sydney must be a bit like landing on another planet.
Oh man what a view! Making me feel homesick
Oh, you landed on the cross runway. That’s actually quite a rare approach compared to the main and parallel runways and I’ve never ever seen a passenger view before while landing towards the west on the cross runway nor have I ever been lucky enough to experience it either. Looks beautiful and you had the PERFECT weather for that. Beautiful.
That goes over right coogee beach doesn’t it? I remember being there when I was little and I always loved planes and they flew right over our heads. It seemed a lot lower than that. Probably one of the best spots in the world if you’re a plane spotter. I only remember the part when we flew over the motorway. It was on a British Airways Boeing 747 from london Heathrow stopping over in Bangkok. It was delayed a day because of heavy snow in London.

Wow this landing would be more than worth the 24 hour flight, Australia the sunnier and more laid back version of us Brits.
