Greetings from Edinburgh Scotland my net friend.
      Saturday Again eh.
That means only one thing. Saturday is Jeffyday 😊.

For me its the lode gold. I value seeing that and as it shows us where the placer comes from and the types of rock the gold often frequents. To see the different types of veinage, colour, size, arrangements etc are is valuable information the hobbyist, the amateurs and the dillétants of the world seek. And theres the spectacular galleries hollowed out by the delving of our forbears id never get to see so thank you Jeff for taking us in to your world and giving show and tell. Your the best buddy. I wish Mrs Jeff and yourself a great weekend.

People from all over come to Jashua Tree, JT for short. Some of these mine shafts go deep deep down. I wasn't sure if you have ever been to any of these mines in JT, but thought to throw that out there. 😊

Hi Jeff, great. Jeff I'm exploring a new mine that has a very old metal smelting furnace that is over 500 years old by examining the metal overburden. Altarized tuffs in the white mine and calcite crystals with gold can be seen in some parts of it. The most interesting thing is the presence of gold nuggets in the size of 4 mm in the white tuffs. Jeff, have you ever discovered gold tuffs?

Speaking of open stopes, those with an old Tucson connection may remember the road into the ghost town of Helvetia. There was an open stope on a hillside in the shape of a giant opera shell. Big Copper owned the land and blasted shut this and other wonderful mining oddities in the area.

I don't know why they didnt open it up more. Thats because that huge rock you had to go around was above.! I caught that right away. You said 2 oz per ton . Does that include the waste rock? I would think there are some rich viens untouch in there. What about where that big rock was attached would that contact point be worth sampling?. Looks like a dangerous place to blast judging by the way that rock fell. What cause that chasm.? Earthquakes. The gold is in the chasms. Find the chasms .....find the gold! Those voids would be detectable with revestivity readings?
