    Those are not for DJI FPV drone it uses 2.4GHZ and 5GHZ frequencies. Those antenas are only for 5GHZ dedicated for DJI FPV System/Caddax Vista for custom FPV drones builds.

      Not really true. If you do the fcc hack you can stay on 5.8GHZ

    Great and interesting video! So DJI has better antennas for obstacles, and iFlight for distance ... Good to know.
    P.S. Super cool narration! 💪

      Update!!!!! The stubbies are weak. If you replace the stubbies and put back on the Dji stock ones, it works even better.

    You are forcing the DJI FPV to use only 5.8ghz when it was designed to use both 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz.
    Because they are not designed to be used with DJI FPV, they surely hinder the performance in some ways.
    It's interesting to know that they work nonetheless.

    • @LandOfMedz
      @LandOfMedz  Год назад +3

      Yeah I switched back to stock and it def works the best. I kept the cover on though. It makes it look a little better. Thanks for watching!

      @@LandOfMedz You say you kept your Cristal patch on the goggles V2 for the DJI FPV, i decided to do the same but i wonder if you can tuck the wires and connectors inside the faceplate so they are kept out of the way or did you just leave them on the outside hanging lose? Thanks... 👍😎

    Awesome video Brother. I need a suggestion for a reasonable priced drone with follow mode to help shoot my videos here in the Ozark Mountains with a lot of trees, Hills and hollers. I literally have no experience in flying drones. Lot's of love from the American Hillbilly and the Hillbilly Nation, Hillbilly Up brother.

    • @LandOfMedz
      @LandOfMedz  2 года назад

      Hey! whats up Hillbilly up!? Thanks for watching my video. "Reasonably priced is very subjective" so what I say could scare you away or maybe sound perfect for you. If "follow me" is something you are definitely looking for in a drone and most importantly does it safely and smart and comes back home everytime....That price point starts around 700. If I were you living where you live with all the different terrains and obstacles 100% DJI mini 3. NOW! If you want a piece of mind, range, dependability but could let the "follow me" mode go in your mind, then go with the Dji mini 2. It can be had for 400 to 600 depending on the controller you choose. The Dji mini 3 goes from 700 to 1000 depending on the controller choice. If 300 bucks is your ceiling. Go Dji mini SE. Great drone but will not follow you. Exo drones have a few that they say will follow but Ive never owned one. I hope this helped. Have a great day.

  • @UnmannedSky
    @UnmannedSky Год назад +2

    Yeah so this test is no good on dji fpv drone. Dji fpv drone uses 2.4ghz and 5ghz to get good range and penetration. These antennas are only for 5 ghz. Which means it will always be worse with dji fpv drone but better than stock for caddx vista and air unit for real fpv
