Even though this song was not written to talk about race or cultures becoming the tapestry of God's glory, it really hit me in light of what is going on in the world right now. The death of George Floyd is bringing so much darkness (which is the lack of color) and disunity. Something that is intended to be beautiful is bringing pain.
I was at this show and found this explanation of "Colors" so moving! In the moment, I totally got his relations with colors and sounds.
