It's not just the trikes that have all the best options, but the way us customers are treated is second to none. One of my favourite companies ever.

I was so impressed by rear suspension on my Adventure HD that I skipped front suspension. I have a theory of why. When riding an upright bike, any bumps translate into vertical jams. But seated low between wheels fore and aft, the vertical bumps are converted to a horizontal rocking chair movement. As long as you're in the middle, you're comfortable.

I have a new ICE Adventure with e-assist and that new rear hub. That hub surprised me - I really like it! I agree completely with the comments that Chris made about it.

I love my Ice Adventure Hd FS 26! I added a Falco hub motor to the trike which I found gently used and spent a lot less. It’s weird watching my TV on my TV! Thanks again to Chris! (I won the TV in the background)

Best company in the business! I am an elderly person who was new to the trike with a motor and had severe noise clanking issues after first starting to use my trike. A year long of very frustrating exchange of words followed with visits to various dealers who tried to fix the issue. At that point I was ready to get my money back from the company. But then a person from ICE in the UK got involved and sent me detailed instructions for resetting the gears and voila’ the annoying noise stopped! But I nevertheless was probably described as a neurotic old female with a shrunken brain by not only my original dealer as well as a different dealer inbetween. Thank you ICE, I knew you would try to make things right as you believe in your products!

Good to see ICE still going strong. The seats look amazing.
I was Trice race team rider in 1990/91 (Crystal Engineering at that time)

The Enviolo hub was originally the Fallbrook Technology Nuvinci hub.The early hubs like the 171, were limited in range and quite heavy. With subsequent models improved upon the original immensely. The Enviolo version has an electronic controller (basically a tiny computer) that shifts gears based on forward speed, cadence, and boosting an electric motor. I have switched all my bikes to manual shifting Nuvinci CVT hubs. I have an N360, 2 of the N330, and one N380. All have functioned wonderfully. To give background on this: I am a former bicycle mechanic, never really had a problem with derailleurs, but did sometimes forget to downshift before stopping. Derailleurs necessarily have a limited number of gear ratios, the Nuvinci and Enviolo offer infinite variability in the range. My knees are grateful for always being in the right ratio. The Nuvinci hubs can be shifted regardless if you are pedaling or moving. Personally, I don't want the added complexity of electronics on my bikes... you don't have to have the self shifting version of the CVT hub.

ICE Trikes are the best IMO. Nice upgraded functional and minimized design with the e-assist and infinity shift features.

I have had an ICE Adventure for 8 years, rolling into the 9th. Out in -5 degrees C on my way to work this morning. Out in 30 degrees during the summer. Just need to check some of the nuts and bolts are still tight! 2 or 3 things have happened along the way, and ICE have always been really helpful in fixing them. Now done something over 16,000 miles (a few months since I updated my log book), and I have never regretted getting it for a moment.

The time I did a test ride the cadence was set too fast for me. To change the cadence requires monkeying with a cell phone connection. On a Gazelle e-bike the cadence is a simple twist setting.

Is Ice the only trike that you can add suspension to after purchasing?

I use granny gears when I am tired and that can change from moment to moment. I don't trust Enviolo to know that much about me in any given moment.

It's not for everyone. But I've found it very pleasant and easy to use. ICE also offers the Shimano Autoshift hub that you can change to manual shift when you want.
