- Introduced in February 1970, the second-generation Camaro was produced through the 1981 model year, with cosmetic changes made in 1974 and 1978 model years. The car was heavily restyled and became somewhat larger and wider with the new styling. Still based on the F-body platform, the new Camaro was similar to its predecessor, with a unibody structure, front subframe, an A-arm front suspension, and leaf springs to control the solid rear axle. Road & Track picked the 1971 SS350 as one of the 10 best cars in the world in August 1971. RS (shown to the right), SS package was dropped in 1972 and reintroduced in 1996.
The 1980 and 1981 Z28 models included an air induction hood scoop with an intake door that opened under full throttle.

"sport mirrors" meant a passenger-side mirror back in the day. So sporty!
My first car was a 1980 Berlinetta. T-tops leaked and barely fit in trunk. But I was a bad ass in senior high school parking lot. Spun her out at 65mph did two 360 's stopped 2ft from light pole. Missed the pole. Miss the car.
I always lived the 1980 Chevy Camaro. The body was sharp looking back then and still is today in 2022.
The Z28 was always the car you wanted back in this day. I used to have pictures of it on my wall when I was a teen. Yes I'm old lol
Lol I have a 1980 Camaro can’t wait for it too look as nice as it does in this ad
Cut the Z28 short. I ordered the new 80 Z28 4 speed and sold it after 10 yrs and bought a 1987 Grand Nat’l and drove it for 22 yrs.
My 80 camaro started out as the sport coupe with a 229 v6 amd now it has been fully rebuilt with a 383 stroker. just wish it had t-tops.
KillerScarface99 dang I wish my 79 was a hardtop lol
Captain FALKEN why?
@@wastedtime4962 hard top better for racing
also t top leaks and causes the floor to rot
toilets I have owned 6 trans ams 3 Z28's 2 berlinetta's the best f body built after 73 was 77-78 with the Pontiac 400 the 76 455 were not fast after 73 when they used up pre 72 455 motors 73-76 were pretty much smog machines. I'm redoing a 1979 z28 now and putting in a L/S 3 when I'm done with the suspension and get it all tuned in I'm hoping for a 12 sec car. but I'm building really for my Sunday morning cruises with my best friend marijane. we have been at it for years!!!
Dude can I be your friend? I think I'd enjoy a beer with you
Man, I hope this car will still be legal by the time I'm like 20 or 30 smth. Hell, i'll be lucky if it's still around.
This was my dream car since I was 5. This week someone is trading me their z28 for a chevy pickup. Just keep ur eye on marketplace! You'll find one!
Back when they built them here @ Norwood, Ohio assembly plant ! Sad to see it go !
my rally sport looks just like that only better rims and a zz383 under the hood
When I first got my license back in 2015 my dad let me drive his z28 to school he said the girls would be all over me most of the kids didnt give a shit but the teachers loved it
trans am firebird

350, not 305
305 was required in California.
@@basshead. Suck was required in California
What’s the music called
80's porn music
There's a clear influence of Barry White's Love's Theme in the Berlinetta part, rest is very cheesy.
basshead porn wasn’t really a thing anymore because people where working more and doing stuff but nowadays it’s very common and you can do it anyway anywhere and even in space
built by the way 5 min from my house the Norwood assembly plant the home of the camaro if you prefer 82 came with a v6 it was built at van nuys assembly plant a toilet plant to say the least the quality of L.A. cars vs/ the Cincinnati cars are no comparison just like the big red machine and the fucking dodgers not even close.
