My kids asked me where I went clubbing, im 51 and proud to say here. Sad these days are over..no mobile phones no makeup false lashes,.just the best nights ever! 😂
@kaynock1585 I love we lived with no social media, no ring door camera to grass you up haha no fear of being posted on fb while sweating your boobs off 🤣
Absolutely love it, incredible energy... and what's interesting for me, at 36:00 the camera pans from the dance floor (where everyone is facing each other) to the DJ - who is facing the wall with his back to the crowd... and no one is even facing / looking at the DJ!!... oh how times have changed! (probably for the worse)
Absolutely gutted I never made it to this place the way it goes off for Xpansions and njoi unbelievable! I have known a good night at after dark orbit Leeds but this blows it away! Great upload! I’d give a kidney to go back to these days❤
@@ddoubledutch4783😂😂😂 yh, he's same age as me, I'm 50 now, I used to be a glass collector all summer long in a bar called Forties in Northampton in 1990, it was the main place to go till about 11 or 12 midnight in them days, I was only 16 and quite reserved but watching this about the quad is mad, the thing is the crowd in Forties used to go mad like this but the music was more pop music than a rave club, but it seems like everyone was going mad like that even if it was only a pop music bar, but they still used to play guru josh/ hard-core uproar/ a moment in time and others, but working there got me into the dance music a bit more.
The very last night that was done in the quad was the valentine 1992 night when Pat Molloy finished it off once and for all, he also worked the Manhattan and before that the old Palm Court, what a club and what outstanding DJ's worked at these Venue's remember Dave Cole the Quad manager (RIP) outstanding venues
50:21 ~ when "It's a Moment in Time" kicks in ♡ it takes you somewhere you will never go again

Thank God mobiles had yet to be invented 😃. It was bad enough getting past your mom through the front door if you’d forgot your keys 😱
